Author' note: for my dear readers feel free to criticize me of how I wrote the senate hearing here. I'm a dumb man making political base chapter without even knowing how the political world works.

Senate Hearing
the Senate Hearing at Capitol Hill is at full swing after the unforeseen even happens back in the region of the Pacific where Enterprise Carrier Strike Group, along with the British Warship and Japanese Warship had vanishes in at thin air as it didn't leave any trace of wreckage as the whole Carrier Fleet.
At the senate Hearing is where Cmdr. April and Capt. Kirk giving their testimony about the disappearance of Enterprise Strike Group.
The Congress and Senators chewed their ass to say the least is an understatement, not a single Naval Officers survives the hearing and demotion. More likely those Naval Officers were just used as escape goat to mountains of problem facing the Navy and it lost of crucial assets at the Pacific Region namely Enterprise Carrier Strike Group and the experienced Officers that drowned and receives substantial injuries.
At the court Adm. Mathew was there to say some testimony. "To the Senators and Congressmen here in the room." He began. "I hereby to ask the Senate to not punish the men and women who serve onboard the Carrier Strike Group 1 and Carrier Enterprise. Those men and women served their country well.... But using them as escape goat with the failures of the Higher-Ups to react to such strange phenomenon. What just transpired back on June is unprecedented and our Officers were not trained, nor ready act such strange phenomenon."
The Senator form Pennsylvania spoke. "Adm. Matthew we know you what to save those Officers from the troubles they made." He then brought-out a paper report containing the cost of their assets that was lost.
"The worth of assets we've lost values that of other nation military budget expenditure combine. Those assets worth Hundred-Billions of tax-payer's dollars! May I remind you."
"And may I remind you too Senator! Those men and women were not prepared to face such strange event, never. Never in the history of this Nation experience this phenomenon. Hell... we never ever in our life would ever expect to lose a Super Carrier in War in the Western Pacific. Now we lost one in a strange occurrence that even our top-scientist can't even explain the disappearance of a Fleet of it scale and it missing assets."
Adm. Matthew let-out his emotion as he saw the Congress being the Congress that it is, pointing fingers at the people they deemed responsible.
The heated debate between the Senators and Adm. Matthew goes-on as he defends those men and women who served the US Military and give their all, but now the Congress and the Top were pointing at the unpreparedness to such events.
Hell... even the US Military and even the Congress themselves didn't even plan this kind of strange event.
"Now you mentioned about the missing assets." The Senator from Texas spoke. "According to the Pacific US Navy Sealift Command's report say. The Ammunition Storage where we store our Missiles and Bombs experiences the same strange phenomenon, and eye witnesses said a whole stack of stored Canister of Tomahawk Missile Cruise Block V just vanishes in thin air after the whole storage room where engulf of blinding azure lights. The whole thing played similar to any testimony from the Sailors of Enterprise Strike Group."
"I can confirm nor denied the missing Bombs and Missile that are stored around the US Navy Sealift storage area. We didn't know any of the cost but.... The last time we checked in the US Military Sealift Command Log, those equipment and ammunition were all registered to USNS William McLean T-AKE-12 of the Lewis and Clark Class Cargo Ship." Adm. Matthew said.
"Wait... is that the Cargo Ship that went down along with Enterprise Strike Group?" Senator from California asks.
"Unfortunately it is." Adm. Matthew answers.
"How can an even a Ship that disappear from this world could still have a connection to the military, hell! It didn't even have a crew to even start. What are you suggesting the Ship itself contacted us?" Senator from Pennsylvania blurted-out.
"Like everyone else here in the room, and those watching us on Television on their homes.... We don't know." He honestly said.
The House of Representatives spoke. "I think that enough for today. Adm. Matthew please return to your seat."
After giving out his testimony, Adm. Matthey sat down as another hearing of testimony from another branch of the US Military somehow connected to the predicament of the Navy.
"Space Force General Johnsons." House of Representative said. "What does the case of extraterrestrial connection you assumed to be connected with the Navy's predicament?"
The Space Force General Johnsons stood as his about give-out his testimony of the matter regarding the Space Force and Navy.
"To the Congressmen and the Senators, and the people of United States of America. To honest we didn't expect such occurrence in one of our Mars Expeditionary Scout Satellite orbiting Mars would suddenly receive a sudden and unexpected SOS Message from Millions of Light-Years away from our Universe."
Gasps among the Senators and Congressmen rose-up as the report were baseless rumors of conspiracy theories and hearsay among the Space Forces Staff members.
"And how do you connect this strange occurrence of Space Force to the Navy. Is there something you know that you been keeping on us General?" Senator from Pennsylvania said as he and the others in the room notices Space Force General Johnson is having a doubt about his own testimony.
