"Young man, Your Blaziken is really strong, did you really just become a trainer this year?"
Mr.Moore really admires trainers like Kaizo, on top of it this Blaziken was trained very well.
"Yes, I just started my journey this year. In addition, I have a request. I have 2 Elite level pokemons, so, I would like to have my next two battles with Elite level pokemons."
Kaizo's eyes were full of battle intent, he wanted to defeat Mr.Moore as soon as possible and get his Diamond Chest. He doesn't know what good thing he may get from it, but he is definitely looking forward to it.
"2 Elite Pokemons? Are you really a Rookie trainer?"
Mr.Moore opened his mouth in surprise, thinking that he might have heard it wrong. Flannery on the sidelines thought it was impossible. She doesn't even have a Quasi-Elite level pokemon, yet here's a boy just the same age as her or a bit older than her possessing 2 Elite level pokemons.
"Yes, I am indeed this year's Rookie trainer, but I've had my first since last 16 months."
Kaizo replied proudly.
"It turns out that you got it earlier, Wait, you actually trained a pokemon into reaching Elite level in 16 months!"
With admiration in his eyes, he compared Kaizo with his granddaughter, If Kaizo had raised his pokemon from a young age, then this achievement would have been nothing, but he actually trained and Elite level pokemon in just 16 months.
"Well, since you want an Elite level fight, then come on out Ninetails."
Mr.Moore took out another pokeball and threw it. A large Ninetails, came out and stood elegantly on the battlefield.

Strength: Elite[Lv-64]
Qualification: Elite
"Come out, Gyarados. It's time to show your strength."
The moment, Gyarados appeared on the battlefield, he let out a huge majestic roar.
" A very strong Gyarados. It looks like we have a tough fight ahead. Set the stage Ninetails. Use Sunny Day."
Ninetails barks, and the arena is bathed in a golden glow. Harsh sunlight floods the field.
"Gyarados, Dragon Dance."
Gyarados coils in place, spinning into the air as red energy builds around it. It's attack and speed rise as a response. Mr.Moore nartows his eyes-an early boost is dangerous.
"Classic, Let's clip it's wings. Will-O-Wisp."
Ninetails fires and eerie blue flames. The attack lands cleanly, as Gyarados winces in pain as Mr.Moore smiles.
Kaizo:"Expected it. Time to pivot. Substitute."
Gyarados hunkers downward and creates a substitute using a part of his health, and a translucent copy takes its place.
"Ninetails, Energy Ball, target the copy!"
"Not bad, but we're not done yet. Dragon Dance, again."
Gyarados glows red once more. It's attack and speed have doubled but it's still hurting from the previous burn.
"Turn up the heat, Flamethrower."
In the harsh din, Flamethrower becomes even more devastating and Gyarados who was hurting from the burn was unable to dodge, with his health now quite low.
"Rest."
Gyarados glows and falls asleep, fully restoring his health, and also getting his burn removed.
"There playing the long game. Ninetails use Nasty Plot."
Ninetails smirks, it's eyes glowing as it sharply boosts it's special attack.
"Again Ninetails use Nasty Plot."
Mr.Moore gambled on Gyarados not waking up and decided to up his attack power and then defeat Gyarados in 1 move. The tension was mounting, a single hit and then the game would be over.
"Now end this, Solarbeam."
With no charging required, Ninetails fires a concentrated beam of Solar Energy, with Gyarados waking up just in time.
"Now, use Protect."
The Solarbeam slammed into the protective barrier, which completely blocked the incoming attack.
"Now the playing field is even."
"Not quite, Ninetails, Energy Ball, keep up the pressure."
"Gyarados, Waterfall."
Gyarados lunges through the attack, as Energy Ball hits Gyarados first, who manages to survive, then
BAM. Waterfall lands, even though without the sun, Waterfall can't defeat the pokemon in 1 hit, but the sheer momentum and power breaks through and completely knocks out Ninetails.
"Very good, young man. I didn't expect you to train such a strong Gyarados and that it could even defeat my Ninetails."
Mr.Moore said with admiration clear in his voice. More and more he feels that Kaizo is a very good young man. If only his granddaughter could learn a thing or two from him.
"Thanks, Mr.Moore. let's start the final fight."
Kaizo looked at Gyarados, although he was seriously injured, he still had the strength left to fight. Coupled with his Intimidate ability, his attack power should have increased even further. As long as he is steady, Gyarados should be able to consume the stamina of the next pokemon, and he should have a huge advantage in his last fight.
"Now all depends on you, Typhlosion."
