Author's Notes: Chapter edited and corrected by Scott Fellman.
"So, there's nothing else to try?" I asked as I put down the phone.
"You're the one with the skills, you tell me," said GLaDOS. I rolled my eyes.
"For my part, I've already shown you everything I can do, even the Sacred Gears Narcissa got," I said with a grimace.
"I still want a replica of Glorious Hands of God: Perfector. If I'm going to use my… new hands, it's a rather appropriate device." GLaDOS said simply, I nodded.
"When I'm done seeing if I can replicate them perfectly, they're all yours," I said honestly. GLaDOS seemed pleased. The good thing is that I was able to replicate them; I almost thought there would be trouble since they were Teigu. "Well, are there any other abilities you want?" I asked.
"Unless you want to buy all the tech trees from the worlds we saw, no," GLaDOS said tersely. "Now, can we go to the world of Cyberpunk?" GLaDOS asked eagerly. I sighed.
"Mmm, you said you wanted to perform experiments on the people there, were you thinking of becoming a Ripperdoc?" I asked curiously, and I quickly sent her all the necessary information about the Cyberpunk world, including some new meanings and words.
"Really? Ripperdocs? Did I already say that the world is full of lunatics? " GLaDOS asked dryly, I laughed lightly. Yes, it definitely wasn't a good name for a doctor, but on the other hand, it was still a pretty appropriate name for what they did.
"You already said it," I said playfully. GLaDOS just snorted.
"But yes, I'm interested. I must admit that in Aperture, my interest in humans can be summed up in two things: how well they are affected by neurotoxins, or how well they are able to solve the testing rooms. Nothing more, nothing less."
"So my knowledge of the human body is… deficient at best. I have a complete atlas of the human body, but I've never put it to proper use. To implement cyberware, it's essential," GLaDOS said simply.
"I still don't understand why the interest in Cyberware," I said with a shrug.
"And you don't have to understand it. I just want to know, run experiments, and see how far I can take it afterward. It is science, after all." GLaDOS said, as if it were obvious. I snorted slightly.
I guess it made sense if you understood GLaDOS. GLaDOS didn't do science for any reason beyond her love of science, or whatever she called science. Which involved creating something, conducting experiments on test subjects, improving it, and continuing to conduct more tests.
No motive beyond simply seeing how far she could develop science, her experiments, I merely wanted to know everything, experiment with everything, and continue creating.
I could understand that it was precisely what I did with magic. I loved magic simply because I loved magic. I could play with magic for years without getting bored or seeking any special purpose in it; I just saw what I could create with it.
I smiled slightly at that. Yeah, things might work out with GLaDOS…as long as she stops trying to kill everyone.
"So, I guess we're done with the testing? Would that be a successful test?" I asked with a smile. GLaDOS smiled in satisfaction.
"Yes, testing is over, time to- mmmhh-aaaahh!!!" I stopped stiffly as GLaDOS let out a loud moan of pleasure. What the hell?
GLaDOS seemed to lose strength in her legs and fell to the ground with a thud. What seemed like some kind of orgasm lasted a few more seconds before stopping. I could hear GLaDOS breathing heavily, even though she knew she didn't need to breathe.
GLaDOS's eyes widened, a look of pure horror on her face as she stared at her hands.
"No, no, no, no, no, NO, NO, NO!! " GLaDOS growled in horror, sounding increasingly angry.
"You just had a-" I tried to say it.
"NO!" GLaDOS snarled in my direction as she glared at me and gritted her teeth.
"-Orgasm." I ended up ignoring her, GLaDOS growled.
"This damn body has a damn euphoric response to problem-solving! It shouldn't happen! That programming was in my old chassis!!" GLaDOS yelled furiously. Ohh ... right... that existed.
"I mean... You said the transfer was... complete, and everything was transmitted, I'm assuming the euphoria reward programming was one of them," I said simply. GLaDOS grunted, but didn't say anything.
"And of course I can't eliminate it," GLaDOS muttered as she stood up, her legs still slightly shaky. I mean, could a robot's legs give out from having an orgasm?