"I've partner with the Adm. Matthew to solve this one problem, and even he couldn't believe to that strange event. And that one signal alone changes both of our prospective to what just happen to Carrier Strike Group 1."
"What do you mean by that?"
Space Force General Johnson straighten-up palm resting at the podium while glancing at the Congress and Senators saying that his serious at this one.
"Carrier Strike Group 1 didn't vanish, but instead got teleported to another Universe!"
Senators and Congressmen reprocess their brain after hearing that, many have to blink in reaction. The Internet meanwhile exploded with all the baseless claims a theory about alien abductions, and half who shared some of those theory are the Anime Community or the Weebs speaking of Isekai fantasies.
The debate is divided on that one, but everyone is certain DOD and DARPA and their crazy experiments are not involve in this fiasco.
Senator of Pennsylvania slams his palm at the wooden table and it sounded like a gavel reverberating inside the room.
"Are you out of your mind of something General?! Teleported to another world! Is it a work of an extraterrestrial being we would have detected it by our Sensors, and our Ballistic Missile Defense installed all over the Pacific Bases and Allied Nation would have detected any extraterrestrial life form entering our world!"
"Yes we know that, but that doesn't mean we can detect all other Advance Species entering our world."
Senator from Arizona calmly spoke. "And how did the two you came into conclusion that Enterprise Carrier Strike Group 1 is teleported to another Universe, and not simple vanishes under our radar."
"As you know by now for past two weeks after we receive such message, we conducted a thoroughly investigation at the matter. The SOS Message we receive matches that on Carrier Strike Group 1 emergency code. And if we look at the US Navy Sealift Command Log."
Space Force General Johnsons said as an image of the said Log is being shown in screen at the room where everyone can see. Everyone where a gasp at list of equipment that were listed and matches that on the missing equipments at the storage.
The cost of each equipment at listed on the US Navy Sealift Command Log when combined almost costed them the entire Invasion of Iraq of how much it cost. The Fuel, Ammunition ranging from various cal. Rounds, Missile and Bombs.
"What you were seeing gentlemen are the list of what we called missing equipment, those equipments that we deemed missing were listed here."
The image changes to the topic of the discussion. Namely the Satellite Parts that were 'acquired' at Space Force Base Storage Facility.
"What you are looking at are the Satellite Parts used to contact us from far a distant Universe Millions-Years away from our own Universe."
"My god" is all the word that the surprise Senators and Congressmen could utter in surprise seeing the list.
Senator from Texas spoke breaking the rising murmurs among the Senators and Congressmen. "How? How would they acquire these kind of Material Parts without a single Sailors or Crew being with the Ships? According to the Navy report of the survivors and casualties, none of the Sailors, Crew and Officers listed as missing. How come a mere Ships can acquire those materials without external help."
"Senator that thing puzzles us to. We didn't know how did that happen."
"Hah, are trying to say that the Ships itself had their bodies to even contact us form Millions of years away from our own Universe." Senator from Pennsylvania scorn the very idea of ships being sentient and have their own body like humans, such thinking is very childish.
"Probably...." Space Force General Johnson said, shruggingly. "We didn't if it is even possible."
Adm. Matthew face-palmed along with others in the hearing room. It is well known that the Space Force is filled with Nerds and Weebs working in the Offices and talked about Sci-Fi and Anime Fantasy often that the other branch of the Military didn't want to associate themselves with the weirdness of the 5th branch of the Military.
"You gotta be shitting me." Adm. Matthew muttered to himself in disbelief as his only ally in this debate is one hell of a weirdo and wacko the worst combination at the time.
General of the Army Bradly listening to the whole testament holds-off his laughter at the response of Space Force General.
"I never imagine the topic of anime and brain rot fantasies will be very mentioned inside this room. The total comedy of our bickering Politician painted the Capitol as whole circus for the whole world to see and laugh at. But then... "
His tone goes serious for some reasons. "it always comes to us when some weird phenomenon that couldn't be explain by rocket science always came landed in our front lawn."
"Bradly. This is a serious issue that could cause harm to our nation if not resolve properly." Adm. Matthey said.
"Well to all assumptions everyone could validate, my theory seems fit the bill." Army Gen. Bradly said with confidence.
Army General Bradly is the one theorized about the Alien Invasion of Earth after the confirmation of the SOS Message coming from a distant Universe. He hypothesized that the extraterrestrial life is using the missing Carrier Strike Group being used to study the American Military and the Worlds Weaponry as a whole.
Many believe it was all ridiculous for an Alien to stole an entire Ship without its crew, but many believed him as some wanted connect this to the Movie Battle of LA and Battleship etc.
Adm. Matthew's demeanor got serious as he and the others in the top knows what Army General Bradly is true goals in this mess and want to capitalize on it.
