"Little one, I am the Eternal Genie of the Lamp. I can help you achieve any wish you desire, even if it is to become a True God..."

The golden figure didn't overthink things, habitually beginning his routine of seduction and trickery. What benefit was there for him to kill the owner of the lamp? In truth, there was none. It wouldn't make him stronger, nor would it allow him to return to the starry cosmos or escape the seal.

He did it simply because he had been imprisoned for too long. His mind had become twisted; he just wanted a bit of fun. Seeing a master of the lamp make a wish under his temptation, only to end up as a distorted monster, always put him in an excellent mood.

"If I wish for all of your spiritual energy to be mine, and for the Beyonder characteristics within the lamp to belong to me as well—can you grant that?" George asked, a thin smile playing on his lips.

The golden figure stiffened for a moment. Then, his eyes darted around as he replied, "If that is what you require, then of course I can."

"Oh? Then I make that wish. Grant it immediately." George sat down on the ground, watching the golden figure intently, curious to see how this cunning genie would twist the request.

A grotesque smile spread across the golden figure's face. "As long as I pull you into the lamp and merge you with my being, won't my spiritual energy be your spiritual energy? Won't the lamp's characteristics be yours as well?"

With those words, the lamp erupted in a dazzling golden light that washed over George. It sought to melt his physical body and siphon away his soul.

However, as the light hit George, it failed to dissolve his flesh or even nudge his soul.

"How is this possible?" The genie's expression shifted drastically. Even a Sequence 1 could not resist the sheer power unleashed by the lamp when granting a wish, yet this man was a mere Sequence 5.

"Truly a slippery fellow. No need for you to help me realize my wish—I'll do it myself."

George stood up. A massive surge of mana erupted from within him, shattering the golden light into dust. Within his own universe, he had no need for concealment; he could exert his full, unfettered power.

"This... such terrifying power!" The golden figure was stunned by the energy George was radiating. Though he couldn't identify which sequence this energy belonged to, its sheer magnitude was more frightening than his own state at his peak. It gave him the faint, haunting feeling of facing that Celestial Worthy once again.

"Even a True God cannot destroy the lamp. You are so strong; why don't we strike a deal? I possess a wealth of intelligence you need."

"No thanks. I can take it directly from your mind."

The corners of George's mouth quirked up. With a wave of his hand, chains manifested from the very laws of the universe, binding the lamp tightly. He pulled them taut in all directions.

"Shatter!"

As he clenched his fist, the chains of universal law snapped tight. The lamp exploded with a thunderous boom, reduced to countless fragments.

"I am finally free!"

With the lamp destroyed, the golden figure was liberated. He immediately tried to flee the planet, but the moment he broke through the atmosphere, he froze in place.

"What... what is wrong with this universe?"

There was no barrier of the Original Creator above the planet. Outside, there was no sun or moon, no spiritual energy, and no sign of the Mother Goddess or other Outer Deities watching hungrily. There was only a void—a total, absolute nothingness.

"Seal!"

At that moment, George's colossal face manifested within the endless void. The chains of universal law struck again.

"AAAGH!"

With a wretched scream, the golden phantom was bound, all his abilities suppressed. His memories and spiritual energy were forcibly extracted by the chains and funneled into George's body.

"Ah..."

George let out a sound as well, though it wasn't a scream of pain. It was a sigh of profound comfort as he devoured and absorbed the massive influx of spiritual energy.

Five hours later, the golden phantom had completely dissipated. Or rather, it hadn't vanished entirely; the powerful essence of its soul remained, but its consciousness and intelligence had been thoroughly wiped clean.

"Disperse!"

George waved his hand again. The potent soul essence was shattered, turning into a shower of meteors that fell upon the planet of his world. Instantly, within the primitive ecosystem, countless intelligent lifeforms began to take root and be born.

"An evil god is an evil god after all. If he'd had a slightly more functional brain, he might have been unsealed long ago."

Shaking his head, George left his inner world. By reading the genie's memories, he confirmed that the entity's identity was indeed extraordinary.

He was the "Son of Chaos"—effectively the third child of the Original Creator, the younger brother of the Mother Goddess of Depravity and the Mother Tree of Desire, and the uncle or elder brother to Great Old Ones like the Indefinable Mist. He possessed the powerful Sefirah, Nation of Disorder, and three pathways: Black Emperor, Justiciar, and Chaos (Broker).

When the Original Creator stirred, the Nation of Disorder was forcibly pulled to Earth. To reclaim his Sefirah, the Son of Chaos used a loophole in the barrier to sneak onto the planet. Unfortunately, instead of getting his Sefirah back, he was swindled out of everything by the Celestial Worthy. He lost his characteristics and had his consciousness sealed into the lamp, becoming one of the Worthy's Sealed Artifacts.

In George's view, if this fellow had been even slightly sincere over the millennia—finding a reliable lamp owner and helping them grow strong—he could have been sent back into the cosmos and freed from the lamp long ago. Every pathway, upon reaching Sequence 1, has the strength to leave Earth for the stars. By Sequence 0, a deity can use their Divine Kingdom to lead their believers to a new planet. This was exactly why Roselle, upon learning the truth of the apocalypse, was so desperate to reach Sequence 0.

Of course, it wasn't truly that simple, as the Outer Deities were always watching. Abandoning Earth—a planet protected by the Original Creator's barrier—meant risking being surrounded and devoured by those entities. The Seven Gods didn't run away with their followers; they used their Divine Kingdoms to stabilize the barrier precisely because they knew that if they couldn't win the apocalypse, there was nowhere to hide.

"Now, my spiritual energy is no longer inferior to that of a True God!"

Back in his home in Backlund, George felt the spiritual energy coursing through him and smiled. Though the Son of Chaos was in a severely diminished state and lacked his characteristics, his fundamental essence was so high that the remnant energy was no less than that of an average True God. By devouring it, George had reached that same divine level.

For an ordinary Sequence 5, having this much energy would still leave them at Sequence 5, unable to exert true divine power. But George was different. The only thing that had ever limited him was the quantity of spiritual energy in his tank. Now that the tank was full, his converted magic would be just as potent as the strikes of a god.