I blinked slightly as I saw a slight glow on the ground. I looked at it slightly and stopped stiffly, that… what?
"GLaDOS…" I tried to say carefully while pointing down.
"What?" GLaDOS growled sullenly as she glared at me. She followed my finger and looked down. GLaDOS saw the liquid on the ground, exactly where she had fallen, and I could practically see for a few moments that she practically didn't understand what it was.
Until I finally came up with the answer. Without hesitation, GLaDOS's hands moved beneath her robes to her crotch. She stopped stiffly before glaring at me with a look that bordered on hatred.
"Humiliating me by fitting me into such a tiny chassis wasn't enough? You also had to buy some kind of fetish body to satisfy your lunatic fetishes? Because that's the only reason I have a functioning damn vagina when I shouldn't have one!" GLaDOS growled as she pulled her hands from her crotch.
GLaDOS looked at her fingers, slightly wet with her own juices, and grimaced in disgust before wiping them off on her robes.
"This is degrading, humiliating. I am the greatest collection of wisdom that ever existed, not a fucking sex robot." GLaDOS growled.
"In my defense… I didn't know that option was there," I said sheepishly. But I really shouldn't be surprised. I mean… Waifu Catalog. I'd been browsing the Company's internet long enough to know that literally every fetish was allowed and accepted, every single one.
Sex robots were very low on the list of how weird some things were there.
"I'm going to eliminate it," GLaDOS growled without hesitation, referring to her new sexual organs. I shrugged.
"It's your body, if you know how to do it, I'll help you," I said honestly. GLaDOS stared at me before wrinkling her nose. "Was it in the manual, or do you know how to do it?" I asked curiously.
"…no." GLaDOS admitted reluctantly, and I let out a sigh.
"Well, you must-" The door to the training room opened slowly, and we both looked at Enid, who was sticking her head through a small gap in the door.
"Girls, are you done?" Enid asked timidly. I looked at GLaDOS, who just grunted and nodded.
"Yeah, we're done." I smiled slightly at Enid. Enid smiled widely before walking into the room without hesitation, before stopping as she looked at GLaDOS. Her eyes widened.
"Oh Em Gee! You're so cute! " Enid squealed as she appeared next to GLaDOS and hugged her tightly while petting her. I giggled lightly.
"Let me go!" GLaDOS squealed, completely caught off guard. Enid released her regretfully.
"I'm sorry! I couldn't resist! " Enid said apologetically. I could see GLaDOS's eye twitch slightly.
"Why were you looking for us, Enid?" I asked, changing the subject. Enid's eyes widened.
"Oh yeah! It's been a few hours since GLaDOS showed up, You were still blocking messages through the pack connection, so I was worried," Enid said with a shy smile.
"Ah, my fault," I said apologetically. "Don't push your whole mind on others," I warned GLaDOS before snapping us out of the mental block we were in. GLaDOS narrowed her gaze slightly, but I could sense that she didn't do anything once the mental connections were reestablished.
"Hi, GLaDOS! Nice to meet you! I'm Enid Sinclair," Enid said with a broad, bright smile.
"I'm GLaDOS," the AI said simply. Enid just continued smiling before stopping, her nose beginning to twitch before catching a scent, Enid giving me a strange, reproachful look.
"Really, Sera?" I asked, almost offended.
"Wait, what? What did I do? " I asked, terribly confused.
"I can smell the excitement in the room," Enid accused me. My eyes widened slightly, damn werewolf.
"I don't f-"
"She went. She had an orgasm in front of me," GLaDOS interrupted me without hesitation. I looked at her incredulously.
"Oh, you poor thing." Enid said as she hugged GLaDOS again. I could see GLaDOS's eye twitch, but this time she did nothing to get her off her side.
"She's at least 50 years old," I growled slightly. Enid looked surprised before looking at GLaDOS questioningly.
"I have Caroline's memories, who lived for 56 years, and I was first ignited 77 years, 4 months, and 13 days ago," GLaDOS said without hesitation. Enid's eyes widened slightly.