"We all know you want to capitalize on this strange event that is happening at the Navy to bolster your support at the Military Industrial Complex. You used this mess to buy more Weapons and made contracts behind doors."
"Don't be an old grumpy Matthew, we all know all the US Military Branches got their budget doubled, and some shelved programs being revitalized to the renewed Military Budget. Sadly, they couldn't replace one carrier for a short moment." Army Gen. Bradly said.
He then turns his attention to him. "I know you and Adm. Pike pleads for new toys and funding with Congress."
Adm. Matthew's brows twitch and intersected as he hates his friend's name being used for political use and self-interest by individuals.
"Don't you dare mention him like that." He said dead serious.
~Back at the Hearing~
"What you have just said doesn't even make sense." Senator from Texas said, as he listens to any hypothesis to what may happen to the Ships itself by Space Force General Johnsons.
"In science Yes, but not in some---"
"Oh shut the fuck-up." Senator of Pennsylvania stops him there in the tracks form bringing-out anime fantasies at the hearing.
"Enough with the fantasy crap. Let-us continue to the concerning matters." Senator from Arizona said.
"It was mentioned and listed to the US Navy Sealift Command Log that few B-61-12 Nuclear Bombs were reported missing at their Nuclear Storage?
"Umm.... How do I say it... *sighs*" Adm. Matthew stammered at his words as the controversy around this weapon could be the nail at his coffin as his name was called by the House of Representative to give his testimony.
"Yes, we cannot deny that we've lost 20 B-61-12 Nuclear Bombs in a disclosed number." He answers, with a gulp.
Murmurs and chatter amongst the Congressmen and Senators rose-up in the room. The internet already exploding in the past hour of hearing, once again explodes after hearing the missing number of nukes.
There gonna be mass protest about that at the Capitol Hill after hearing 20 Nuclear Bombs goes missing. Everyone in America would only like to live their lives in 2050s in harmony and not worrying about state of the world and rising tension at the Western Pacific. Alien invasion and all of the crazy stuff related to missing Military Equipment were not at the 2050s Bingo Card.

Pentagon, Adm. Matthew's Office.
Adm. Matthew slump back at his seat at his Office as he vents all the compiled frustration that turns into headache.
At his Office is Vice Adm. Hathaway standing there watching him vent-out his frustration, like he always does, but this occurrence multiply it by ten folds.
"I know you're not just here to say hello to me, Hathaway." He said while massaging his wrinkled temple.
"Of course not, Admiral." Vice Adm. Hathaway replies, and then brought-out a folder containing some sensitive files.
"Did the investigation about Carrier Strike Group 1 yield some results?" He asks after receiving the folder.
"Unfortunately... none."
"None?"
"Yes, sir. none."
He groans in frustration. "According to the sailors, Crew and Officers they saw the Carrier dematerialized."
"Yes correct Admiral, but we didn't find any wreckage or parts of the Carrier as it dematerialized."
Adm. Matthew rubbed his forehead. "So.... Johnsons was right then?"
"If the entire Carrier Strike Group 1 got teleported? Yes, if we go with his Ludacris theory."
Adm. Matthew leaned forward, chin rested at his clasping hands. "Do you think it is one of those Star Trek franchise Transporter thingy? It matches that dematerializing part, but..."
He paused if Vice Adm. Hathaway is listening. "Can a Transporter like technology teleport an entire Carrier Strike Group in a snap of a finger?"
Vice Adm. Hathaway responded. "I'm not a Star Trek fan to begin with, so my opinion might not be valid. My answer to that question is.... Maybe."
"Maybe?" Adm. Matthew uttered.
After some deep contemplation Adm. Matthew reads the content of the Folder, the report is about the Carrier replacement at USS Enterprise station at the Western Pacific. Carrier USS John F Kenny move its homeport from Norfolk Virginia to Pearl Harbor Hawaii at her absence.
Newport News Shipbuilding where all the US Navy Nuclear Super Carrier is made, along with the other Naval Vessels that built with Nuclear Reactor. Currently the Shipyard is at its tight schedule of delivering the 9th Ford Class Carrier and 6th Lexington Class Cruiser that is being refitted with sensors and electronics.
Losing a Destroyer and a Frigate or Cargo Ship didn't impact the operation of the US Navy at the region, but losing a Capital Ships such as Nuclear powered Carrier and Cruiser. Will have a deep impact and pause at some regions of operation.
US Navy doctrine revolves around the Carrier Strike Group at the Western Pacific and Southern Pacific. It was written at their battle plan to deter China at the region by maintaining 3 Carrier Strike Group in patrol.
Adm. Matthew let out a sigh. "Good thing we didn't have the same problems back in the 2020s and 2030s. The lack of Carriers at the hostile regions of Middle East."
