As the family descended deeper into the dungeon, a palpable tension filled the air. The staircase seemed to stretch endlessly, winding downward into the abyss. Each step echoed, bouncing off the narrow stone walls as they moved further away from the surface, the light above growing fainter with every passing moment. The faint hum of magic buzzed around them, and the Realm Lord could feel the pressure intensifying with each level they crossed.
They reached the last step, and a sudden shift in the air prickled at their senses.
"Something's not right," Selene murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.
Drakken's flames flickered in his eyes, but even he seemed uneasy. "I can feel it too. We're not alone anymore."