Mr.Moore sent out his final pokemon, Photo region's starter pokemons final evolution. A very strong pokemon.
Name: Typhlosion
Strength: Elite[Lv-68]
Qualification:Elite
Kaizo frowned, this guy looked honest, but he directly sent out his Ace. This is an Elite level pinnacle pokemon. Using your Ace to beat up a Rookie is a bit too much. He didn't plan to use Mega Evolution, but perhaps, now only Mega Aggron can win him this battle. Mr.Moore noticed Kaizo's strange eyes and felt a bit embarrassed. He will never admit it out loud, that just because his Ninetails was defeated by a Rookie, that he wanted to defeat him and keep his prestige.
The Gym was quiet except for the faint hum of the overhead lights and the steady dripping of water from somewhere in the far corner. The polished stone floor had already been scorched and cracked from the earlier rounds. Kaizo's Gyarados hovered low over the battlefield, it's large serpentine body sagging with exhaustion. It had just brought down Mr.Moore's Ninetails, but the battle had cost it dearly, it's scales were scuffed, breath ragged, and the tip of it's tail twitched with fatigue.
Then, as Kaizo's voice sounded, the battle began in earnest.
"Gyarados, Aqua Tail."
Gyarados lunges forward, swinging it's tail in a wide arc. The water wrapped around it shimmered under the gym lights as it came crashing down towards Typhlosion.
"Eruption, Typhlosion."
Typhlosion planted it's feet, flames erupting outward in a massive blast. The heatwave hit Gyarados before it's tail could even be connected. Steam exploded off it's scales, but the Aqua Tail struck home, slamming Typhlosion back several feet. Typhlosion shook itself, flames flaring even more brightly.
"Flame Charge!" Moore commanded.
The fire type became a streak of orange light, darting forward and slamming into Gyarados mid section. The impact made the great serpent recoil with a pained roar.
"Hydro Pump."
Gyarados unleashed a torrent of water at close range, catching Typhlosion head on. Steam hissed violently where water met fire, swallowing both pokemon in a choking cloud. Through the fog, Moore's voice came sharp.
"Solarbeam"
A green glow flared inside the cloud, then a concentrated beam of light speared through the mist, striking Gyarados square in the chest. The blast hurled the dragon backward, it's body crashing to the floor with a ground shaking thud.
Kaizo gritted his teeth and ordered.
"One last Aqua Tail."
Gyarados pushed itself up, tail glowing once again, but it was too slow.
"Wild charge, Typhlosion!" Moore called.
Electricity surged across Typhlosion's body, before it lunged forward in a blue, ramming into Gyarados with a cacle of power. The serpent collapsed instantly, the fight leaving it's body.
"Gyarados is unable to battle. Trainer please send out your last pokemon."
Kaizo recalled Gyarados back into his pokeball. He took a slow breadth and reached for his strongest pokemon.
"Time to cool down the flames. Aggron, let's go."
The massive steel pokemon emerged with a thunderous stomp, claws digging into the floor. It's horned head lowered as it glared across the field at Typhlosion, who answered with a low, rumbling growl.
"Earthquake, Aggron." Kaizo ordered without hesitation.
Aggron slammed both feet into the floor, and the stone cracked like thin ice, shockwaves racing across the battlefield and knocking Typhlosion off it's feet.
"Flamethrower." Moore retaliated. Typhlosion rolled to it's feet, spewing a concentrated jet of flame. The fire engulfed Aggron, but it did little more than blacked it's armor.
"Iron tail, Aggron."
Aggron's tail shimmered silver before whipping around with devastating force, slamming into Typhlosion's side. The fire type was thrown across the field, skidding to a stop.
"Come on, Typhlosion. Focus blast."
A sphere of concentrated fighting type energy erupted from Typhlosion's claws, slamming into Aggron's chest. Kaizo felt a shockwave through his boots as Aggron staggered, a shallow dent forming in it's armor.
Moore smirked faintly, "Maybe, even steel has its weak points."
Kaizo narrowed his eyes, and opened his eyes and shouted, "Time to end this, Aggron, in response to our bond, Bond Evolution!"
Don't get him wrong, Aggron can't further evolve like Greninja, he's just fooling everybody, because he doesn't want anyone to know about Mega Evolution for a while. Fool everyone first for a while and collect a lot of Keystones and Megastones, to try and have a monopoly on them.
Kaizo's Key Stone flared with white light, which he hided by crossing his arms, resonated with the Aggronite embedded on Aggron's Tail. The energy surged around Aggron, plates reforging, spikes growing sharper. The light was blinding in the gym. Flannery froze mid-step, her eyes wide.
