The name Kun You, carrying the word 'You', implies migration.
Its birthplace is in the Void.
Every few years, Kun You would collectively migrate back to the Void to lay eggs.
Then they would return to this world.
The journey is extraordinarily perilous, with more than half of Kun You perishing halfway or in the Void.
After hatching in the Void, the offspring of Kun You would return to the places they once lived.
And so it repeats, Daqian may have domesticated Kun You, but at best it only changed their habitat in this world, not their migration.
It's not surprising others don't understand this power, like Kun You.
I once again traveled the Void, and happened to encounter Kun You's collective migration.
