Chapter 38 - What next?

Author: I actually have a continuation of this story up until the end of the second season of My Hero Academia (its 50.000 words), but for some reason I don't want to post it. Yes, there are a lot of funny and cool details, but you must admit, wouldn't it be better if the main character, instead of choosing a family life with Kuinn and heroism, he goes the way he was originally intended?

What if Taiko becomes no better than AFO, and his mind after sleep shifts to the evil side, but nevertheless more pragmatic, treacherous, arrogant, insidious. He is a direct continuation of AFO, not a clone, not a brother, not a defective batch... he was born to take the place of his fathers. Kyudai and AFO.

What if he follows in their footsteps?

Now a few words about the entries I wrote before. They describe all the events up until the end of the second season of the anime. The development of relationships with Kuinn, with his classmates from Class 1-A, the threat of AFO, Nomu and Tomura. The stain and so on. I can post all of this, but the chapters will be full of unedited holes. Because of my ambiguity about Taiko's quirk. I really don't know what quirk to give him and this is a very big problem, because I can't continue writing without knowing the main character's skills and advantages. In general, I can come up with something and really tried many options for quirks, a couple of times I even completely changed the text, but I didn't like any of them, as if they didn't suit Taiko and that's it.

So I thought, "This path clearly doesn't suit him, I originally conceived him as a villain and I can't perceive him any other way. Why not just start all over again, only along a path that suits him better?"

What do I mean by "start over"? The second arc ended at a very appropriate moment for the conclusion. That is, an important transition and time skip are observed. You can leave an open ending for the Hero-Taiko, and start writing for the Villain-Taiko.

To sum up, I embodied the description: from evil to good.

What do you think? Tell me.
