CHAPTER 7
After learning that cessiar and Cecilia failed on there mission the Jester left to finish the job, mean while Hiro and the girls prepared for a good day around town, but before all of them walked outside iris turned them into normal girls, when everything was ready kazumi open a portal and all of them walked to the festival, while in the festival momo notice a show and told Hiro that she wanted to see it so he and yuki went to see it but what they didn't know is that they were walking into a trap....
Akari took kyle and lily to the game she mention earlier.
"Well this is it, i want to try this one" said akari.
"How do you play this game anyways?", lily said to kyle.
"Oh it's very easy...the game owner gives you 3 darts and you have to hit the target with all of them, if you hit the center with all of them the game owner will give you a price", said kyle to both of them pointing at the wall that was filled with stuffed animals.
"Wait that's it, really, please that's easy", lily replied to kyle.
Kyle walk to the owner and came back to akari and lily with the darts, he hand them over to akari and lily, "ok who goes first", he ask to them.
"I'll go first", akari said while walking to the game, she got in position and threw the darts one by one and hit the center, kyle and lily were stuned to see that akari hit the mark with all 3, "woah i did it", she said while clapping her hands.
"Nice job akari, well lily?...well what, she said ...do you want to give it a try?", Kyle ask.
Akari walk next to lily with a playfull grin and whisper to lily, "or do you want kyle to teach you"...
Lily opened her eyes wide and blushed, she shake her head and talked back to akari trying to maintain her composure,"i don't need any help from anyone i am capable on winning on my own", she aproached the game and look straid at the center and smirk,"to easy", as she was about to throw the dart kyle shouted at her, "YOU GOT THIS LILY!", lily got distracted and almost threw the darts, "DON'T DO THAT I ALMOST FAIL!!" She shouted blushing,kyle apologized to her, she rolled her eyes and took a deep breath and threw all 3 darts at the same time, the 3 darts hit the mark as she smiled,"like i said to easy", akari watched as one of the darts slowly falls to the ground and cover her mouth, lily saw that akari was holding her laughter, "what are you laughing at akari?", akari pointed at the dart that was one the ground, lily couldn't belive that one of them fall as her face got red of anger, akari couldn't hold her laugh anymore and burst in laughter.
Lily was still angry, "are you kidding me!!??, i hit the mark with all 3 darts, this stupid game is broken", she crossed her arms frowning.
Kyle walk next to lily and try to cheer her up," calm down lily it's just a game, you'll get it next time".
Akari walk next to lily and said in a teasing tone,"maybe kyle can help you know"....
Lily began to blush and look away," i dont need anyone to help me with anything i'm perfectly capable of doing it on my own".
With a teasing tone akari said to lily,"is that so...then why are you blushing so much sis?".
Lily blushed more and shouted, "SHUT UP I'M NOT BLUSHING!".
"oh relax sis, i'm just messing with you", akari said to her while smiling.
"Guess is my turn now", kyle walk to the game and grab the darts, he took a deep breath and threw one by one hitting the mark in the middle, lily couldn't belive what she saw and murmur to her self.
Akari was cheering for kyle,"go kyle, woooo hooo!!". Kyle smiled and said,"come on it's no big deal hehehe". Akari saw that lily was holding the dart that fell to the ground and talk to kyle,"hey kyle mind if i ask you for a favor?... sure akari what's on you're mind?". Kyle replied to akari, "lily likes cats and the game owner has one on the wall, do you think you could give your prize to her i mean she seems a little upset because she lost, i'm sure that will cheer her up a bit"
Kyle looked at lily and then a the stuffed cat,"sure i don't mind, i don't like stuffed animals aniways, everytime me and casey come to this festival i always give the prizes to my sister..i always want her to be happy...i know lily will be happy to".
Akari was touched by kyle's words and said to him,"you're a good brother kyle...don't ever change".
Over to hiro, yuki and momo...
The Jester saw that Hiro,momo and yuki walk to the show and with a manaical laugh he shouted..."LET THE SHOW BEGING!!",everyone was clapping with their hands and screaming excited, the show begin with big fire works that light up the sky, momo's eyes light up as she saw all of the diferent colors, he proceeded to do some card tricks, some funny ones with animals and told some jokes, everyone was having fun,"it's time for the gran finale",he whispered to himself,"ladies and gentelman thank you all for coming and i hope that all of you are having a wonderful time...but theres one more trick that i want to show all of you but for this one...i need a voluteer from the audience". Everyone was shouting and raising their hands, the jester pointed his finger over to momo and called her,"you there". Momo was suprised she got picked,"come on everyone lets give it up for this brave young girl". The audience began to cheer for her.
Momo was a little nervous and said to Hiro,"should i go?".