"What—What's happening?"
Moore's face broke from it's composure, eyes widening in genuine shock, "That's impossible....."
Elesa's breath got caught, "What did uou—"
She cut herself off, her gaze glued to Aggron's new, towering form. The light faded away, revealing Mega Aggron, armor denser, horn longer, it's very presence radiation raw, unstoppable power.

Type:Steel
Ability:Heavy Metal
Strength:Elite[Lv-70 Mega Evolution Power Up]
This is Mega Aggron complete strength after mega evolution. Flannery forgot everything for a second, "Gramps.... I've never seen anything like this."
Moore shook his head once, disbelief clear in his voice,
"Neither have I child. What is this?"
Moore felt a little confused, Aggron is already the last evolution stage of Aron, yet here is an Aggron which has evolved again.
"This is my trump card, one time I was surprised attacked by a group of poachers, and at that time we were very near to getting defeated by then. Only Aggron remained standing among my pokemons, it was at that moment when Aggron standing in front of me began to change, as his trainer, I could tell that somehow he and I became linked for for a while. I later confirmed that he evolved further due to our bond. So, I call it Bonds Phenomenon or Evolution. This special state doesn't last very long, it will revert to it's original form after a while, and it depends on my physical strength too."
Kaizo started to fool around.
"Bonds Evolution! It turns out that higher intimacy between trainers and their pokemon can also evolve them further, rather than just helping Eevee evolve. What a wonderful discovery you've made, Kaizo! Very well, you said that this form doesn't last very long, so let us complete aur battle. I'm very curious to how such a pokemon fights."
"Stone Edge" Kaizo snapped.
Shards of rocks burst upward toward Typhlosion. Moore recovered enough to command, "Dodge and use Flared Blitz."
Typhlosion weaved between the stones, body igniting as it slammed into Mega Aggron, only to be rebounded off the unyielding armor.
"Heavy Slam." Ordered Kaizo.
Mega Aggron leapt high, crashing down onto Typhlosion with crushing force. The floor cracked deeper under the impact.
"Sunny Day." Moore commanded sharply.
The Gym brightened, sunlight pouring in through the high windows.
"Eruption"
The wave of flame burst outward, the heat searing enough to make the aur waver. Even Elesa raised an arm to shield her face. When the fire cleared, Mega Aggron stool still. It's Armor glowed faintly from the heat, but it hadn't moved an inch.
"Earthquake again, Aggron."
The floor heaved, knocking Typhlosion off it's feet again. Typhlosion rose slowly, vebts blaring weakly.
"Focus Blast!" More barked.
The sphere of fighting type energy formed, but this time Kaizo and Aggron were ready.
"Stone Edge"
The rocks erupted from the ground, striking Typhlosion hard before it could fire. The Focus Blast went wide, smashing harmlessly into the wall.
"Finish it, Heavy Slam."
Mega Aggron surged forward, leapt and crashed down on Typhlosion with all of its weight. The fire type went still, flames extinguished.
Flannery raised her arm, still a little dazed,
"Typhlosion is unable to battle. Kaizo from Little root Town is the winner."
Moore recalled his partner slowly, still staring at Mega Aggron.
"That .... Form. That power. I've never seen such a transformation. Sure enough, Bonds Evolution, that's what it is called, right? It seems that maybe I should try it with my own pokemon too."
Although Moore regretted some of his actions, and debated over some of his orders, he wasn't in a bad mood due to his loss, on the contrary he appreciated new trainers like Kaizo who can surpass old people like him. Besides, it's not like he hasn't loss. Being a trainer is not just about winning or losing. On the contrary, it was Flannery who felt a little uncomfortable that her Grandpa's Ace lost against Kaizo.
Moore actually believed Kaizo's nonsense about Bonds! Flannery who had watched the battle became determined, that she must raise her camerupt and strive for Bonds Evolution too.
Kaizo didn't speak, just felt a little sorry for deceiving two good people.

He can't just ignore someone's past, and think that he can cure them, that's not his job, that's her father's job. He thinks of his second chance at life as a very precious opportunity, so sorry but sorry, he will live only for himself in this life. He doesn't think something like inner beauty or some bullshit, people don't notice inner beauty first.
That's why first impressions are so important, people take a look at you and decide whether you are a good person or not. People even read books according to their covers.

Nurse Joy took Kaizo's pokemons and left to treat them. Kaizo stood there, thinking of the Diamond Chest, he was really looking forward to his rewards. Though that needs to wait until his pokemons are healed.
