Chapter 147 - Too Consistent

After the endurance test, Ethan was told to move to another chamber.

This one looked bigger, emptier. At first glance, it was just a wide space with smooth walls and nothing inside.

Then Helena's voice came through the intercom, calm as always.

"I'm going to do a few changes. Don't be surprised, Ethan."

Ethan smiled. He was curious to see what she meant.

A soft hum echoed through the chamber. The floor shifted as hidden panels slid open. On one end, thick stone pillars rose up from the ground. On the other side, glowing spheres floated into the air. Some were small, some much larger, and they moved in random patterns.

Ethan stood in the middle, quietly observing everything.

'This is more advanced than I expected. I wonder if I can learn how this tech works.'
