One of the core abilities of a Sequence 7 Magician is the manipulation of flames within a thirty-meter radius. They can directly ignite objects within this range or "summon" streams of fire out of thin air.

Through George's research, he had already learned to utilize this pyrotechnic ability to cast fire magic from other worlds. For instance, he was no longer limited to summoning ordinary fire; he could now convert its properties into Fiendfyre—a cursed flame with significantly greater destructive power from the Wizarding World.

Alternatively, he could manifest the Samadhi True Fire from the world of Under One Person, which specifically targets and attacks the soul. He could even replicate the Dragon Fire of the Dragon Race or the God-Slayer Flames from the world of Fairy Tail, the latter of which granted additional damage bonuses against divine beings.

The more he studied the laws of this world, the more abilities he could convert. It was much like how he had previously transformed spells from the Harry Potter universe into those from Fairy Tail. Once he thoroughly deciphered the nature of spirituality and Beyonder energy, he could potentially convert all the energy within his body into spirituality, drastically enhancing the occult abilities of his corresponding Sequence.

Ultimately, it was a matter of time. Given enough time, his reservoir of knowledge, and his profound understanding of universal laws, anything was possible.

"Appearing at a Beyonder market looking like this... isn't it a bit too eye-catching?"

George hopped down from his crib and examined himself in the mirror, eventually shaking his head. "I still need to disguise myself a bit."

He rummaged through the wardrobe and found a small winter baby cloak his mother had bought for him in advance. He draped it over his shoulders and took a black silk scarf, tying it around his face until only two small eyes were visible.

"Better than nothing, I suppose."

Returning to the mirror for another look, George nodded. No matter how he tried to hide it, this tiny body was inherently conspicuous. However, at the very least, his features were obscured. People wouldn't immediately realize he was a six-month-old infant; they would more likely assume he was a naturally frail, stunted child or perhaps a dwarf.

Even if someone harbored suspicions, it didn't matter much to him. His meager attempt at a disguise was intended to deflect the attention of ordinary people, not to hide from Beyonders—especially those from the Churches.

The most powerful Beyonder forces in this world were the Churches of the Seven Gods, but the Seven Gods themselves had not descended upon the mortal realm for a very long time. According to his deductions, he guessed that the seven deities on high were likely occupied with warding off the prying Evil Gods from the cosmos, making it impossible for them to descend easily.

Consequently, the most powerful Beyonders in the world were, at most, Sequence 1 or Sequence 2. Even if George didn't utilize his internal energy and relied solely on his physical body, he possessed enough power to protect himself.

Furthermore, if he wanted to uncover the secrets of this world and acquire its occult knowledge as quickly as possible, contacting the Churches was actually a viable option. As long as he didn't tap into his own foreign energy reserves, it was impossible for the Seven Gods to discover that he hailed from another world.

In truth, he had already come into contact with the Nighthawks back at the warehouse. Since "Blackie" often wandered across the rooftops of Tingen City, it was possible the Seven Gods had already noticed him. However, because he hadn't displayed any overwhelming power, even if the Gods had seen him, they likely found him merely "odd" and wouldn't pay him much mind. After all, they had plenty of their own affairs to manage.

Perhaps it was also because they couldn't determine his origins that they chose to remain observant rather than take action. Since no high-level experts had been sent to capture him after all this time, it suggested the situation wasn't dire.

"Flaming Jump!"

Once his disguise was set, he grabbed the remaining cash he had looted from the "Suitcase" Clown murderer and vanished into a burst of flames.

Flaming Jump was another ability of the Magician. Within a thirty-meter range, the user could blink between existing fires or "seeds" of fire they had planted, effectively achieving a form of short-range teleportation. This ability depended entirely on the presence of flames or combustible materials.

During the moment of the "jump," the user was immune to ordinary fire, even if the temperature was slightly elevated. However, once the state ended, they were just as susceptible to burns or death by fire as anyone else. Additionally, high-temperature air did not count as a medium for the "jump."

After some study, George had slightly modified and optimized this ability, enhancing the range of the blink.

He first conjured a small puff of flame a hundred meters up in the sky. Relying on Flaming Jump, he teleported to that height, and then continued to manifest flames successively in the direction he wanted to go, performing a series of continuous jumps.

This allowed him to achieve an effect similar to long-distance teleportation, and it was difficult for ordinary people to spot him. Of course, this was a feat only he could accomplish. An ordinary Magician could never chain the ability like this; their body simply wouldn't be able to withstand the burden of dozens or hundreds of consecutive Flaming Jumps. Only someone like George could ignore such physical tolls and operate in this manner.

Since it was dusk and not yet dark, there were still many pedestrians on the streets. If he had traveled by leaping across rooftops, he would have been easily spotted.

After several hundred continuous jumps, George arrived at the North Borough's pier district. The underground Beyonder trade market of Tingen City was located here, inside a place called the "Evil Dragon Bar."

The bar owner's name was Swain, a former captain of the "Punishers"—the Beyonder organization of the Church of the Lord of Storms. He was a Sequence 8 "Melee Scholar" (formerly "Barbarian"). Fearing the risk of losing control, he had never dared to consume the Sequence 7 potion. Upon retirement, he opened the Evil Dragon Bar to provide a venue and protection for Beyonder transactions in Tingen, charging a fee of one-twentieth of every trade.

This was all information the Clown murderer had gathered while in Tingen. It wasn't hard to understand. Beyonder transactions were inevitable; rather than letting wild Beyonders trade in the shadows, it was better to let a retired Church official organize it. If any problems arose, they could be contained immediately. It was the same logic as having Knockturn Alley exist alongside Diagon Alley.

Moreover, it wasn't just Beyonders who frequented the market. Many ordinary mysticism enthusiasts would come to browse. Though they didn't truly understand the Beyonder world, it didn't stop them from spending money. Occasionally, the materials held by these ordinary people proved useful to actual Beyonders.

"Oh? There are Beyonders fighting."

Just as George emerged from a Flaming Jump into a small alley, preparing to cross the street to the Evil Dragon Bar, his ears twitched and he came to a halt.

"Let's go have a look."

With a curious mindset, he turned into a ball of fire and vanished, reappearing atop a pillar on the actual docks over a hundred meters away.

Below him, on a cargo ship, five Beyonders were currently surrounding and attacking a scale-covered monster. One of them was a familiar face—the young man among the six Nighthawks from the warehouse, the one who possessed a unique, independent space-like ability.

Eavesdropping on the conversation below, George quickly grasped the situation. The monster wasn't a "true" monster, but rather a member of the Punishers from the Church of the Lord of Storms. He had lost control and mutated into a mindless beast that killed by instinct.

To prevent the creature from escaping the docks and harming civilians, the former Punisher captain, Swain, had led one current Punisher and enlisted the help of two Nighthawks who happened to be buying materials at the bar to execute the beast on the spot.

"The Beyonders who seek power in this world really have it rough," George couldn't help but sigh.
