Chapter 680 - Chapter 678: Learning

Seimei opened his ninja tool pouch and retrieved a sealing scroll from within.

Spreading it out, he raised his hand, formed a seal, and shouted, "Release!"

Boom!

A puff of chakra smoke dispersed.

The "Seal" character on the scroll in front of him disappeared, replaced by two new scrolls and a book.

These were remnants left behind by Danzo.

Among them, one scroll contained the Four Symbols Seal, while the other detailed the Curse Seal of the Self.

The former was something Seimei had specifically sought to capture tailed beasts.

As for finding such a technique among Danzo's remnants, it didn't surprise him.

Why? Because the Reverse Four Symbols Seal that Danzo knew was clearly a derivative of the original Four Symbols Seal.

Thus, it was unsurprising to find this sealing technique in his collection.

By layering two Four Symbols Seals, a more powerful Eight Trigrams Seal could be formed—the very technique Minato Namikaze used to seal the Nine-Tails within Naruto.

Across the entire ninja world, this sealing technique was considered one of the best. Not only did it allow for adjustable access points and locks, but it was also exceedingly secure.

As for the latter seal, Seimei intended to learn it as a complementary study to deepen his understanding.

Then there was the book.

Rather than detailing a sealing technique, it recorded an S-rank forbidden jutsu: The Flying Thunder God Technique!

To be fair, Seimei already had Wind Release: Wings of the Wind, allowing him to traverse the vast ninja world with ease.

However, flying was still flying—no matter how fast, it required time to reach a destination.

The Flying Thunder God Technique was different.

It was a space-time ninjutsu.

As long as coordinates were set and chakra was sufficient, teleportation required no time at all.

If he could use this technique while capturing tailed beasts, it would greatly enhance his stealth.

Strictly speaking, this was also a preparation for his tailed beast capture efforts.

Looking at the two scrolls and the book before him, Seimei didn't waste any time. He immediately raised his hand, formed a seal, and cast the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique!

Boom!

Another puff of chakra smoke dispersed.

The area was suddenly filled with eleven clones.

Seimei turned to eight of them, assigning them as usual to practice the eight specific skills he had been cultivating.

Then, he faced the remaining three and handed them the two scrolls and the book, instructing each to study one item.

Indeed, although he had decided to learn these three techniques, he didn't need to do so personally. The shadow clones could handle it.

As for himself, he had something even more important to do.

Having completed this stage of enhancement, it was time to begin the next phase.

But before that, he needed to test the strengthening effects of the twice-improved Mystical Palm Technique on his current body.

Only by doing so could he better estimate the timing of his next transformation and make the most optimal plan.

With this thought, Seimei wasted no time. After dismissing the eleven shadow clones, he began using the Mystical Palm Technique to strengthen his body.

Time flew by, and an hour passed in the blink of an eye.

Seimei paused his training and carefully assessed his progress over the past hour.

In the end, he concluded that, at the current rate, it would take at least four more months for his body to reach the critical threshold for another transformation.

This was already the result of the twice-improved Mystical Palm Technique.

Without the improvements, it would have taken more than five months.

However, if his plans succeeded and he further enhanced the efficiency of the technique, the time required would be reduced.

If it shortened to three months, as with this current stage, it wouldn't be surprising.

With this conclusion in mind, Seimei felt reassured.

He then stopped thinking about it and instead dismissed the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique.

In an instant, all the clones training in the nearby forest and over the sea vanished, transforming into puffs of chakra that carried the training experience and memories from the past hour back to Seimei.

The sudden influx of information caused a slight frown on Seimei's face.

He quickly focused his mind and began processing the experiences and memories.

First came the memories of the initial eight shadow clones. Seimei was already accustomed to this, so he absorbed them quickly.

Then came the memories of the three subsequent shadow clones.

Over the past hour, these three had been studying new techniques.

As for the results... Seimei could only say it was a mixed bag.

Among them, two sealing techniques made significant progress due to the foundation laid by the "Object-Sealing Formation" and "Protective Seal." In just one hour, they were successfully imprinted onto his skill panel.

Although he hadn't fully mastered them yet, the progress bar was already about one-third complete. At this rate, he estimated it would take no more than two more hours to reach beginner proficiency and advance to Level 1.

However, the "Flying Thunder God Technique," renowned for being a difficult space-time ninjutsu to master, was progressing much more slowly.

In a mere hour, Seimei had only developed a comprehensive understanding of the training methods described in the book.

The next step would be to attempt actual practice.

As for when this technique could be imprinted onto the skill panel, Seimei wasn't sure yet.

However, with the enhanced spatial awareness gained from mastering the "Object-Sealing Formation," Seimei wasn't worried about failing to grasp the basics.

As long as he could reach the beginner level, achieving mastery would simply be a matter of time.

Thus, Seimei wasn't in much of a rush.

After spending a little more than a quarter-hour digesting the shadow clones' training experiences and memories from the past hour, converting them into proficiency for the corresponding skills, Seimei opened his eyes.

Without further delay, he raised his hands to form seals once again and cast the "Multi-Shadow Clone Technique," producing eleven new shadow clones.

Just like before, Seimei assigned each of them specific skills to train before sending them off.

As for himself, he also resumed training.

However, this time, there was no need to simply perform the "Healing Palm Technique" repeatedly. The testing phase was complete, so he alternated between it and the "Heart Reflection Technique" as part of his training routine.

Based on his current progress, in roughly three weeks, the evolution progress of his Sharingan would surpass the (40,000/50,000) threshold.

At that point, not only would his "Mental" attribute increase, but all abilities derived from his Mangekyo Sharingan would also improve.

He would then be one step closer to achieving the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.

If he could advance to the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, he would no longer have to worry about the threat of blindness.

Since awakening the Mangekyo Sharingan, he had used it frequently—not excessively, but certainly not sparingly.

Thanks to his extraordinary "Physique," he hadn't yet faced blindness, but as the saying goes, "A lack of foresight invites future trouble." Until he ascends to the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, he cannot feel at ease.

Thus, advancing as quickly as possible was the best course of action.

To that end, he didn't even have time to focus on the newly integrated Byakugan in his body.

There was no doubt that the Byakugan could also evolve. Although its evolutionary path wasn't as well-defined as the Sharingan's, it could indeed reach the level of the Tenseigan.

At that stage, its power would rival that of the Rinnegan.

The issue was that the Byakugan's evolutionary leap was far too vast for most people to achieve.

However, Seimei was different.

Judging by the progress bar on his skill panel (1/1000), it seemed he could divide the process into several stages.

This division would subtly reduce the difficulty.

As long as he found the right method, there was no doubt he could achieve his goal.

With these thoughts flashing through his mind, Seimei temporarily set them aside. He began alternating between the "Healing Palm Technique" and the "Heart Reflection Technique," strengthening his body while simultaneously advancing the evolution of his Sharingan.
