The next day.
Early morning.
After finishing his morning routine, Seimei ate his fill, geared up, and performed the Shadow Clone Jutsu, summoning a shadow clone.
Seimei glanced at his clone and said directly, "I'm heading out. Just like before, stay in the village. If anything urgent comes up, notify me."
"Got it."
The shadow clone nodded briefly, giving a simple response.
Satisfied, Seimei was about to leave but suddenly remembered his decision from the previous day.
He stopped in his tracks, turned back, and added, "Almost forgot — in the next couple of days, find a chance to warn Uchiha Shisui not to let Uchiha Obito catch him off guard."
"Understood."
The clone's reply was as concise as ever.
Without saying anything more, Seimei confirmed there were no other matters before heading out of his courtyard.
He made his way to a secluded corner of the street, scanned the surroundings, and after confirming no one was nearby, he quickly formed hand seals and performed the Transformation Jutsu.
Poof!
With a puff of chakra smoke, Seimei's appearance changed into that of an ordinary Konoha ninja.
Blending into the early morning crowd, he followed the stream of villagers to the village gate and quietly left the village.
Why not simply use the Flying Thunder God Jutsu to teleport straight out from home?
Simple — to keep a low profile.
In the past, it wouldn't have mattered. The Uchiha clan district wasn't heavily monitored by the village's sensory barrier.
But now, everything had changed.
After Obito's recent chaos, both the village and the Uchiha clan had heightened their vigilance. The sensory barrier was being closely watched — possibly with both sides cooperating.
If Seimei repeatedly teleported through the barrier from home, once or twice could be blamed on Obito. But too many times would definitely raise suspicion.
To avoid unnecessary trouble, Seimei chose to leave the normal way before teleporting to his destination — a southern island in the Land of Fire.
The detour didn't take much time, so he didn't mind going the extra mile.
Once outside the village, Seimei stopped on a secluded path. He partially lifted the seal on his forehead — All-Encompassing Seal — and focused his chakra to activate his Byakugan, scanning the surroundings.
Confirming there were no observers, he sensed the Flying Thunder God marker on the distant island, formed the hand seals, and vanished in an instant.
The world around him shifted.
The next moment, Seimei reappeared on the familiar island.
Without letting his guard down, he quickly formed more seals and cast Wind Release: Wind Wings, sprouting wings of wind on his back and soaring into the sky.
From above, he scanned the island with his Byakugan, circling the perimeter to confirm there were no intruders within a ten-kilometer radius before descending.
Standing atop a massive rock, Seimei took a deep breath, the salty sea breeze filling his lungs.
He formed hand seals once more, casting Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu.
Poof!
Dozens of clones appeared, filling the area.
Without wasting time, Seimei methodically divided them into groups, assigning each their training tasks.
Once everything was set, he sat cross-legged and began his own training.
He alternated between Mystical Palm Technique and Mind Reflection Jutsu, strengthening his body while refining his Sharingan's evolution.
It was a familiar, monotonous routine — but Seimei thrived in it.

Two days passed in the blink of an eye.
As usual, Seimei dispelled all his shadow clones, absorbing their training experiences and converting them into proficiency points.
This time, his Izanagi and Izanami skills had leveled up.
Though not their first upgrades, this breakthrough marked their most significant transformation yet.
Because mastering these techniques was so time-consuming, he could only gain around 500 proficiency points per day on average.
It had taken over a week to accumulate 3,800 points — finally pushing both skills to Level 5.
Level 5 — the critical turning point where every skill underwent a qualitative change.
Izanagi was no exception.
Closing his eyes, Seimei carefully attuned to the new insights appearing in his mind.
After a moment, he opened his eyes again.
First, Izanagi.
Though he couldn't test it directly, Seimei was certain that if he activated the jutsu now, he could maintain invincibility for over five minutes.
That still fell short of Uchiha Obito — whose Hashirama cells allowed him to last ten minutes — but far surpassed Danzo, who could barely hold out for one minute.
And this was only Level 5.
If he pushed it to Level 7 or even the pinnacle Level 9, catching up to Obito seemed entirely possible.
If he merged Hashirama cells into his body and fully tapped their potential, surpassing Obito would be practically guaranteed.
But that goal was still a long way off.
Shaking off those thoughts, Seimei shifted his attention to Izanami.
Unlike Izanagi, Izanami's improvements were more subtle — enhancing its internal mechanics rather than its outward effects.
At Level 5, its binding effect on enemies had significantly strengthened.
Moreover, the chakra consumption required to maintain the illusion had noticeably decreased.
Izanami was said to correct fate, forcing people to accept their true selves.
But at its core, it simply trapped the target in an endlessly looping illusion — coercing them into changing their minds through sheer repetition.
In essence, it was forced cognitive modification — and "accepting fate" was merely a choice made out of resignation.
No illusion was completely unbreakable — but Seimei's upgraded Izanami had become far more resilient.
Breaking free through brute force would now be exponentially harder.
"Not bad."
Satisfied with his progress, Seimei nodded to himself.
Without wasting another second, he formed seals once again, casting Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu to resume his relentless training cycle.
