Pocket Apartment -10 [72]

I had decided to buy Pocket Apartment, an extradimensional residence of 75 square meters. It had been necessary for several reasons. First, the Room of Requirement could no longer be a meeting room, considering that Dumbledore knew of its existence. Until now, it had been risky, and although the director could not enter if we were inside, it was better safe than sorry.

The other thing is that we needed a comfortable place to continue planning, watching series, and most importantly, to use computers. The apartment came with two medium-sized rooms that were fully furnished, including: telephones, TV, internet, and computers, things that I couldn't access in 1976 and were very necessary.

I had then decided to take a mission for The Company, as it was the easiest way to earn the credits I needed to purchase the perks we wanted.

-------------------------------------

Harry Potter - Fantastic Beasts

Location: Harry Potter Scope: Quick

The Company is full of contractors of different kinds; there is no doubt about that, from gods to normal humans, or non-humans, as you prefer. However, there are also individuals who lack the necessary skills for field activities. We are responsible for providing what our clients want.

Your mission is to capture different magical creatures within the Harry Potter universe. You will be provided with a stamp, distinct from the company's, to capture the creatures. The stamp works precisely the same; it needs to be in contact for at least 3 seconds and requires 72 hours to complete the sealing. Then, they will be sent directly to the customer, and the rewards will be counted.

Creatures sealed with the new seal provided will count as captures for The Company, so capturing more copies or sealing them with The Company's seal will not generate more credits.

Conditions:

 - have captured at least five different creatures.

Reward [ Other ]: Total credits equal to the classification of the captured creatures, a creature X is equal to a Tier 1, while a creature XXXXX is equal to a Tier 5 (each race of dragon will give points separately, but counts as a single type of creature)

Objective 1: Capture at least five different creatures.

Reward [ Other ]: Nab-sack.

Objective 2: Capture at least 10 different creatures.

Reward [ Perks]: Wild Talent or five credits.

Objective 3: Capture at least 20 different creatures.

Reward [ Perks]: Wild Defense I & II or 10 credits.

Objective 4: Capture at least 30 different creatures.

Reward [ Other ]: Newt Scamander's suitcase.

Objective 5: Capture at least 40 different creatures.

Reward [ Perks]: Creature Defense I & II or 20 credits.

Objective 6: Capture at least 50 different creatures.

Reward [ Other]: Vivarium.

Objective 7: Capture at least five different dragon breeds.

Reward [ Other ]: 40 credits.

Objective 8: Capture at least five different breeds of XXXXX creatures.

Reward [ Other ]: A random Tier 6 or lower companion that has the tag "Monster" or "Dragon" (if a Tier lower than Tier 6 is chosen, the missing credits up to 50 credits will be given).

It was a relatively easy mission, as the Quick Scope meant it could be completed on one of the worlds I had already visited. Since I only had this world available at the moment, it was easy to accomplish.

So, after school, I snuck out of Hogwarts with Bellatrix to capture the creatures. Lucius and Narcissa had no intention of traveling the world and going to forests and deserts to find animals, so they stayed at Hogwarts.

I hadn't bought any perks for anyone yet. I wanted to wait until I had enough credits to complete everything in one go, yet Lucius and Narcissa came and went, from the apartment to Hogwarts, or I'd drop them off at a tourist spot when I was nearby with my portals.

However, they mostly spent their time in the apartment with their computers. It was a challenge to teach them how to use computers, and it was a bit frustrating, but it was ultimately achieved. However, there are still plans to acquire scientific talent to share it, which would help them keep up with scientific jargon and handle any smart device immediately.

Lucius had really gotten into Civilization and Crusader Kings. Specifically, the latter because, according to him, it made so much more sense than the former. It kicked his strategic ass, even though the matchmaking had him paired with people at his own level; he even had a recurring group he played with. He really wanted to know why a Daenerys was there, but it was best not to ask.

Meanwhile, Narcissa was watching clothing tutorials. She was really into it; it wasn't something I knew she would be obsessed with, well, I knew she liked clothes. She had an obscene amount of them, and if it were possible, she would likely wear a different outfit every day. But making them wasn't something I knew she wanted to do, but I was more than willing to help her.

But for now, she was just watching and learning from tutorials, specifically from Korosensei. I really didn't know if there was anything he hadn't taught. In fact, I found out that he has a relatively inexpensive plan to hire him as a private teacher, costing just five credits for five years. It seemed like a bargain, but apparently it's pretty real. During that time, any member of my entourage could call him and ask him about any subject, and he would teach.

It seemed ridiculous, but apparently, he had over 30,000 contractors subscribed, and all of them had positive reviews. Whoever that Korosensei was, he loved teaching and did it with gusto, and unmatched quality.

The only drawback was that he couldn't teach much about supernatural topics. For example, he couldn't teach alchemy. Still, he could teach absolutely everything you needed to know about composition, properties, and everything related to the elements to pass the understanding part of alchemy fully.

He had his limitations, but it worked. In Narcissa's case, he would be able to teach her how to manipulate any material she could get her hands on, no matter how special the material was.

Unfortunately, I definitely couldn't ask him for help with ancient magic. Too bad, but I still bought his services, along with administrative talent for Lucius and Aesthetic for Narcissa.

Now, my mission as a fantastic beast catcher was... disappointing. It wasn't a problem per se; the creature capture was going from low strength to high strength, and that was the problem. I had already captured 17 different creatures, and it was extremely easy. The combination of magic, metallic arts, Baiser's portals, and Aria left few creatures that I couldn't avoid if I decided to sneak around. I hadn't captured any XXXXX{T5} creatures yet, but I had captured some XXXX{T4} ones.

