"This must be the Ancient Bug Emperor Armor. Truly remarkable," Mo Yu murmured softly, his hand gently stroking the fine black robe now draped over his body.

"Heh, this Ancient Bug Emperor Armor was a staple for many strong individuals in ancient times," Lei Zhen said with a chuckle, stroking his beard. "Especially armors refined from a queen insect; their value rivals even Tian class dou techniques.

Such items are incredibly rare and difficult to acquire. Queen insects, with their immense strength, are not easily found. Even in the Ancient Heavenly Tomb, you might only come across one or two occasionally."

Mo Yu nodded. Although the Ancient Bug Emperor Armor required a continuous consumption of dou qi to sustain, it posed no burden to him thanks to his Perfect Heavenly Thunder Body. This allowed the armor to remain on him at all times, providing a passive defense against unexpected sneak attacks and eliminating countless potential threats.

"This Ancient Bug Emperor Armor is the final gift I can give you. Take care, and do not let me down," Lei Zhen said with a hearty laugh, though his tone became solemn.

Hearing this, Mo Yu shifted his gaze from the armor and nodded earnestly. "Rest assured, ancestor. I will not fail your expectations."

With that, Mo Yu clasped Lei Fei'er's hand, bowed respectfully to Lei Zhen, and stepped into the spatial rift. Lei Fei'er followed close behind.

As the two disappeared into the rift, Lei Zhen smiled faintly, closing his eyes. A soft sigh echoed through the grand hall moments later.

"Whether the Lei Clan will see another Dou Di depends on you..."

Across a vast and desolate land, faint energy mist drifted between heaven and earth. Occasionally, energy bodies floated silently by, resembling ghosts.

Among the chaotic stones, a figure clad in silver armor sat cross-legged midair, radiating immense energy. This was a Nine-Star energy body.

Suddenly, the surrounding space froze, and two black chains shot through the void, tearing into the energy body with a sharp clatter. Black mist surged, shredding the energy body apart. A shadowy figure emerged from the void and swiftly grabbed the Nine-Star energy core.

"These energy bodies possess massive energy but are completely defenseless," the figure said casually, slipping the core into his storage ring. His pale, shadowy face was none other than Hun Ya.

"There are indeed many powerful energy bodies deeper in the Heavenly Tomb, but that monster is too terrifying. We'd better stay away," a second figure appeared, his scarred face identifying him as Hun Li.

"If not for encountering Lei Zhen of the Lei Clan, that Mo Yu would have fallen to our ancestor," Hun Ya said coldly, his tone filled with malice. "Still, our mission here is to destroy the Xiao Clan's tombs.

Over the past thousand years, our clan's continuous efforts have destroyed most of the Xiao Clan's ancestral tombs, severing their path to resurgence. Only a few remain, and it is our task to eliminate them.

"According to our intelligence, one of the remaining tombs belongs to Fairy Xiao, a Dou Sheng of the Xiao Clan from millennia ago. If we're correct, her tomb should be just ahead."

Hun Li nodded, his eyes brimming with cold killing intent. The Xiao Clan and the Hun Clan were mortal enemies. The Xiao Clan's downfall a thousand years ago was due to the Hun Clan's ambush. Of all the clans on the continent, the Hun Clan would never tolerate the Xiao Clan's resurgence.

"Does the Hun Clan only know how to stoop to such petty tricks?"

A faint ripple spread through the air, and a light chuckle echoed as two figures stepped out of the void. Hun Ya and Hun Li's expressions darkened as their gazes locked on the newcomers.

"Mo Yu?" Hun Ya and Hun Li's voices were cold as they stared at Mo Yu and Lei Fei'er hovering in midair with faint smiles.

Mo Yu stretched lazily, his gaze teasing as he looked down at the pair. "Two years have passed, and it seems you haven't been doing too well."

Hun Ya's face turned grim as his eyes darted cautiously around. Only after confirming that the mysterious powerhouse from before was absent did he relax slightly. He sneered, "Mo Yu, don't be too arrogant. Even if we can't deal with you in the Heavenly Tomb, once outside, your Lei Clan cannot compare to my Hun Clan."

