Chapter 25 - 10th generation

[]Host it is time for the last time dilation[]

[]Are you ready?[]

"No"-Jack

[]It is just a formality host time dilation will now begin in 10 seconds[]

"I'm not surprised"-Jack

It was quite obvious the mood had dropped, with Jack having to face the uncomfortable truth that he would have millions or even billions who would die in his name. He would be a God to them even if he didn't want it and tried to fight it. Worship would shower him and sure some might not like him or rebel.

But when you know you have a creator you can interact with and be given help from not many would dare stand against them. The same for all candidates. Even if they don't survive while they still breathe they will have power no one else on earth has ever come close to having.

He may also be a bit overwhelmed that if he wins, there will be multiple billions of aliens who will have gotten to know more about him throughout the game. And the fact he now knows there are most likely thousands of other winners who have been around for possibly as long as the games have been waiting a plotting.

"Well, I know that I can't just be glum and down, I need to keep my head on me and survive this game"-Jack

[]Very good host[]

[]Time dilation beginning[]

[]10th generation reached[]

[]100th year out of the 100 years[]

For the last time, he moved forward as the world spun, and the Rixis moved around at incredible speed but only to Jack's eyes.

Eventually, it all slowed down, and Jack was back to staring at the forest once more as he looked to see what had changed.

He did have a small smile, noticing a patch of flowers that had grown in the place of the sister's body, so at least something nice came of it. It seemed that most things had stayed the same except for the fact they seemed to all have migrated closer to each other.

This was from the help of the skills Jack had chosen as you might forget, but unless they have a similar skill, they won't have tribes as fast or at all. There was a strange vibe floating around the Rixis as if they felt something was happening and it involved them all. It was the skill at work getting them ready to become the tribes they would join in the 11th generation and whoever was alive from the 10th would join them.

"Do you know how many tribes there will be?"-Jack

[]Well, with the forming of tribes comes the emergence of culture, traditions, rules, identity, benefits of a group, and more that comes with it[]

[]So there may be 5 large tribes or 11 small tribes it is up to them and if they want to be in a tribe some will not the chances just increase with the skill[]

"Why do you keep saying that?"-Jack

[]Saying what host?[]

"You keep saying the skill will increase. Are there no permanent effects?"-Jack

[]Good question host yes the skills earned through quests will mostly be increased but very rarely be permanent[]

[]Even outside the games, those who have permanent skills are all coveted and incredibly strong, and if they are up for auction, they can easily start galactic wars in which tens of millions will die[]

[]This is for the obvious if it's even only a permanent increase of a skill or craft an example could be being able to breathe underwater or being able to never have miss-carriages when your race gives birth those are both incredibly strong skills[]

[]But even if you get a skill to a hundred per cent, doing that alone would take thousands of years, and when you are a galactic kingdom or empire you aren't dealing with billions but multiple trillions of individuals who will slowly evolve that skill so getting a permanent boost is invaluable for saving time and allows them to focus on other things while also giving them an edge[]

[] Permanent boost skills are in your world terms like starting a game at level 1 and being given level 20 gear. It's not overwhelming but it's a big advantage and so certain races are prices for these skills they have at birth. Which is a big reason for the separation seen between natural and game-created races[]

"Can I get them?"-Jack

[]Yes, but they are hard to get and rare but could give you what you need to win the game[]

"Wouldn't that make you a target for those outside the game?"-Jack

[]Well, host if you managed to get the skill it wouldn't be shown even to the viewers and low-ranking game staff and also you will not need to worry. As a winner, the planet will be given 10-year protection put in place where the winners will not be touched no matter who may want to cause them harm.[]

"Glad to know I won't be killed straight away by a race plotting my demise"-Jack

"I feel like this is a slightly disappointing ending, isn't it? I mean, all they did was just move around a bit?"-Jack

[]Well, not everything happens every day host life isn't all action, and besides, we have already gone very fast considering how long it would have taken naturally[]

"So what is this just the calm period where everything is chill until the tribes come together then start hating each other for being slightly different?"-Jack

[]Indeed host[]

Jack decided to check over the Rixis one last time since he knew that once the 11th generation came, a new era for the Jackrixis would be ushered in. Also, the fact he would finally start the god dame game after waiting so long and can start being more involved in his race.

He just stood and watched, knowing that this way of life would soon end and another would begin, which would bring new challenges. But it wasn't necessarily a bad thing as at the end of the day, all things needed to evolve to survive and thrive in the universe.

"It was nice while it lasted"-Jack

[]Always is host[]
