Various thoughts flashed through Seimei's mind. After pondering for a while, he decided not to dwell on them any longer.
After closing the panel, he once again formed hand seals and performed the Multi-Shadow Clone Technique, beginning a new round of training.
As for the 150,000 chakra points he saved daily after mastering Water Release: Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave, he decided not to allocate them just yet.
He planned to wait until this test was over before distributing them alongside the chakra he could extract from the Seven-Tails.
However…
Seimei did some calculations. Even now, he had already extracted over 600,000 chakra points from the Seven-Tails.
Adding this to the 1,016,000 chakra points he could naturally recover daily, his total chakra reserves had already surpassed 1.6 million points.
And this wasn't even his limit—he could very well break past 2 million.
Such a vast amount of chakra would be a tremendous waste if he used it solely on the few skills he was currently training.
Having always been mindful of efficiency, Seimei, despite no longer lacking chakra, still didn't want to be wasteful.
Thus, he decided to allocate part of the chakra to the four skills he had recently imprinted onto his panel.
To do so, he first needed to estimate how much chakra their training would require.
That way, he could distribute his chakra more effectively.
With this thought in mind, Seimei selected several of his shadow clones to train in Izanagi and Izanami, as well as Demonic Illusion: Mirror Heaven and Earth Change and Transcription Seal.
Well…
Saying he was "training" them all wasn't entirely accurate.
He could use shadow clones to practice Mirror Heaven and Earth Change and Transcription Seal, but Izanagi and Izanami were different.
Shadow clones simply couldn't perform these forbidden ocular techniques.
However, this didn't mean the clones were useless.
They could still analyze the principles behind the techniques and study the casting process, indirectly accumulating proficiency.
In fact, that was exactly how he had imprinted them onto his panel in the first place.
So, there was no need to worry about making progress.
That said, this method would undoubtedly be slower than training skills that could be practiced directly.
But he had no other choice. This was the best he could do for now.
Besides, no matter what, this method was still far faster than having his main body train the techniques personally.
More importantly, his main body simply didn't have the extra time to practice these two skills.
So for now, he had to trade chakra for efficiency.
Various thoughts flashed through Seimei's mind, but he quickly refocused. He dismissed the shadow clones in front of him and resumed his own training.
---
An hour passed in the blink of an eye.
On top of a massive boulder, Seimei paused his use of the Mind Reading Technique.
Glancing around the island, he saw his clones training at various distances. With a single thought, he dispelled the Multi-Shadow Clone Technique.
In an instant, all of the clones vanished, transforming into pure chakra and flooding his mind with an hour's worth of training experiences and memories.
Even though he had gone through this process multiple times today, the overwhelming influx of memories was still uncomfortable.
Frowning slightly, Seimei endured the discomfort, closed his eyes, and began sorting through the memories.
First, he processed the experiences of the clones who had trained in Flying Thunder God Technique, Demonic Illusion: Bringer-of-Darkness Technique, and Nirvana Temple Technique.
He quickly converted these memories into corresponding skill proficiency.
Next, he absorbed the experiences from the clones who had practiced Universal Seal of All Things, further refining this sealing technique.
Finally, he reviewed the training of Izanagi, Izanami, Mirror Heaven and Earth Change, and Transcription Seal.
Seimei carefully analyzed the entire training process of his clones, then compared it with the increase in proficiency displayed on his panel to calculate their chakra consumption.
Among them, Mirror Heaven and Earth Change and Transcription Seal were reasonable. The former required an average of 100 chakra points per proficiency point, while the latter needed 120.
Overall, both were within an acceptable range.
However, Izanagi and Izanami were a different story. Each of these techniques demanded a staggering 250 chakra points per proficiency point.
If that were the only issue, it wouldn't be so bad…
The real problem was that they progressed at an extremely slow pace—taking about two minutes to earn a single proficiency point.
This meant he couldn't simply dump chakra into them to speed up their growth.
It wasn't impossible, but the efficiency was so low that forcing it would result in massive waste.
Even with all the chakra he had, Seimei couldn't afford to be that reckless.
So, for now, he had to abandon that idea.
Based on his calculations, the optimal daily limit for these two ocular techniques was around 500 proficiency points each. Anything more would be inefficient.
But even at that rate, they would still consume over 120,000 chakra points each day—a combined total of 250,000 chakra points.
That was no small amount.
So, he'd have to make do with slower proficiency gains.
With this in mind, Seimei opened his eyes again.
After a brief rest, he picked up the sealed metal sphere containing the Seven-Tails.
Probing inside with his mental energy, he confirmed that the beast could still provide chakra. Without hesitation, he formed hand seals and performed Chakra Absorption Technique, drawing more of the creature's chakra.
One minute later, 60,000 chakra points acquired.
Putting down the sphere, he once again activated Multi-Shadow Clone Technique, creating over a hundred clones to continue training.
Time passed steadily.
The sun drifted lower, eventually sinking beneath the ocean horizon.
Night fell.
During Seimei's fifteenth chakra extraction session, he finally noticed a change in the Seven-Tails.
This time, something shifted—a balance had been broken, and its aura rapidly weakened.
Seimei estimated that he could extract chakra only two or three more times before the beast reached its limit.
If he continued beyond that point, it would start causing irreversible damage to the Seven-Tails, rendering it unable to provide chakra the next day.
Draining the beast dry wasn't an option.
Thus, Seimei had finally determined the Seven-Tails' daily chakra limit—1,000,000 points.
This was equivalent to about two-thirds of the creature's full chakra reserves.
That's right—the Seven-Tails had a total of around 1.5 million chakra points, roughly four times Seimei's base reserves.
At first, this result was hard to believe.
But after thinking it over, Seimei realized it made sense.
After all, aside from the Nine-Tails, the other Tailed Beasts could be suppressed by Kage-level experts in their respective villages.
Granted, these elite ninjas had the advantage of superior techniques, allowing them to outmaneuver the Tailed Beasts.
However, no matter how skillful they were, their chakra still had to be within a comparable range to be effective.
If the Tailed Beasts had too much chakra, no amount of technique would matter—they would simply overwhelm their opponents with brute force.
So, 1.5 million chakra points was a reasonable estimate. The other Tailed Beasts were likely in the same range.
Of course, the Nine-Tails was an exception…
After all, when the Sage of Six Paths divided the Ten-Tails into the Tailed Beasts, he did not split the chakra evenly—most of it went into the Nine-Tails.
So, the Nine-Tails was on a whole different level…