Hiro gave a warm smile and replied to her, "sure momo go ahead me and yuki will be here".
Momo got up and approached the stage nervously.
"Don't be scared little one tell me what's your name?". He said to her trying to gaing her confidence, "it's momo" she said while looking at the crowd feeling a little nervous.
"Do you like magic momo?". He ask her.
Momo giggle a little,"yes i do very much".
"Well momo today is your lucky day because you are goimg to help me with a very special magic trick".
Momo her eyes light up as she said to him,"really... yay!".
"Yes and for this special trick we are going to make you disapear in front of this wonderful audience, momo was very excited to help amd got into position,"ok now let me get my magic blanket so we can begin, using his hands he pulled a red blanket out of his sleves, he then put the blanket on momo covering her completly,"hope you're ready momo...now on the count of 3 we will make momo disapair, the crowd eagerly aweited for the magic trick, the jester began counting down and told everyone to help him count, all of them counted,"1...2....3...!!" He pulled the blanket and momo was gone, the crowd stud up and began to clap at him amazed,"thank you...thank you...that's all for today's show you've been a great audience take care".
Hiro notices that the magician didn't bring back momo so he stud up and spoke to him, "hey where is momo!?".
Yuki felt something bad, i don't like where this going".
"Oh but my dear boy...a magician never reveals hes secrets", he said with a menacing laugh.
Hiro grasp his fist and glare at him,"you better bring her back or else!".
The Jester interrupted him,"or else what, are you going beat me like you did to cessiar...i don't think so Hiro".
Hiro froze in place and gasp,"how did you"...
"Oh i know much more about you and you're little group of girls", he said as hes voice got more darker.
Yuki noticed the change on the atmosphere, "Hiro wait...this is all a trick!, all of this people aren't real look", one by one the crowd began to banished into the darkness.
The jester walk to the edge of the stage and he began to change into his original form, a black and red outfit with white gloves, face painted white with a black spot on his left eye, a long black hat with a playing card on the side that says joker, "welcome to my show".
Yuki closed her eyes and called her other sisters, all of them felt yuki's call and ran to her.
Asuka saw the jester and ask, "what the hell is going on!?".
"It's momo, she's been taken by this guy" yuki replied.
Asuka's eyes began to glow dark yellow, she took a step closer and skope to him, "you better bring her back or i'll make you do it".
The Jester saw asuka's frustration and just laugh at her,"i'm afraid that's not posible my beautiful red rose...if you want her back you have to beat me"...
Asuka began to growl as her fangs started to show,"oh trust me....i'm going to make you pay in blood for what you just did".
"Who are you and what do you want with momo!?" Ask Hiro.
"Oh where are my manners...i am known in the shadow kingdom as the jester".
Niko tilted her head to the side and raised one eyebrow,"so let me get this straight... out of all of the freaks that the shadow kingdom has...they had to send a clown to fight us?".
Taken by niko's words the jester got a little annoyed and replied to her,"i'm not a clown...i am a jester".
With a playful grin on her face niko said to him," you're right...a clown is much more entertaining than you".
The Jester try to maintain his composture and replied back to her,"i guess they didn't teach you how to respect the ranks you little brat".
Niko stop laughing and got furious," WHAT DID THIS STUPID, NO GOOD ASS LOOKING CLOWN SAID TO ME!!??".
The Jester saw her frustration on her eyes, he knew that niko was easy to manipulate and continue to taunt her,"my oh my...such big words for such a small girl HAHAHAHA!".
Niko snapped and turn back to her original form,she draw her weapon witch was a big metal mallet,"you're really going to regret calling me small".
"Niko are you crazy!!!....you were not supost to use your powers in plain public". Kana said to niko.
"It's ok...kazumi put a barrier so that we could fight without hurting anyone". Asuka said while holding her red katana.
With yellow sparks coming out of her body lily said,"then lets not wait any more longer, all of the girls turned back to their original form.
Jason saw how the girls change and got excited,"oh hell yeah, it's ass kickin time!".
Akari grab him and pull him to where Casey and Kyle were,you stay her and take cover with kyle and casey".
"But i want to fight to". Jason said pouting.
Lily sigh and murmur,"....idiot...."
"Please be careful everyone, we don't know what hes capable of", casey shouted. All of them got into a fighting stance.
The jester leap from the stage and got in front of them as a dark aura coverd his body,"lets dance"....
"Hiro i want you to stay back for now...i can feel dark magic on him". Kaori told Hiro as she looked at the jester.
"Are you sure kaori?....what if you get you're self or the others hurt?".
Kaori grasp her scythe,"don't worry...we will be fine". Trusting in her words Hiro maintain his position.
