Two enormous pressures struck the entire floor. The walls initially held, but they gave way as the pressure became immense. Cracks appeared as the battle between Blood and the Mother Spider continued.
"Entertain me more."
He shot forward so fast that he was already about to deliver a blow to the Boss, but his attack was defended. Being too close, the retaliation came in the form of a punch to his stomach. The blow sent Blood crashing into a crater in the wall. Despite this and being staggered, he dodged the Boss's next attack.
"Crimson threads? Interesting, Soul's reflection..."
In front of her, Blood seemed to multiply and, without hesitation, unleash blows. However, they were mirages, and she would have to find the original among them. With agility, she created a whirlwind of thread, getting rid of the illusions, but where was the real one?
"Don't get distracted, spider."
Upon hearing the voice, she swiftly turned around, trying to block the incoming attack. However, before she could, she was hit by a kick from the air. This time, the Mother Spider was the one in a crater in the wall.
"Get up, it was just a kick."
"Heheheh..."
"Have you gone mad? Huh?"
Suddenly, blood trickled from his nose and eyes. His mind tried to understand the situation while the Mother Spider recovered from the attack.
"Damn you, the moment you punched me, you..."
"I poisoned you."
Even at a disadvantage, a smile could be seen on his face. He wiped the blood from his nose and prepared for the next round. At this moment, the Boss finally stood up, as if things weren't bad enough. A scream from the Mother caused several spider monsters the size of pigs to emerge from the cracks, one already going towards him. Despite this, without moving, the monster was killed, not by him, but by a shot from Ashia.
"Go on, Gachuti, Ghost and I have you covered."
His gaze went to the two standing after everything. However, this distraction was not forgiven by the Boss. Noticing his lapse, one of his arms was grabbed by her web and pulled towards her lower mouth. Nevertheless, close enough, the mandible was struck by a kick, closing the mouth and creating another opportunity to land a punch.
"This isn't how the fight will end."
Evidently nervous, a new clash of pressure began. On the other hand, Ghost and Ashia were dealing with the Spider Elites.
"Huh?"
"What was that?"
"I just got bitten."
"You what?"
Their gazes fixed on the monsters after realizing they were retreating. However, before their minds could process what was happening, Ashia was hit by Blood, who had this time lost the exchange. Yet, they were quick to recover, with Blood swiftly returning to the fight against the Mother Spider.
"Ashia, are you alright?"
"Yeah, yeah."
Ashia's gaze went to Blood's battle, seeing him being crushed by one of the Boss's legs. He quickly fired, piercing the leg, once again giving Blood an opportunity to retaliate with a punch.
"Fun... But let's bring this to an end now."
"I say the same, demon."
The Mother's hair turned crimson red, and a symbol emerged from Blood's back, transforming into two swords, which Blood grabbed. The tension only increased as two immense pressures grew, crushing the normal spider monsters and causing the elites to hide, while Ghost and Ashia retreated from the pressure.
"Royal blood."
"Imperial swords."
The two lunged into the final clash, and due to a lapse by the Mother Spider, her arm was cut off. However, she regenerated her arm thanks to her new crimson form.
"Regeneration, huh?"
"Tell me, demon, how will you kill me now?"
"A weakling would say just wait for your form to end, but I... I say I'll kill you even if you're immortal."
In the blink of an eye, the two were attacking each other again, with the Boss launching her crimson webs, which were cut through like butter. Finally, getting close to each other and like an easier target, the lower mouth shot a set of crimson threads. Despite this, he dodged and delivered a cut to the Boss's head.
"You fool, what is a head to someone who has tw... Huh?"
"Shut up."
Blood's sword was in the Boss's chest, while he wore a smile. In that long battle, there was a victor.
"Damn it, you got lucky, demon..."