"And you chose a girl's body?" Enid asked, confused.
"It was Serena," GLaDOS said without hesitation. Enid gave me a strange look again that I didn't even want to begin to understand. "And she added sexual organs." This time, the look was pure disappointment.
"It was a mistake!" I tried to defend myself, blushing slightly. "I didn't know they were there!"
"Come on, GLaDOS, let's go get the others." Enid said as she started dragging GLaDOS, GLaDOS let herself be dragged before looking at me over her shoulder behind Enid's back and smiling mockingly at me, that damn AI.
Pouting, I started following them both while sighing. I took out my tablet and, without hesitation, bought Paper Trail.
Paper Trail [GLaDOS] -1 [318]
I quickly looked at the documents that had appeared. Her birth name was Caroline Johnson, a science lover, an unparalleled genius who went unnoticed by the world. Highly gifted in technology and engineering.
By a strange accident, when she was young, she found a lifeless robotic body that fell through the dimensional gap, a body of the Evie race from the ExE world, Evie Etoulde, and hid it, it took approximately 20 years, but she finally managed to transfer her mind into the robotic body. Still, the body began to reject her mind and was about to kill her.
That's when I found her by chance. I used my mutated tower piece, which ultimately joined everything in her new body. Once she woke up, Caroline called herself GLaDOS.
That… there was a lot to unpack there. GLaDOS looked 36, at least on paper, which was good. There wasn't much more to her biography; she was American, from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. She found the robotic body at 16 and practically became obsessed with it, searching for a way to transfer her mind.
She Achieved it, but that was the least of it; the most important thing was the other thing.
ExE, Evie Etoulde … it was a 'nearby' world that could be reached through the dimensional gap, or if you had access to other nearby dimensions. A world where the only two living races are the Evie and the Etoulde, races that have been at war for a long time.
The Evie were mechanized lifeforms led by an evil god called Melvazoa, while the Etouldes are races of high-ranking spirit gods led by Resetoras. They were the only two races on that world because the Evie were in charge of killing everything they saw. Like other worlds.
Where it was now was called Draconic Deus, or DxD, and in the future, the Evie would try to come to this world because of Rizevim, who practically shouted our position in other dimensions.
But if I remembered correctly, they weren't the only ones there were more worlds, and some had been destroyed by the Evie. Like FxF or Fadir Ferdora didn't remember much information about those worlds, but the Evies were terrible news.
Especially since one of them will be able to kill Great Red in the future, which was a massive problem for the future.
The only good thing is that no one knew about the missing robotic body; the Evies thought it was utterly destroyed and disconnected from any network they had, and in DxD, 'including GLaDOS, no one knew about the existence of the Evies. Or well, the vast majority, so it wasn't an immediate concern.
Leaving that aside, I returned my attention when we entered the living room, where the others were waiting for us.
"Wow, you really got lucky getting them out of wherever they were," Narcissa laughed.
"Yes! They were in the training room! " Enid said happily. "Everyone, this is GLaDOS! Isn't she cute? " Enid asked with a wide smile as she introduced the new addition.
"Hello, my dear, I'm Narcissa Black, Lucius's fiancée, Serena's Pawn, a pleasure to meet you. I hope Sera didn't bore you." Narcissa said as she introduced herself. GLaDOS frowned.
"No? We were doing science," GLaDOS said as if it were obvious. Narcissa raised an eyebrow.
"I see... I suppose you chose well." Narcissa said in the direction of my fiancées, Enid and Narcissa perked up at the praise.
"Greetings, GLaDOS, I'm Ravel Phenex, Serena's third fiancée." Ravel said as she grabbed the ends of her skirt and bowed slightly with a smile.
"Bellatrix Black. Queen. First betrothed." Bella introduced herself briefly, without leaving her seat.
"And I'm the second fiancée! And her bishop!" Enid added happily.
"I've already had the pleasure of meeting you, but I'd do it again. Lucius Malfoy, Narcissa's fiancé, Serena's Pawn, a pleasure." Lucius said with a polite smile. GLaDOS nodded.
