Looking at the old magician who had just pulled her to his side to shield her from the battle's aftershocks, Yuri spoke with respect, her words filled with concern nevertheless.
"Do you not intend to intervene, Headmaster?"
Yuri tentatively asked this.
"I'll refrain," Felas, seemingly aware of Yuri's concerns, chuckled softly while shaking his head and kindly said, "It's the young ones' matter, let them solve it themselves. It's better if these old bones of mine don't meddle unnecessarily."
"Besides, even if I were to intervene, I wouldn't be able to handle that child."
"I'm certainly no match for the renowned Thunder Light Sword Saint."
Felas narrowed his eyes and smiled modestly, causing Yuri to breathe a sigh of relief as she quickly responded.
"You jest, Headmaster. Even a Sword Saint would dare not be careless in your presence."
This was the truth.
