Unlike the temperate climate of the continent's central region, the northern continent experiences perpetual winter, resulting in significant differences in day and night lengths compared to the central region.
Here, daytime is very short, and nighttime is long. Even in summer, nighttime exceeds twelve hours, with daylight lasting at most ten hours, making it quite brief.
However, the temperature difference between day and night is not significant.
Because even in the daytime, the northern continent rarely sees the sun all year round, resulting in little temperature variation between day and night unless a snowstorm hits; otherwise, the temperature difference is generally less than 2°C.
Of course, even so, people rarely venture out at night when there's no snowstorm.
