Chapter 16 - Hun

Tang Xiao brought his big sister closer to the necklace, but Tang Yin stopped him just as he was about to take it. "Are you sure you want to take it? Xiao Ai doesn't have any data about this necklace, so I think it might be dangerous."

"I know, but the woman's voice keeps bugging me. I'm curious about her, and I want to know the reason she called me." Tang Xiao sat Tang Yin on the floor before taking the necklace, but the red stone on it suddenly shot out and stuck to his forehead.

They were shocked to see that, but their shock didn't stop there because the red stone entered Tang Xiao's forehead, leaving a scarlet flame mark on his forehead. Besides, the red necklace also disappeared into his hand, which created a strange mark on the back of his right palm.

"What-Ugh!" The pain in his body knocked Tang Xiao to the ground before he could ask, and a scarlet flame emerged from his forehead before engulfing his body. "Argh!"

"Xiao'er! What happened to him, Xiao Ai?" Tang Yin frantically asked as Tang Xiao looked in so much pain.

Xiao Ai grabbed Tang Yin's hand when she was about to touch Tang Xiao while she reminded her. "Don't touch my master for now, Mistress. This flame is no ordinary flame, and it will harm you."

Hearing Xiao Ai's words made Tang Yin increasingly panicked; she couldn't bear to see Tang Xiao in such agony as he continued to groan in pain. "What can we do now to help him?"

"Mistress, even though my master looked like he was in a lot of pain, I didn't detect any oddities on his body. Apparently, the flame is trying to fuse with his body, so we can't do anything to help him, and all we can do now is wait." After all, Xiao Ai's main chip is in Tang Xiao's brain, and she can detect if something abnormal is happening to him, but she doesn't detect anything in his body.

Even though nothing bad happened to Tang Xiao, Tang Yin continued to wait anxiously, and his constant groans of pain made her heart ache.

An hour later, the scarlet flame covering Tang Xiao's body disappeared, and he gasped for breath. "Hah… Hah…"

Fortunately, Tang Xiao was mentally strong; even though he was in constant pain, he did not faint. After the process was complete, some strange memories appeared in his mind, and he could see a world with a civilization that was far more advanced than Earth.

Additionally, Tang Xiao learned that the woman who had previously called him was the ruler of that world, and he also discovered her name. Unfortunately, not all of the memories were good, and he saw the destruction of the planet in them, including the woman's death.

Tang Yin immediately hugged him as she cried, but she was relieved that nothing happened to her little brother. Tang Xiao inwardly sighed before hugging her. "I'm fine now, so you don't have to cry anymore."

"Hun!" Tang Xiao called out softly.

Soon, a mature woman with waist-length red hair appeared in front of them, startling them. However, they didn't sense any malicious intentions from her, so they lowered their guard a little. The woman was exceptionally beautiful, and her red hair sparkled like a flame. Her body was clad in a tight and sexy red dress, making her large breasts stand out very much, and her hourglass curves were perfectly defined before their eyes.

However, they were shocked when the woman opened her eyes, as she had no pupils and there was only flame inside. "Thank you for helping me, Master. I will die if you don't take my necklace, and my soul will disappear forever."

Tang Xiao sat on the floor, caught his breath, and asked her. "Who exactly are you, Hun? From the memories that flashed through my mind, you should be the ruler of that destroyed planet, right?"

Both women also looked at Hun curiously, especially Xiao Ai, because she didn't recognize the materials needed to make the necklace, and she suspected that they were long-lost.

"I was indeed the ruler of that planet, and my planet name was Atropos, but everything has been destroyed now, and I am the only one left of my kin." Hun answered with a sorrowful expression, and she told them exactly what happened to her planet and about how she could be inside the red stone. Besides, she also taught Tang Xiao how to use her necklace, which is called Atropos Glory.

Tang Xiao sighed heavily after he heard that, and he then observed the strange symbol on the back of his palm. "Does this mean you're a ghost now?"