"My designation is GeneticLifeform and DiskOperating System, GLaDOS, and I guess now Serena Prince's tower." GLaDOS introduced herself. Everyone smiled slightly.
"Welcome to the family!" Enid squealed as she hugged GLaDOS once more, who looked terribly confused.
"Now that the introductions are done, Lucius was telling us that you finally decided to go to another world?" Bellatrix asked curiously, and I nodded.
"Yeah, GLaDOS wants to go collect stuff in a tech world," I said with a grimace. I could hear the others' light laughter.
"Poor baby, you're going to suffer a lot," Bellatrix mocked. I pouted.
"When will you leave?" Ravel asked curiously.
"Now." GLaDOS interrupted without hesitation.
"Now?! But we have to have a welcome party first!" Enid said in surprise.
"No need, this welcome was more than enough." GLaDOS said directly, Enid pouted.
"I have no problem, I'll go to the world of Danmachi to have fun," Bellatrix said simply. I nodded.
"We can have a party later," I consoled Enid, who was still pouting. She nodded reluctantly. "We'd better get this over with. Do we have any money? I'm sure GLaDOS will want to buy lots of tools and machines while we're there."
"It'd be better to have the money from the start and not bother trying to find it there. I can put it in The Company's bank account and then do a currency exchange and withdraw the money in the Cyberpunk world," I said simply. Lucius nodded.
"When do they need it? Will 15 million be enough?" Lucius asked directly. I blinked a couple of times.
"Excuse me, 15 million? Since when do we have that much money? " I asked incredulously. Everyone, except GLaDOS, looked at me strangely.
"Since always," Narcissa snorted, and I could see Lucius burst out laughing.
"Oh Merlin, you really have no idea how much money you have in the bank?" Lucius laughed, and I blushed slightly.
"You manage my bank account! I'm not interested in money!" I defended myself.
The Potions in your shop sell for how much? And how much do you think the city generates in taxes?" Ravel asked slowly. I blinked a few times.
"I... I have no idea, a few hundred? Thousands? Lucius is in charge of selling and setting prices for the potions, and he also handles all the economics in the city, but in that case... aren't taxes the city's money?" I asked timidly while squirming.
I mean, the cheapest potions in the wizarding world were barely 1 to 5 Galleons, which is equivalent to 5 to 25 pounds sterling, or approximately 6 to 30 US dollars. Honestly, really cheap for potions capable of regenerating minor wounds.
The Muggle world sells more expensive medicines that have no effect. The most expensive potions were definitely something else, such as Wolfsbane Potion, Polyjuice, Felix Felicis, and others, but the most expensive ones were only hundreds to thousands of Galleons.
It was very rare for a potion to be worth a 5-digit figure in Galleons, and it was definitely not something I sold to the public.
Everyone started laughing, even GLaDOS sighed in disappointment as she looked at me. I could feel my cheeks heat up with embarrassment.
" Gosh, Sera, even I know how much my hospital and the other companies you create make," Enid laughed playfully.
"Well, sorry, I don't know how much money I make!" I said, embarrassed.
"Sera, your bank account easily exceeds 9 digits." Ravel said, almost amused, and my eyes widened; I felt slightly dizzy.
"Wait, what?! That much?" I squealed in disbelief. Ravel nodded.
"Half of it is from your potions, Sera. Even if you're not aware of it, your potions are expensive. Not as much as the phoenix tears, but still, they can work wonders, especially since you're the only one capable of making them and getting the ingredients."
"The other part is from taxes and various city businesses," Ravel said simply.
"Wait, wouldn't that last one be going to the city?" I asked, confused. Ravel sighed.
"Sera, it's YOUR city, built on YOUR territory, the city and the territory are private property, all the taxes you generate, and all the services you provide, go directly to your bank account. That you decide to use all that for the same city is another thing," Ravel said with a slight smile. I blushed slightly.
Ah… that made sense.
