Just as Water at the Rear was about to retreat, he looked up—and his pupils shrank.

The man before him was still alive, wrapped within a protective energy shield, untouched by the explosion.

Fortunately, the powerful five-clawed metal dragon had been blown apart into countless fragments, which now floated nearby.

"There's still a chance."

Taking a deep breath, clenching his fists, his muscles bulged as Water at the Rear assumed a combat stance.

His magical power was nearly depleted, but his physical strength remained. With that alone, he was still a top-tier warrior.

From their earlier exchanges, he was certain that his raw physical might was greater than his opponent's.

That metal dragon must have consumed enormous magical energy to create, and after enduring his last massive explosion, surely the man couldn't summon another.

"Restore to Original!"

George waved his hand at the scattered fragments. A restoration spell activated—time itself rewound—and the five-clawed metal dragon once again stood whole at his side.

Restoration was a branch of time magic, and George had already attained considerable mastery over it. At this point, his skill allowed him to repair virtually anything.

Repairing the shattered treasure that was the metal dragon was little more than child's play.

In fact, he could just as easily have reassembled the fragments with his ability and reforged the dragon anew. But compared to that, the restoration spell was far simpler.

That was the advantage of having countless methods—different problems could be solved with ease from many angles.

Truthfully, if not for his desire to test his newly-learned forging techniques, dealing with someone like Water at the Rear would have required no effort. Even without using dragonization or his inner world, he could have killed him instantly.

He could have frozen time and struck him down while helpless.

He could have unleashed Fairy Law, instantly condemning an enemy weaker than himself.

Or he could have fired Fairy Shine at full output, erasing him outright.

"How… how is this possible?!"

Seeing the dragon he had exhausted all his strength to destroy restored so effortlessly, Water at the Rear nearly dropped his jaw in disbelief.

But as a knight, surrender was not in his nature. With a furious roar, he charged forward and began grappling with the metal dragon directly.

"This guy really is stubborn."

George sighed as he watched Water at the Rear trade blows with the massive dragon. Before long, the man's body was covered in blood, yet he still fought on.

If their positions were reversed, George thought, he would have retreated immediately and come back only when he had the advantage—or brought reinforcements for a group assault.

"Still, his physical strength is remarkable. It may be worth studying later."

After a fierce struggle, Water at the Rear once again managed to smash the dragon apart with sheer physical force. But he himself was left gravely wounded, barely able to stand.

"Restore to Original."

George lifted his hand again, and the five-clawed dragon was instantly restored to perfect form.

"Fuck!"

At this, Water at the Rear finally broke. He cursed aloud, then collapsed unconscious from the shock.

"Such poor endurance."

George chuckled, and with a wave of his hand, stored the unconscious man within his personal world.

Later, after fully mastering the hundred thousand grimoires, he planned to extract the angelic scripts and saintly worship power from Water at the Rear, hoping to further enhance his own physical body.

"Restore to Original!"

Another gesture, and the dragon soared back to the river's center, transforming once more into the great bridge.

Whether the spell restored the dragon or the bridge depended entirely on how he manipulated time. Rewinding just a little further naturally brought the bridge back.

With a flicker of movement, George teleported back to his secluded chamber. He did not immediately go after the other members of God's Right Seat. Instead, he first began probing Water at the Rear's memories.

The intelligence Aleister had provided was far from complete. To fully understand God's Right Seat, he would need to scour the man's mind directly.

Water at the Rear was not their leader. That role belonged to Fire at the Right.

This meant that Fire at the Right's power likely surpassed even his.

Given that Water at the Rear possessed the rare dual nature of Saint and Holy Mother, his leader must be even closer to Aleister's level. Out of caution, George decided to study the memories first before making his next move.

"This man has certainly lived an eventful life."

After combing through the memories, George understood the true reasons Fire at the Right sought both the hundred thousand grimoires and Imagine Breaker.

Water at the Rear had not originally belonged to Roman Catholicism.

He had been a knight of the British Royal Order. But in order to save his beloved third princess, he abandoned his post and wandered as a mercenary before eventually joining God's Right Seat.

His true purpose in joining had been to protect Britain from the outside.

As for Fire at the Right, his strength was indeed greater. In addition to inheriting the fire powers of the Archangel Michael, he also possessed the Holy Right from Christian mythology.

If fully unleashed, that divine hand could easily shatter planets.

Water at the Rear had come to Academy City on Fire at the Right's orders—to gather Imagine Breaker and the hundred thousand grimoires—because Fire at the Right claimed that with those, the true power of the Holy Right could finally be unlocked.

His stated goal was to correct the inequalities of the world, to prevent tragedies born from improbable coincidences, and to bring lasting peace and happiness to all.

"But if it's peace and happiness you seek, why start a Third World War?"

What Aleister had said about Fire at the Right differed greatly from what he had told Water at the Rear. Either Aleister was lying, or Fire at the Right was.

George leaned toward the latter. Aleister knew his strength and would not risk being caught in a lie so easily.

Water at the Rear, on the other hand, was clearly a hard-headed knight—being deceived fit his character.

"I should see for myself just what this so-called Holy Right is capable of."

From the memories, George judged that Fire at the Right would not be his match—even with the complete Holy Right.

Shattering a planet sounded impressive, but it was hardly the same as destroying the universe.

And since George had no intention of letting him acquire either Imagine Breaker or the grimoires, Fire at the Right could never wield the Holy Right to its full extent.

With a shimmer, George instantly teleported to the headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church—the grand St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City.

"Well, this is amusing. Looks like the Church is already tearing itself apart."

Sweeping his spiritual senses across the cathedral, George's face showed genuine surprise.

Inside, he saw Fire at the Right, leader of God's Right Seat, locked in battle with the Pope himself—apparently intent on killing him and seizing supreme authority over the Church.

"Dog eat dog. Let's see how this plays out."

Rather than intervene, George simply watched from above with keen interest.

"It seems this old Pope still has some fight in him."
