Chapter 29 - Don't Get Out Of The Way, Die!

"Hey! What are you doing?"

"Get back! You can't mess with the Dynasty Guild!"

"You'll die! Come back now!"

Wang Yi's voice was filled with panic as he tried to pull Lin Moyu back. But Lin Moyu paid no attention to him, walking forward stubbornly, his expression unwavering.

The crowd that had been protesting suddenly fell silent, their eyes locked on Lin Moyu. He strode forward, his skeleton warrior following closely, each step accompanied by the eerie sound of bones clinking.

"What do you think you're doing?" A mage from the Dynasty Guild glared coldly at Lin Moyu, his eyes narrowing. Behind him, a dozen well-armed guild members—knights, warriors, mages, archers, and assistants—shifted their gaze to Lin Moyu.

This wasn't just any team. They were all above level 20, fully equipped with bronze-tier weapons and armor. Their combined presence exuded an air of dominance, enough to keep the crowd at bay.

Lin Moyu stopped right in front of the mage. "Move," he said calmly, his voice steady but firm.

The mage smirked, as if he'd just heard the most ridiculous joke. "Are you drunk, kid? Go home before you hurt yourself."

Without flinching, Lin Moyu replied, "Don't block my path, or I'll kill you."

There was no trace of jest in his words. He was deadly serious.

The mage chuckled and cast a detection spell on Lin Moyu. When the results appeared, his sneer widened. "You're level 12? Just a kid. Didn't your parents teach you how to speak properly? A necromancer, huh? Haven't seen one of those before. Must be a new class."

Mocking laughter spread through the guild members behind him.

"For the sake of us both being mages, I'll let you off this time. Now get lost."

The mage's words echoed, and soon, everyone in the area realized just how low Lin Moyu's level was. Level 12—practically nothing. Some were even baffled that he had the courage to stand there at all.

Lin Moyu responded by casting his own detection spell.

[Zhao Ji, Level 25, Mage.]

Just an ordinary mage, Lin Moyu noted, unimpressed. The level difference didn't faze him. While Zhao Ji and his guild continued to sneer, Lin Moyu's eyes darkened.

"Little kid, still sucking on milk. Go home, this isn't a playground for you."

"You'll get yourself killed, boy!"

Behind him, the crowd began to whisper urgently, pleading for him to return. "Kid, don't mess with the Dynasty Guild. They're dangerous. They really will kill you."

Wang Yi shouted again, his voice full of concern, "Brother, come back! We'll wait until they're done. It's not worth your life!"

But Lin Moyu ignored them all. His voice turned icy, his words cutting through the air like a blade. "I'm telling you for the last time. Move, or die."

For a moment, Zhao Ji shivered. There was something unsettling in Lin Moyu's tone, something that chilled him to the bone. The look in Lin Moyu's eyes wasn't human—it was the gaze of someone who saw nothing before him but a nuisance to be crushed.

But Zhao Ji quickly shook off the unease, his face twisting with rage. "You little brat! You're dead if you take another step forward!"

Lin Moyu's lips barely moved as he spoke one word: "Kill."

With that single command, the skeleton warrior moved, faster than anyone could react, rushing toward Zhao Ji with blinding speed. Its blade gleamed as it struck Zhao Ji's energy shield with a deafening crash.

Zhao Ji's smirk faded as he realized what was happening. His energy shield buckled under the skeleton's attack, nearly shattering on the first strike.

"What… What kind of summon is this?" Zhao Ji stammered, shock and fear coursing through him. His shield, which should have withstood multiple blows, was on the verge of breaking after just one hit.

Lin Moyu's eyes narrowed. He gave a silent command, and the skeleton warrior's blade glowed crimson, radiating with deadly power.

Furious Blow.

Zhao Ji's face paled. He could feel the lethal force behind the attack. If it landed, not only would his shield shatter, but he would be cut down in an instant.

Desperation filled him. "Resist the Ring of Fire!" he shouted, and a wave of fiery energy erupted from him, blasting the skeleton warrior back several meters. The skeleton's attack was interrupted, but the threat wasn't over.

"Attack! Now!" Zhao Ji screamed, his voice filled with panic.

A knight from the Dynasty Guild sprang into action, charging forward with his shield raised. In a blur of motion, he collided with the skeleton warrior, but it was the knight who was sent flying, crashing into the ground with a heavy thud.

The skeleton warrior didn't budge.

Realizing the futility of their strength, Zhao Ji staggered backward, shouting, "Kill the summoner! Take him down!"

Two archers took aim, their arrows transforming into streaks of light as they shot toward Lin Moyu.

"Watch out!"

"Move!" someone cried from the crowd.

But Lin Moyu stood still. He didn't even blink. His expression was cold and unyielding, as if the danger hurtling toward him didn't exist at all.