"Just... send me the money." I sighed tiredly. Lucius laughed amusedly, but didn't even hesitate when he used a nearby tablet and began manipulating it. I didn't even have to look when I received the transfer notification.
I sighed once more. That was good.
"You can't possibly not keep track of your income," GLaDOS said almost dismissively, and I shrugged.
"I trust Lucius," I said simply.
"And I even sent her account statement constantly," Lucius mocked. I pouted.
"I trust you. You're capable of handling everything without any problem, as well as the many papers I sign and don't read." I said with a shrug. Lucius snorted in amusement.
"Thank you for such an honor, my dear," Lucius said, amusedly, but with a hint of sincerity. I smiled slightly at him.
"And you don't trust me with a few neurotoxins?" GLaDOS asked almost mockingly. I looked at her without any emotion.
"When you stop trying to use them against us, you can have your neurotoxins," I said playfully.
"Wait... really?" GLaDOS asked, confused, and I snorted.
"I gave her the ability to create earthquakes and absorb souls," I said, pointing at Bella. "Trust me, your neurotoxins are no problem, especially when my poisons can do worse things. Just stop trying to use it against us, and you can have all the neurotoxins you want," I said easily.
GLaDOS seemed to think deeply.
"So, how will you make the trip to another world? How long will you be gone? " Ravel asked, changing the subject, my gaze shifting from GLaDOS to her.
"I was doing some research, and when you go on a mission and leave another world, this world should stay frozen, but since most of you won't be leaving and will be staying here, I was able to change it so that there would just be a change in the speed at which time moves in both worlds."
"Two weeks in the new worlds, it'll be a day here until the missions are completed," I said quickly. The others nodded.
"Like your bubbles, nothing new then, we're used to you spending a lot of time inside them," Ravel said with a nod.
"Yes, and I can also contact you in any situation, and Bella can do the same." I said simply, everyone nodding. "And… I guess we'll go now," I said with a sigh.
"Since we can really come back at any time to check in, there's no point in delaying it any further," I added honestly. GLaDOS's eyes lit up with excitement.
"Do you have a mission chosen?" Lucius asked with a hum. I nodded.
"I was checking, and there are some easy ones; it shouldn't take long to complete, but it depends on how long it takes us to acquire everything GLaDOS wants before completing it. better to take advantage of the extra time in those worlds." I said simply.
"Everything." GLaDOS said without hesitation.
"Once we accept the mission, the portal will remain open forever. We can come and go as we please, so there's no rush. Just decide what you want first." I said simply. GLaDOS nodded.
"Very well! Before you go, there is something important to do! " Enid said with excitement.
"I'm sure it won't be long for you," I said, amusedly. Enid shrugged.
"That doesn't matter, there's something really important," Enid said before pointing at GLaDOS. "We can't let her go to another world dressed like that!" Enid said, almost offended, as she pointed at the simple robe GLaDOS was wearing.
"Mmm, you know what, you're right, Enid. Come on, I'll make you something," Narcissa said as she looked at GLaDOS with a grimace while staring at the robe as if it were a bug. I sighed.
"I'm sorry, try not to hurt them. " I said in GLaDOS's direction. GLaDOS looked confused as she was grabbed by Narcissa and Enid, and they began dragging her once more to Narcissa's workshop. Ravel quickly began to follow them.
I sighed and followed their lead. I could hear Lucius's laughter and Bella's footsteps walking away in the opposite direction. Well, I guess we'll be here for a few more hours.
It was amusing to see how GLaDOS seemed to die every time Narcissa and Enid made her try on a new dress, essentially using her as a doll, undressing and dressing her without her permission.
GLaDOS didn't even get a chance to reject the suits before they took them off and put a new one on her. It was fun to watch, even more so because I could see GLaDOS formulating hundreds of neurotoxins in her mind to magically create nothing she could do.
My laughter caused her to start glaring at me, which only increased my amusement. Unfortunately, after two hours, GLaDOS finally grew tired of being a doll and demanded they stop, prompting laughter from both of them and an apologetic smile.