"In that case, I'll ensure neither of you leaves this place," Mo Yu retorted coldly.

"Don't overestimate yourself!" Hun Ya's voice turned icy. After their last encounter, they knew they were no match for Mo Yu, but escaping wouldn't be too difficult.

"Don't be reckless. If Mo Yu dares to show up here, he must be confident in his strength. Let's retreat for now," Hun Ya said, his tone cautious.

Hun Li nodded. "Mo Yu, remember this: next time we meet, you won't be so lucky."

With that, the two retreated rapidly, their dou qi surging as they remained on high alert.

"Do you really think you can escape?" Mo Yu sneered, his figure vanishing like a ghost.

"Hmph, courting death!"

Sensing Mo Yu's movement, Hun Ya and Hun Li tensed. Black mist surged from their fists as they struck the void before them.

However, a faint figure materialized in the void. Two slender hands emerged, effortlessly grasping their black mist-covered fists.

Violent lightning erupted from Mo Yu's palms, obliterating the black mist in a crackling surge.

"Two years, and this is all the progress you've made? Disappointing," Mo Yu remarked coldly, his grip unyielding like a mountain, rendering Hun Ya and Hun Li powerless to break free.

Seeing this, Hun Li and Hun Ya's expressions suddenly changed. For some reason, they suddenly felt that Mo Yu's current strength was like a deep abyss—immeasurable and unfathomable!

Two years... how could such a drastic change have occurred? While they were still in shock, Mo Yu slowly shook his head. With a flick of his arm, a terrifying force erupted abruptly.

"Boom!"

The ferocious energy slammed into Hun Li and Hun Ya's chests. Struck by such a heavy blow, their faces instantly turned pale as blood spurted wildly from their mouths.

Their bodies shot backward like kites with broken strings, carving nearly a hundred-meter-long trench on the ground before finally coming to a halt.

"Five-Turn Dou Zun?!"

Struggling to climb out of the trench, Hun Li and Hun Ya looked at Mo Yu with expressions of utter shock. Their eyes were filled with disbelief as they stared at him.

The aura that Mo Yu had unleashed in that moment had surpassed the peak of the Dou Zun level, reaching the fifth turn of the Nine-Turn Dou Zun stage!

"Impossible!"

The corners of Hun Ya and Hun Li's mouths twitched, and their minds roared uncontrollably. In just two years, they hadn't even managed to advance by one star, but Mo Yu had skyrocketed from a six-star Dou Zun to the fifth turn of Nine-Turn Dou Zun.

The stark contrast was something they found utterly unacceptable.

"It's over."

Looking at the two of them lying there like dead dogs, Mo Yu sneered coldly. He flicked his finger, and a pitch-black thunder orb materialized.

This small thunder orb contained an immense and terrifying power!

"Boom!"

The thunder orb descended, and with a deafening explosion akin to thunderclaps, the world shook violently.

Amid the raging storm of thunder and lightning, two black shadows were once again thrown backward, slamming heavily into the ground. Along the way, massive rocks were pulverized into powder with loud crashing sounds.

"Pfft!"

From the cloud of thick stone dust, Hun Li and Hun Ya spat out mouthfuls of blood mixed with shattered internal organs. Feeling their life force rapidly fading, their eyes finally filled with fear and regret.

As Mo Yu looked at the two lifeless corpses, he shook his head slightly before stepping into the air and walking slowly toward a distant, graceful figure.

"Your strength truly defies the heavens, my husband," Lei Fei'er blinked her beautiful eyes and praised as she watched Mo Yu effortlessly dispatch Hun Li and Hun Ya.

"Hehe, it's nothing. They were just some small fries from the Hun Clan," Mo Yu said nonchalantly, waving his hand. If a Five-Turn Dou Zun couldn't easily deal with two Eight-Star Dou Zuns, he might as well smash his head into a block of tofu and die.

