We've reduced sedation to minimal levels—basically just pain management at this point. His body is doing exactly what it needs to do to heal."
"But he's not waking up," Zhou Yuxi said flatly.
"Not yet, no. But Miss Zhou, this is actually very normal for his type of injury. The brain has been through significant trauma. Even after the physical damage is repaired, it needs time to... reset, for lack of a better term. Think of it like rebooting a complex computer system. All the components are functional, but the system needs time to come back online properly."
"How much time?" Zhou Yuxi's voice cracked slightly.
