"George, I've noticed that humans usually marry very early. Most of them already have children before the age of twenty."

Riding on the back of the great antlered deer, Lucian turned to George with a probing question:

"There are so many human and elven girls in the academy who admire and like you. Have you ever thought about marrying one of them? Do you prefer humans or elves?"

"Humans marry early because their lifespans are short. But since I've cultivated magic, my lifespan has become just as long as that of the elves, so I don't plan on getting married for now.

As for whether I prefer elves or humans? Honestly, I think they're about the same."

George, seated on his metallic qilin formed through mimicry magic, replied absentmindedly while admiring the scenery along the road.

Marriage was something he had never seriously considered.

After defeating Morgoth, he still needed to travel to Valinor to learn the secrets of world creation from the gods. Where would he ever find the time to waste on marriage and raising children?

Besides, this was only one of his avatars. In the future, he had to focus on merging all of his avatars with his true body to ascend to the level of the multiverse.

When each avatar reached the rank of a single-universe entity, it meant every one of them already carried a complete miniature world within.

If, one day, he could merge those avatars into his true body, then all those small worlds would fuse together as well, forming countless worlds.

In principle, this was much like how a single-universe entity evolved into multiple universes, ultimately advancing into a multiverse being.

Of course, the method he was using was a shortcut, a clever trick to speed up the process.

Otherwise, relying solely on his own cultivation to reach multiverse level would take an unimaginable amount of time.

Unless he followed Dormammu's path and devoured other universes to strengthen his own dimension.

But that suicidal method was something he would never consider.

Eventually, this avatar would inevitably have to leave this world and return to the true body. If he married, then he would have to take his partner with him.

That wasn't impossible. After all, if he could leave, then naturally, he could return at any time as well.

The real problem was: if this avatar got married, then what about the others?

Should the avatars in other worlds also marry?

And if they had children, what would happen when all the avatars eventually fused? Wouldn't that become a serious mess to deal with?

Unless, of course, they never met.

Thinking carefully, by the time he became a multiverse being, he would already have many small worlds. As long as each wife lived in her own world, they would never meet, and then there would be no conflict.

He wasn't exactly a man of strict devotion. With the vastness of all realms, it was impossible for him to only choose one partner.

If, in the future, his strength was truly great enough to protect himself, his family, and his friends, then taking multiple wives and fathering many children didn't seem like such a bad idea.

With great power comes great responsibility.

He couldn't allow the George family line to end with his generation.

Although neither his body in the main world nor in his avatars was the same as his previous life, his spirit remained unchanged.

He was still himself, and his children would still be the children of the George family.

As for the choice between elves and humans—under the same conditions, he would naturally choose elves. Elves were undeniably more beautiful than humans, a fact no one could deny.

However, if he encountered an interesting soul, appearance alone wouldn't matter as much.

And appearance was something easily changed with his current abilities.

By enhancing physical strength and altering bodily functions, appearance could be improved from the root.

He could even inject special genes, like Mystique's, to grant shapeshifting powers, allowing someone to take any form they wished.

Or, with magical talent, one could simply learn transformation spells to alter their looks.

If he really wanted to take things further, he could directly craft a perfect body and help someone replace their old one—it was not difficult for him.

"Longevity doesn't necessarily conflict with marriage. Many of us elves also marry young.

And I really think you should choose an elf. Your lifespan matches ours, but if you married a human, by the time you still lived on, your wife would already…"

Lucian hinted suggestively.

George nodded.

"That's true."

In truth, he was only humoring her. Human lifespans were short, but if one became his wife, her lifespan would no longer remain so limited.

"The main reason is that I want to devote more of my time to studying magic."

"Then just find an elven woman who can study magic together with you."

Lucian's eyes burned with anticipation as she gazed at him. George froze for a moment before replying:

"You don't mean… yourself, do you?"

"Of course I do, George. Don't you think I'm beautiful? Don't you like me?"

Lucian blinked innocently.

George sighed, covering his forehead with a helpless smile.

"Lucian, you are very beautiful—truly the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. It's not that I dislike you.

But are you really sure you want to marry me because you love me, and not simply because you want to keep hearing the stories I tell?"

Though Lucian had lived for three thousand four hundred and fifty-six years, she had always remained within the kingdom of the Grey Elves. Her thoughts were simple and pure.

In some ways, she was not particularly mature, especially in her understanding of love.

George possessed psychic powers, allowing him to sense that Lucian did indeed like him. But it was only affection—many women felt that way toward him.

Not only students and teachers from the academy of this world, but even Hermione and Ginny from the Harry Potter world, Black Widow from the Marvel main world, the female mages from Fairy Tail, and countless others.

But such affection was not love, nor was it enough for marriage.

Lucian's fondness for him likely came mostly from the stories he told. Wanting to marry him was probably just her way of ensuring that she could keep hearing new and interesting stories forever.

It was not true love.

"Well… I think you're wonderful. And yes, I do want to keep hearing your stories. But that doesn't conflict with marriage.

If I married you, I'd be your wife, studying magic with you, listening to your stories every day. Our lives would never grow boring."

Lucian thought about it carefully before answering.

George only shook his head.

"You should really think about it again. Even if we only stay as friends, if you like, I'll still keep telling you those stories."

With that, he ended the conversation, closing his eyes to rest while his mind worked to aid his other avatars in researching new magic.

Seeing his reaction, Lucian guided her great deer over to Galadriel's side.

With a face full of curiosity, Galadriel asked eagerly:

"Well? Well? Did he agree?"

"No…"

Lucian's expression was tinged with disappointment.

Galadriel's eyes widened in disbelief.

"Impossible! There's no man in this world who could refuse you!"

"He said…"

Lucian recounted her entire conversation with George.

Galadriel listened intently, thought for a while, then leaned close to whisper something in Lucian's ear. Lucian's face instantly flushed bright red as she stammered:

"Ah… th-that's not really proper, is it?"

"What's improper about it? If you're going to marry him anyway, it's only a matter of time."

Patting her chest with confidence, Galadriel declared:

"Trust me, I've secretly watched this kind of thing many times. Just those few positions—simple, and guaranteed to win him over."
