Sitting in the adjacent hospital bed, Jimmy kept staring at the three of them. Jimmy was unfamiliar with all three, especially Javier, who claimed to be from the anti-gang unit, possibly a former subordinate of Ruiz. Whether he's reliable is still uncertain. Previously, everything was official action, so there's no need to worry — just proceed as normal. But now it's a private action, and if someone stabs us in the back, it'll be troublesome.
Jimmy took out his phone, not caring what time it was, and directly called Ruiz. He needed to verify Javier's identity with Ruiz. Thankfully, Ruiz was quick to answer even late at night. After hearing Jimmy's thoughts, he vouched for Javier, so there shouldn't be any issues.
Early the next morning, after checking on the three, Jimmy left the hospital, first buying a set of casual clothes to change into, before heading to the address Alejandro provided.