Feeling confident on his own strenght the jester said to them"Come on who want's to be the first to fall under my feet"
Lifting her giant mallet and with a growl she spoke,"i had enough of this...i'm going first!!", she tightened her grip on her mallet and lunged forward, the ground cracked beneath her sprint, with a fierce shout, she launched herself into the air, as she got close to him she swing her mallet so hard that the force of the impact shattered the ground where he stood, all of the girls covered their faces as a cloud of dust coverd the whole streets, as the dust slowly drift away niko noticed that the jester wasn't there."looks like this clown wasn't as strong as he claimed he was". The girls shake dust of their bodies, kana shake her head and said to niko,"i think you over did it". "Well he had it coming..calling me brat or small...I DON'T HEAR HIM LAUGH ANYMORE!!!".
"Ok niko get back here we still need to find momo" yuki told her. "Yeah yeah i'm coming", she said as she put her mallet on her shoulders.
A voice echoed troughout the festival"Where are you going little one...the fun is just starting HAHAHAHA!" , niko turned around bit there was no-one around, out of the shadows the jester emerged, "hello there" said the jester to niko, she jump back and graps her hammer once again. "Looks like you missed...wanna give it another shot?.
Niko got fusious and rush once more swinging her mallet with full force but this time he just jump into the air."is that all you got...if so you nees more practice HAHAHA".
The jeater continue to taunt niko making her more and more angry, she started to lose her patience, "YOU BETTER SHUT UP OR I'LL MAKE YOU!!". Niko rush once more.
"Awww is someone getting angry...here this will calm you down... the jester use his dark magic to turned niko's into a big snake, the snake turned to niko and wrap it self around her, she started to roll around the ground screaming, "AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!.....GET IT OUT, GET IT OUT, GET IT OUT!!!".
Yui ran up beside her, raising her staff,"hold still".
WHACK..."OW!" Niko yelled, WATCH IT, YOU'RE HITTING ME!!".
"I'M TRYING TO HIT THE SNAKE!", yui also yelled as she swing her satff again.
WHACK...."THAT WAS MY HEAD!!!".
"THEN STOP MOVING!!".
"I'M BEING STRANGLED YUI!!, MOVING IS KINDA HAPPENING AUTOMATICALLY".
The snake hiss at yui as she tried to aim it again slowy...
Another swing another smack...
"YUI!!".
"Ok that was defenetly on you" yui said to niko".
"Well who's next" the jester said but not before lily's kick slammed into his face, He smached into a popcorn machine,kernels exploting everywhere
Before his body bounce off and hit a wall behind him. Lily stepped forward eyes locked on him." I'm in a really bad mood so i'll say this once...give me back my sister", the jester pushed himself up forward from the wreckage. He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth looked at it for a second...then chuckled."Heh".
"You're very strong", he said..."and very fast", his smiled widened. "But it's gonna take more than just speed to beat me".
Lily put her katana away,"oh i got more than just speed", lily raised her hand, energy
gathering on her palm. sparks of lightning began to crackle around her arm. "Come on then..shot at me i promise not to move hehehe" said the jester challenging her.
"Fine then"... she said narrowing her eyes as the energy surged brigther."MYSTIC ARTS THUNDER STYLE...LIGHTNING STRIKE!!!", she thrust her hand forward and a blazing bolt of lightning shot across the streets, tearing through the air toward the jester.
The jeater didn't move, insted he calmly lifted one hand. A swirling purple portal opened infront of him, the lightning blast slammed into the portal and vanished inside lily's eyes were wide open as she couldn't belive what she saw.
"Looks like you missed you're target...here let me show you how its done". He extended his hand and open the portal behind kana letting the blast of energy came out of it, kana saw the attack coming but was unable to dodge it, the impact of the blast was so strong that sent kana flying across the ground."KANA!!!!", lily shouted, her eyes wide.
On the other side the jester slowly lowered his hand and with a smug smile across his face he said,"likei said....it's gonna take more than speed to beat me....".
Asuka steped forward and talk to the rest of the girls,"yuki,kaori,akari listen up" the girls look at asuka,"don't use magic against him, we will go using our weapons". Without a single word they rush to him, akari reached him first, swinging her blade in a fast horizontal strike,
The jester lean back just enough for the blade to whistle pass his chest.
Yuki's sword came down from above. The jester raised his dagger blocking her strike, sparks flying as the two blades collided.
Kaori came from the other side swinging her scythe towards him but he manage to spin dodge it.
"Tsk, tsk," he laugh,"4 against one and still not even a scratch...".
Asuka suddenly appeared infront of him,"dont get comfortable" she said coldly.
"We are just getting started" her eyes were lock on him....