Specifically, 3 XXXX{T4} rating, 5 XXX{T3} rating, and 9 XX{T2} rating, which gave me a total of 155 extra credits, Wild Talent, and the Nab-Sack that was currently in my inventory. I wasn't sure if it would be helpful to me at some point, but for now, I would save it.

It was a good harvest, and getting credits was addictive. It certainly wasn't dangerous, which is why we were where we are now. To capture another XXXX{T4} creature, specifically an Erumpent in South Africa. I had paid to get information on where I could find them, thanks to the money. However, I hadn't seen any yet, and we had been flying for half an hour with my wings while Bellatrix did the same with a broom.

"I still think you look ridiculous," Bellatrix said from her broom, and I glared at her indignantly.

"You look ridiculous!" I replied childishly, and Bellatrix rolled her eyes, snorting, "I'll have you know that the Mistcloak's appearance is great."

"Whatever you say." Bellatrix drawled, and I glared at her. She wasn't going to change my mind about the way Aria looked when we weren't at Hogwarts; she was a Mistcloak most of the time, and I liked it, something the trio weren't too happy about. I was so outraged that I didn't speak to them for the rest of the day after that fight happened.

"Well, screw you, don't you see any Erumpent?" She rolled her eyes, but I could see a smile on her face.

"That's your job, but no, I don't see any. Are you sure that idiot didn't lie to us?" Bellatrix asked, shaking her head, and I shrugged.

"I doubt it." I stopped and narrowed my eyes as I sharpened my vision with my metal arts. "Over there." I pointed in a direction, and Bellatrix narrowed her eyes, but couldn't see anything, so I gestured for her to follow me.

"You need to give me a template immediately, or at least let me eat that Lerasium to get Allomantic powers." Bellatrix complained. I grimaced.

"I told you that Lerasium is the uni-"

"The only one you have if, blah, blah, blah, you want to replicate it, but you haven't made any progress in the like 6 months you've had the metal." Bellatrix retorted, and I grimaced.

"You don't have to put it that way." I pouted, but she was right; I really had made little progress. Trying to replicate the god metals is much more complicated than I thought. The condensed power of Ruin and Preservation is not something that can be gathered naturally in universes other than in Cosmere.

"Besides, you have two sets; you don't need both, just give me one." Bellatrix added, and I hummed; she was right. "Although the Feruchemicals seem more profitable considering the staff I'm going to get, is there any way to share them?" I grimaced.

"Other than buying it as a perk in The Company store, I don't think so. It's a shame you probably need a template to be a full Feruchemist and have access to all metals. Buying it as Added Potential is getting one randomly out of the sixteen metals." Really, each cost for a template is doubled, so it's not exactly cost-effective to accumulate too many low-level templates; it's not like I have… !!Bands of Mourning!!" I exclaimed, suddenly surprising Bellatrix by deflecting her broom.

"What the hell?" She said, glaring at me as she stood her ground. I stopped, excited.

"Bands of Mourning! How could I forget the bands! The medallions!" I said, excitedly looking at Bellatrix.

"The bands? The Atium ones from The Lord Ruler that you have?" Bellatrix asked, confused as she came to a stop.

"No, no, no, those are just bracers; the Bands of Mourning are a spearhead." I quickly clarified, and Bellatrix looked at me as if what I had just said was stupid. "Yes, I know, it doesn't make sense, but it is a spearhead, but that is not important; the important thing is that it is capable of granting all the feruchemical and allomantic powers to whoever holds it." Bellatrix opened her eyes.

"Wait, you made us watch all of Mistborn, and there weren't any bands or arrows that did that." Bellatrix said quickly, and I nodded. I had made them watch Fullmetal and the Mistborn series to show them where my templates had come from, by the way, not including Akogarete. Let's just say that... It's clearly not content I want to watch in a group, much less with Lucius next to me.

"Yes, but not everything regarding Mistborn, much less Cosmere." I quickly corrected her. "The Mistborn series that we saw is considered Era 1; there is a series called Era 2 that takes place 300 years in the future, where the Bands of Mourning and the medallions appear, which allow anyone to use a Feruchemical ability, with a few limitations."

"And why didn't we see this Era 2 if it's so important? You have to stop showing us half the series." Bellatrix demanded, confused. I wrinkled my nose.

"Again, it wasn't important? I really forgot about the Bands. In general, the power levels of Era 2 are weaker than those of Era 1. There are no complete Feruchems or Mistborn, and if there were, they are much weaker. Oh, certainly, the story and all the events are great. I still love Era 2, but for what I wanted to show you, Era 1 was more than enough. After all, my template is Rashek's." I explained to Bellatrix, and she wrinkled her nose but nodded.

"So, you can make these Bands of Mourning?" Bellatrix asked.

"No, definitely not," I said proudly. She looked at me in disbelief.

"What, why not? Single-skill medallions? " I puffed out my chest even further.

"Not those either." I said proudly, Bellatrix looked at me like I was stupid. I chuckled, "At no point in the Age 2 books do they mention how they are created, just a lot of speculation. I have a few ideas, so don't worry." I had many ideas for creating the medallions, and I only needed one ability that would work; that would be it. "Now, let's capture those Erumpent, they're moving away." I prompted Bellatrix, and she looked at me for a few more seconds before clicking her tongue and moving again with her broom. I followed immediately, as I couldn't wait to finish here and go experiment.
