"Brother, what are you doing here? I thought you were at the academy. How did you know about this place?" I asked my brother.
"Hmm, are you serious?" he asked, laughing. "I have known about this place since the very first day you came here. I just decided not to intrude on you, little brother."
"It seems I can't hide anything from you, big brother. Is Father aware of this place?" I asked, just to know what he would think.
"No, Father doesn't have the time to care about every place you have been to," he replied and stared at Blake, who immediately placed his hand on his chest and bowed his head slightly.
"Greetings, senior Cleo. It's a pleasure to have you here," Blake greeted him with much respect.
"How are you doing, boy? I have heard a lot about you from your sister, Sil, and she never stopped praising you. So, while we are here, I might as well watch you guys spar as usual."
As we got into position and prepared to fight, he added one final rule.
"Also, the use of your familiar is not allowed. Now, begin."

Taking his stance while I also took mine, he then launched his fist at me but I dodged by moving to the side then we started exchanging blows while moving in different directions like the wind when he suddenly used the shadow step technique and appeared behind me and launched an attack, but I also use the same foot technique to move away from his range it seemed he was expecting that he then follow up with a round kick to the side of my head Which I caught his foot with my left arm and retaliate by throwing a powerful punch at him which he wasn't expecting considering he was still hanging with one leg,
Though he blocked my fist with both his arms, the punch still sent him to the floor giving me a clear opening,
Using the Royal Academy vampire Martial arts, covering my arm with crystalized blood of my own ("BLOOD- SHATTERING FIST").
I can see the look of shock and surprise in his eyes when he saw my fist fast approaching in front of him while covered in a big blood-red crystal about to make contact with him his eyes suddenly glowed blood red, and a giant snake appeared by his side with a 5-star glowing symbol in its eyes as it stares at me as if it's about to devour me.
Seeing the murderous look in its eyes directed at me made my heart almost explode, seeing this I already knew he had lost his cool but I still decided to charge ahead and conquer my fear by facing it, after all, I got nothing to lose.
The moment both the familiar and I were about to collide we were both stopped on our track and in our midst was my brother pressing down on the 5-star snake familiar with his right foot while covering my fist with his palm.
Cleo POV
Seeing both of them fighting with all they had in their exchange made me nod my head in acknowledgment.
"I know my little brother is talented and the only thing holding back his full potential is not having a contracted familiar, but seeing his friend keeping up with him while pushing him back is outstanding i guess he took after his annoying sister," I thought to myself while laughing out loud.
But my mood changed to surprise when I saw him using the shadow step technique to get behind my brother and launch a surprise attack, a move that took my brother two weeks to master and he still has not perfected the technique yet, my brother then used the same technique to avoid the surprise attack by stepping out of the attack range but he still didn't use the technique as perfected as his friend did, anyone who watches them can see the clear difference between the two of them.
"I think deciding to watch them spar with each other was a great idea of mine," I thought to myself.
But my little brother's endless training to better himself and his technique showcased itself when his friend let down his guard by launching his foot at Kyle which caught and threw a powerful punch at his friend, though he defended himself, the force behind the punch still sent him flying to the floor,
Kyle then followed up with one of the Royal Vampire Academy beginner martial arts techniques ("BLOOD-SHATTERING FIST"), this technique is used to coat the user's hand in blood and harden it like a crystalized gem.
For a vampire that hasn't reached the rank of a blood knight, you can't use it up to a minute before you collapse from blood loss cause it requires your constant blood to stay active.
But what made me intervene was his friend disobeying my order by summoning his familiar, but my stupid brother still went ahead trying to clash with a 5-star rank familiar which is suicide for someone his level, as the familiar was trying to devour his hand I stepped on his head for such impudence, while holding the arm it tried to devour.
"Did you just try to eat the arm of my little brother, you arrogant beast for your punishment you won't be going home peacefully but in a way that you won't be able to cross over for 7 days," I said before my eyes glow dark red and I crushed its head and it let out a loud shrink, the summoner also shares there familiar pain causing Kyle friend to also scream in pain and in turn the rest of the familiar body start disappearing returning to the familiar world to recover
"That's for breaking my rule.
I said hoping to see any rebellious act but he surprised me again.
"I'm sorry I got carried away, sorry Kyle I almost harmed you." He apologized to us both.
"It's okay I got carried away myself don't beat yourself up and to be honest, your familiar scared me shitless," Kyle said looking at his arm.
They are indeed great friends with unusual talents, but perhaps that's a good thing.
