Essentially, to kill a Realm Father was to kill innumerable beings, but some Realm Fathers are deserving of fates even worse than death; so was one to kill them, or not?
Even if some otherworldly creatures tended to focus on achieving the desires their mortal psyches once had, otherworldly creatures would've long transcended mortal thinking.
Mortals were innumerable anyway, so to kill a Realm Father was no issue.