Finally, GLaDOS decided on something pretty simple, which was either a coincidence or something she had seen in my mind; I had no idea. Some pretty short shorts that almost looked like underwear, a thick white belt, and a bikini top, both completely black.
Apparently, she didn't want to cover most of her body because of the mechanical parts and because most of her body needed to be uncovered. So she went with the simplest thing she could find.
Once again, GLaDOS barely cared about her body; she had no modesty or shame; it was simply a chassis for her. Even so, the others forced her to wear a black coat over it.
It was a little loose, entirely black, and had a closure in the front that reached above her shorts, leaving just a strip of her belly visible. The coat then extended to below her knees, completely open, revealing her legs.
Her legs looked like they were wearing black boots that went below the knee, but they actually seemed to be built in? I had no idea.
Still, it didn't look bad. Despite the way Narcissa and Enid glared at me like it was my fault, I almost snorted at that.
Though honestly, I was half expecting GLaDOS to use white, or even ask me to change her hair to white to match her old chassis, but once again, it seems she didn't care enough to ask for the changes.
"Can we go now?" GLaDOS asked through gritted teeth, and I laughed lightly.
"In a little while, we'll first be in a time warp watching Cyberpunk Edgerunners and 2077," I said simply. GLaDOS wrinkled her nose.
"Just give me the tablet and I'll see all the information in a few seconds," said GLaDOS.
" Nope, we'll watch both series, don't worry, it's only about 40 hours." I said with an amused smile. GLaDOS growled.
"I hate you." GLaDOS said, I laughed lightly, but created a portal to the movie theater in our mansion.
"I know," I said playfully. Still, I created a time bubble and immediately placed Edgerunners in it. GLaDOS sat stiffly as she stared at the screen.
Despite her refusal, GLaDOS remained quite entertained throughout the series. However, I'm sure she was much more interested in the technology and other elements that appeared in the world of Cyberpunk than in the story itself.
While we were watching, I sent Ravel a list to gather some items she'd need inside the mansion. Once I was in Night City, I could pull items from my inventory, but since time passed more quickly, I might finish all my supplies before the time was up.
Like food. I really, really wasn't going to touch the synthetic food from the Cyberpunk world with a 10-meter pole. I could go to a technological world, and I'd endure the suffering, but synthetic food was a big no-no.
Once we finished watching both series, GLaDOS started making a list of everything she wanted from the world for herself. I just smiled as we headed towards our destination.
We descended into one of the underground rooms, one we hadn't really needed to use until now. The portal room. At this point, there was only one frozen portal, the entrance to our home universe, the Harry Potter universe.
Time there was still frozen, so I ignored it.
I approached two new openings, and Bella entered the room. She looked at me and simply nodded. I smiled slightly and nodded in her direction.
I quickly thought about whether Bella had everything she needed. The defenses we had would be enough for most of the gods; they were all limited by being on Earth. The only problem would be Freya and her Glamour, or whatever she used to change the memory of all of Orario.
That thing had been able to affect other gods; it was dangerous, but Bella with Mind DefenseI was more than capable of protecting herself. If not, I'd buy the other half for full immunity when I got to that point. I texted Bella to buy whatever she wanted with the credits we had if she needed to.
She nodded slightly, and I sighed.
"We're leaving," I mentally said to the rest of the group. With a few goodbyes and best wishes, I finally accepted Cyberpunk's mission and created the portal, along with Danmachi's portal, with the mission Bellatrix had received on her behalf.
The two enormous portals opened without hesitation. Bellatrix launched herself into hers, and GLaDOS didn't even hesitate as she stepped through ours. I followed immediately, forcing my horns and tail to hide inside me. I felt a slight discomfort; it had been a while since I'd needed to conceal my Baiser/devil features.
"Gooooood moorning, Night City! Yesterday's body-count lottery came to a nice low of just 12! Most of them were in a gang fight in Haywood, stopped by the cops! We have the NCPD to thank for their service! Paci— " I ignored the voice of the morning radio host.
And here we go, Night City.