After taking care of Hun Li and Hun Ya, Mo Yu's expression turned serious as he recalled their earlier conversation. Frowning, he said in a deep voice, "After so many times the Heavenly Tomb has been opened, the Hun Clan has continuously sabotaged the tombs of the Xiao Clan's powerhouses. Has no one ever stopped them?"

No wonder that in the original story, when Xiao Yan entered the Heavenly Tomb, almost all the tombs of the Xiao Clan's powerhouses were gone, leaving only Xiao Xuan's tomb. It turned out that all this was the Hun Clan's doing.

Hearing this, Lei Fei'er paused, then thoughtfully replied, "The Hun Clan has always acted insidiously and secretly. Their enmity with the Xiao Clan runs deep. Coupled with the fact that only the younger generation can enter the Heavenly Tomb, the Hun Clan has found many opportunities to exploit."

Mo Yu nodded at her explanation and sighed softly. "I hope Yu'er can find some hope in the tomb of Fairy Xiao, the last remaining Dou Sheng of the Xiao Clan."

From Hun Li and Hun Ya's words, Mo Yu learned that there were almost no tombs of the Xiao Clan's powerhouses left in the Heavenly Tomb. If Xiao Yu wanted to gain the Xiao Clan's Dou Di bloodline, her only hope was likely in the Dou Sheng tomb of "Fairy Xiao."

If Xiao Yu couldn't be found in the tomb of this Dou Sheng, then she might miss this rare opportunity entirely.

After all, Mo Yu knew that once Xiao Yan broke through to Dou Di in the future, the Xiao Clan would experience a phenomenon of full-bloodline resurgence.

However, if Xiao Yu could achieve a high concentration of the Dou Di bloodline before that, and Xiao Yan activated it once more later, Xiao Yu's bloodline would reach a terrifying level.

But all of this depended on Xiao Yu gaining enough rewards in the Heavenly Tomb.

Of course, even if Xiao Yu failed, Mo Yu wouldn't be overly disappointed—just slightly regretful.

As if sensing Mo Yu's thoughts and concerns, Lei Fei'er's beautiful eyes glimmered. She sighed softly and gently held Mo Yu's arm, speaking softly.

"Don't worry. Sister Xiao Yu is blessed by fate. She will surely gain something great."

Hearing her words, Mo Yu nodded. Then, noticing Lei Fei'er's way of addressing Xiao Yu, a hint of confusion flashed in his eyes.

Lei Fei'er had always been competitive, even quarreling with the obedient Qing Lin. She naturally looked down on Xiao Yu. Yet now, she was addressing Xiao Yu as "sister."

Why the sudden change in attitude?

Unbeknownst to Mo Yu, Lei Fei'er's mindset had undergone a tremendous shift.

After learning that Mo Yu possessed the same Heavenly Thunder Body as their ancestor, rather than a divine-grade bloodline, Lei Fei'er's admiration for Mo Yu deepened further. As a result, she gradually became more accommodating regarding Xiao Yu and put away her earlier jealousy.

In her eyes, even if Xiao Yu wasn't worthy of Mo Yu, neither was she. Since that was the case, there was no point in quarreling. It would be better to live in harmony.

Moreover, Lei Fei'er understood Mo Yu's temperament. If she insisted on competing with Xiao Yu, it would only upset him.

Although Mo Yu didn't understand Lei Fei'er's sudden change in attitude, it was a good thing. He nodded appreciatively and then pulled Lei Fei'er along as they ventured deeper.

Not long after, an ancient stone tablet emerged before them.

The stone tablet stood proudly in the dark, exuding an ethereal and elegant charm. What was surprising was the carving of an ancient flute on the tablet, radiating a mysterious and sacred aura.

"According to clan records, Fairy Xiao from the Xiao Clan was skilled at playing the flute. This must be the tomb of that Xiao Clan Dou Sheng," Lei Fei'er said softly.

Hearing this, Mo Yu nodded. As he gazed at the stone tablet engraved with the ancient flute, even after countless years, the aura emanating from the flute still carried an indescribable power.

It wasn't overwhelming, but it made one's soul tremble uncontrollably.

While Mo Yu marveled at this, his heart suddenly stirred. He sensed Xiao Yu's presence here…
