There are various type of magic and most use very different ways to achieve the result but they are acts that conjure up phenomenon or in some cases reject the rules of the world.

There is little to know about this magic but what we do know that it's a highly complex magic that is used to manipulate phenomenon beyond human understanding. The most famous case is the destruction of the kingdom of Babylon. The kingdom was suddenly destroyed over night. We do know that the kingdom uses complex and loss magic. Tons of spells and understanding of sigil magic was loss from that incident. It is said that the world hates the magic they use. At the moment research into this kingdom will have the "World's" wrath on the person and the very kingdom. For some reason the magic they use is hated and is feared. The act of turning things to the natural order.
A magic that gods give to there followers that enforces the rules of the world. On their behalf.
Difference between using the surrounding mana and yourself:
You can't shape the mana easily and you will mostly use it to help with long complex magic that takes time
Using the mana of your own has a more easier time of shapping
