"I advise the heavens, the earth, and myself..."
Yu Ziqing hummed a tuneless song, cheerfully walking along the mountain path filled with wildflowers.
He didn't want to follow the typical deities' mindset of it being either you die or I perish; that was unrealistic and too wasteful.
He wanted to eliminate some, and win over others.
In the past, all gods were forcibly dragged into war, and what was the result? Deities who never wanted to participate had their True Forms destroyed, consciousness obliterated, and even those who barely managed to survive held considerable resentment.
With internal discord, how could they hope to win a war? It was just wishful thinking.
This is the lesson of history.
Yu Ziqing can accommodate deities, but they must change or be changed.
At least for now, third-tier deities are still relatively well-accepted.
Whether you believe in them spiritually or treat it as an excuse for celebration doesn't really matter.
