"You could have easily grown into a powerful figure in the years to come," the Floor Master said coldly. "However… now, I'm not so sure."
Leon frowned, his gaze sharpening. "What do you mean?"
She met his eyes with an expression grim enough to chill the air around them.
"The war has been declared openly. The entire Tower now knows of the Abominations—and of the Void Walkers."
Leon straightened, the words hitting him like a blade. "You mean… you're no longer keeping it discreet?"
She nodded. "No. The time for secrecy has ended. These creatures, once whispered about in dark corners, are now storming the open gates. And worse…" Her hand slammed down on her armrest, cracking the crystal surface. "Some of the greedy factions across the Tower—the ones obsessed with power—they're already allying with them."
Leon tensed. "Wait. Void Walkers? I've only ever heard of the Abominations."
She nodded slowly, her tone now solemn.
"Yes… that's because the Void Walkers are even worse."