"You can say that, but I am different from ordinary humans, and I can reshape my body in the future. Unfortunately, the process is not simple and takes a long time, so I can only rely on you for now, Master."

Tang Xiao felt strange about being Hun's master, but he had no other choice because the two objects had merged with his body, and she could only live inside the red stone. "Is it true that I can transform your necklace into various weapons?"

"You can use it as I just taught you, Master."

"All right." Tang Xiao summoned the necklace out, and it immediately turned into a sword, which made him overjoyed. After that, he imagined several other types of weapons, and the necklace continued to change based on his imagination. "Awesome!"

Not only was he pleased with the necklace, but Tang Yin also looked excited. "Xiao'er, this necklace is truly amazing, and it really suits you, especially since you have often practiced using various weapons in the past."

"You're right, Big Sis." Tang Xiao then stood up while carrying Tang Yin in his arms. "Do you want to choose your weapon first?"

Tang Yin shook her head at him. "I want to choose my weapon, but we have to get out quickly, or Aunt Yuan will panic because she can't find me."

"Master, I will rest inside the sun stone, and I will see you again later." Hun said to him.

"All right." After that, Tang Xiao took Tang Yin out of the primordial divine ark, but he didn't take her into the patient's room directly. He was afraid that there were other people waiting for them there, and their appearance would shock them.

.

.

.

As they expected, Tang Yuan was already in the ward, and her expression was panicked when she found her niece missing, so she called the nurse who was responsible for looking after her.

Tang Yuan was shocked after Qin Qin told her that the last person to visit Tang Yin was Tang Xiao, as she was previously told by Du Zhong that he fell into the ravine, and he is still trying to find his body. But now, a man claiming to be her nephew took her niece away for hours, and they still haven't returned.

Tang Yuan then took out her cell phone and showed Qin Qin a photo of Tang Xiao. "Was it really him who visited her before?"

"Yes, he is indeed the one who took Tang Yin away." Qin Qin replied with a nod after she took a close look at Tang Xiao's photo.

'Is Xiao'er really still alive? Why didn't he contact me if he was still alive? Where did he take Yin'er away?' Tang Yuan became puzzled in her heart. "Do you really not know where he took her to?"

"No." Qin Qin shook her head. "I went to check on some other patients after I checked Tang Yin's condition, and Tang Xiao also didn't tell me that he was taking her away."

Tang Yuan nodded in understanding. "In that case, I—"

*Crack*

"Sorry to worry you, Aunt Yuan." Tang Xiao said as he pushed Tang Yin's wheelchair, shocking Tang Yuan and Qin Qin.

"We're back, Aunt Yuan." Tang Yin also said it with a sweet smile.

Tang Yuan and Qin Qin were dumbfounded to see them, especially after they heard Tang Yin's voice, and they even rubbed their eyes to make sure they didn't see wrongly. After all, she was still in a coma a few hours ago, but she suddenly woke up.

After she returned to her senses, Tang Yuan ran to their side and hugged both of them, and tears of joy dripped from her eyes. "Xiao'er, I thought I had lost you; I'm grateful to see you alive now, and I'm also grateful that you've recovered, Yin'er."

Both of them smiled at seeing their aunt like that, and they hugged Tang Yuan back. "Aunt Yuan, I thought I would die before, but luck was still on my side, and I managed to survive the ravine."

Hearing that, Tang Yuan released them from her embrace, and she rubbed their cheeks while her eyes continued to shed tears. "What about Yin'er? How could she wake up suddenly?"

"Aunt Yuan, please get me out of the hospital first, and we will talk later." Tang Yuan nodded in agreement with Tang Yin, and she hurried off to take care of everything to bring her home. "Nurse Qin, thank you for taking care of me for the past seven years."

"No." Qin Qin shook her head at Tang Yin. "I'm a nurse, and it's my job to care for the sick, so you don't need to thank me."

Tang Yin smiled faintly at that. "Please give me your number, Nurse Qin. I will contact you later to discuss something."
