Roar——
A soul-shaking roar echoed from deep within the earth.
Winter's face changed with fear, and he retreated like mad, eyes filled with caution.
In that roar, Winter felt his flesh on the verge of collapse, and his soul almost annihilated to ashes, his body involuntarily trembling.
"Is this the power of that ancient monster?"
Winter and Druck exchanged a glance, taking a deep breath together, each taking out a Magic Talisman, breaking it to reveal a void-like Transmission Channel in front of them.
Long before he devised this plan, he had already prepared an escape route, connecting a short-distance Transmission Channel between here and the Barbarians' Main Camp.
Once the monster awoke, he could use the Transmission Channel to leave immediately, to avoid being caught in the monster's wrath.
