Li Yu glanced at the Fifty Fathoms watch on his wrist; it had been two and a half hours since he boarded this seaplane, and the coastline behind him was long out of sight.
He had gotten up and left before seven this morning, and by the time he reached Sydney, it was already close to eight in the evening, after which he spent over two hours on the seaplane.
His watch now displayed the time as 10:45 PM, which converted to the local time was already past midnight.
However, he had eaten a meal on the plane and even took a nap, so he didn't feel tired or hungry.
Through the cabin window, he looked out to see only darkness below. Fortunately, the wind and waves on the sea tonight weren't strong, and the plane hadn't been particularly bumpy, maintaining a steady altitude of around 700 meters.
After another twenty minutes, Li Yu finally spotted a faint light on the ocean ahead.
He could vaguely discern the outline of a small island.
