Chapter 3 - Fanfic idea Harry Potter #1

Title and basic idea

Working title:Magia Mater: Architect of the New Wizarding World

A reincarnator from our world is reborn in the Harry Potter universe with a unique, overpowered ability: biokinesis – the power to control, modify and evolve living beings and even entire magical ecosystems. He discovers that "Mother Magic" herself is slowly dying due to Muggle pollution, greed and overpopulation, and that she wants the eventual extermination of the non‑magical world. Instead of trying to save everyone, he chooses to become her instrument, building a new magical civilization and planning a multi‑phase, global genocide of Muggles.

Worldbuilding and magic system

In this universe, magical beings (wizards, many magical creatures) are symbiotic extensions of Mother Magic: the stronger they are, the stronger she becomes. However, as a defense mechanism, the more powerful a magical lineage is, the harder it is for them to reproduce; this is how Mother Magic protects herself from runaway predation.

Very powerful wizards can "allocate" a special trait into their bloodline – physical strength, a rare affinity, a talent – but inheritance is never guaranteed; the magic "chooses" who gets it. The MC's biokinesis lets him partially cheat this system:

He can awaken or copy traits from magical beings into himself: giant strength, magical creature resistance, dragon and phoenix fire affinity, elf‑like apparition and spell affinity, werewolf and vampire speed and strength, centaur‑like astrology and foresight, traits from the Sacred Twenty‑Eight, Weasley‑style fertility and natural Legilimency.

He uses this power to revive extinct magical plants and creatures, strengthen existing ones and gradually shift magical ecology back into balance.

True magical species (born from natural magical evolution) are seen as "children" of Mother Magic, while artificial or cursed beings (dementors, traditional werewolves, vampires as parasites) are considered distortions or parasites. The MC either upgrades them into stable, symbiotic forms (e.g. Twilight‑style werewolves with control and loyalty) or systematically wipes them out.

Protagonist and power strategy

The MC is neutral‑good from the perspective of magic itself, not humanity: he cares about the survival and flourishing of Mother Magic and the wizarding species, but has almost zero empathy for Muggles as a collective. He is egoistic, obsessive about studying magic, and ready to sacrifice Muggles for magical advancement or large‑scale experiments (pandemics, curses, biological weapons).

He is extremely disciplined with his biokinesis:

The truly broken upgrades – peak physical body, super‑optimized brain, overwhelming magical core – are kept only for himself and for RI.

For the general wizarding population, he distributes only "civilization buffs": higher fertility (Weasley‑like), easier access to physical peak, small boosts to mental clarity and focus, slightly increased longevity and a deeper natural alignment with magic.

Modifying himself is easy; modifying other sapient beings at a deep level is much harder the more complex and self‑aware the target is. This forces him to be selective and to rely on politics, ideology and economics instead of creating an army of equally overpowered monsters.

He trusts almost no one. The only true romantic interests are Hermione and Fleur, who he values both emotionally and intellectually, and who help bridge science, traditional magic and international magical cultures. Even then, he uses a combination of biokinetic safeguards and magical marks (similar to the Dark Mark, but keyed to loyalty, communication and detection) on followers to reduce the risk of betrayal.

Political mastermind and global campaign

The MC understands that overwhelming power is not enough: as long as there is perceived tyranny, there will be resistance and martyrs. So he becomes a silent organizer and political manipulator, building his influence slowly and constantly, decade by decade.reddit

His strategy includes:

Manufactured Muggle vs wizard conflicts: He engineers situations where Muggles harm or kill wizards or magical creatures (through leaked information, manipulated accidents, controlled leaks of magical items) to inflame public anger in the magical world.reddit

Propaganda network: He creates newspapers, pamphlets and later magical communication networks that highlight Muggle wars, environmental destruction and crimes, while emphasizing how Ministries and the ICW protect Muggles and punish wizards who fight back.reddit

Recruiting Grindelwald's ideological remnants: He quietly gathers old Grindelwald sympathizers, disillusioned idealists and young radicals who believe wizards should rule openly or at least stop hiding and dying for Muggles.reddit

Targeting weaker, less unified regions first: He spreads his anti‑Muggle, pro‑Mother‑Magic ideology primarily in African magical communities and in parts of Eastern and Central Europe, where central authority is weaker and resentment against Western‑style ICW policies is stronger.

At the same time, he embraces Muggle science: physics, biology, engineering. He develops techno‑magical products that use Muggle principles powered by magic – industrial‑scale potions, safe enchanted devices, magical communication systems – creating a gigantic economic empire to fund his operations and bind other families to him financially.

Phased extermination: "The Fifth Wave" concept

Inspired by something like The 5th Wave, his long‑term plan to eliminate Muggles unfolds in waves, each one looking like a natural or human disaster from the outside:

First Wave – Silent Pandemics and Ecocide: Biokinetically engineered diseases that only affect non‑magical biology, combined with subtle magical amplification of environmental catastrophes (pollution effects, climate extremes) so it all looks like humanity's own fault.

Second Wave – Infrastructure Collapse: Curses and magical sabotage targeting energy, water, transport and global communications, while keeping wizarding infrastructure untouched or secretly improved.

Third Wave – Creatures Unleashed: Controlled releases and awakenings of magical creatures in remote or border areas, forcing wizarding governments to choose between protecting Muggles (as ICW demands) or their own people and lands.

Fourth Wave – Political Self‑Destruction: Infiltration and manipulation of Muggle governments (through Imperius, legilimency, blackmail and social engineering) to push them into wars, economic crises and suicidal policies.

Fifth Wave – Revelation and New Order: Partial revelation of magic to selected Muggles and the wizarding masses as "judgement" from Mother Magic, framing magical people as her chosen children. Those who side with the MC become founders of the New Magical Civilization; those who resist him inside the magical world are painted as traitors to their own species.

Throughout this, Dumbledore, Voldemort, the Ministries and the ICW act as political and ideological foes: Dumbledore represents coexistence and mercy, Voldemort represents ego and crude domination, while the MC represents cold utilitarian survival of magic itself. Eventually, after enough cultural, economic and biological groundwork, he is positioned to become the undisputed Emperor of the New Magical World, backed by an expanded, healthier magical population, upgraded creatures and a revitalized Mother Magic.