2020 and mid 2030 is like a shit-show for the US Navy as half of its Carriers were in port having maintenance and repair. Some are at Newport News Shipbuilding being refueled and refitted in a slow pace as the Shipyard faces a low employment in skilled worker.
"It will be a shit-show, Sir." Vice Adm. Hathaway said.
"Enough of that.... what about the problems of Navy Sealift Command Log and the amount of equipment that has been considered lost?"
Vice Adm. Hathaway straighten-up as this topic were serious of a concern." Unfortunately, we hit a roadblock."
What do you mean you hit a roadblock?" Adm. Matthew didn't expect him to hit a roadblock.
The disappearance of Carrier Strike Group 1 is sure a concern as to how many advance technology goes down with the fleet. Now missing equipment and weapons that make any adversary nations pay to get their hands-on.
"Yes sir, we even tried to override the System and Various Websites to remove the connection, but... bastard still there even our top-best Programmers and Hackers from various Military Branches, still nothing." Vice Adm. Hathaway said while shaking his head.
Adm. Matthew slams his fist at the table making some of the documents flew-off and pencil holder fall. "Damn it!"
He rested his head at his curled hands at the table as the bad news keeps growing, if it's not taken care of his career and reputation will be tainted forever at this mistakes.
"All though.... I notice some peculiarities." Vice Adm. Hathaway continues as he waited for the Admiral to calm down from raging.
Adm. Matthew peeked up. "What???"
"Yes sir, I notice some peculiarities."
"Like what???"
"AIM-9X, AMRAAMs, ESSMs, Tomahawk Block V, LRSAM, JASSM-ER and MK-48 Torpedoes. Some were older version of Guided Bombs."
"What about those weapons?"
"Those Weapon Systems were decades old, and some were listed to be disposed of. Those older weapon System didn't compare to what we have today in our current inventory like: AIM-120 JATM-eX that has a range of 200 miles. AIM-360 LANC (Lance) the successor of the AIM-9X Sidewinder Family of Missiles. BGM-109 Tomahawk Cruise Missile Block X with the double or triple the range and explosive power. Meko Missile replaces our JASSM-ER for Anti-Ship Role. MK-80 Heavy weight Torpedo with its triple lethality than the previous MK-48s."
"Your saying that the lost equipment, we didn't lose nothing?"
"I didn't know what to say about that. losing those older Weapon Systems would spare us some hundreds of millions of dollars in dismantling and disposing such Weapon System."
"Yeah your right those hundreds of millions of dollars could be used to fund another projects." Adm. Matthew said with a renewed and somewhat doubtful vigor at the plan.
"Let's hope things will get better in the future run."
"Let's hope so, I don't any of the repeat of what happen back on July."
"Don't jinx it, Admiral." Vice Admiral Hathaway said in somewhat playful tone.

Dark as always as the only light in the void that were visible is a holographic screen showing a Top-Gun Maverick Style of bombing run at the last remaining Siren Facility hidden at the snowy region of Siberia territory of Northern Parliament.
Code-G stood there with satisfactory smile plastered at her face as she watches such devastation occurred at the Siren Facility.
"GEEZ.... You could have just renovated this place, I mean its' too dark and wide. You could have just built a room here with all the house material." Enterprise-80 said as she walks closer to her position.
"By the way.... Aren't you not tired of standing there watching a world event, I mean you're a being of some sort. But at least have some furniture or chair or something."
"I'll consider that...." Code-G said as she turns of the holographic screen with a slight wipe of her hand. "I'm a being beyond any mortals can understand, needing such necessity is a such for a being like me, although....'
She snaps a finger and a table with two seats on opposite side appeared in a thin air, if you blink you wouldn't notice a table and chair just appeared.
"If I'm visitor as such I might consider renovating this place to suit the needs." She said as she took a seat.
"So then... what's the point calling me back into your dimension? Do you have any information about the Sirens?" Enterprise-80 said as she also took a seat.
"No I don't have any...." Code-G responds.
She then showed her what is all going at Washington D.C. and at the hearing at Capitol Hill. Enterprise-80 felt pity with all the Naval Officers got the pointing finger of the blame by the Congressmen and Senators. She watches all the troubles they made as the list of equipment they ordered is reaping down Adm. Matthew like a rug.
".... Damn...." she muttered in reaction to the whole hearing.
"Looks like your right about the rippling effect of my actions." Code-G said lamenting at her actions of abducting Enterprise-80 and her whole escort.
Enterprise-80 wave-off her hand. "Your situation is more dire than American politician bickering at one another." She said with a smile.
"Thank you...."
"Although... you have to remember this...." She said while raising a figure to get Code-G's attention.
"Americans are the stubbornest creatures among the people that existed in my world, if there's a crisis they'll bounce back with/or without big explosion."
Code-G let out a little chuckle as she finds it humorous. "It seems you got the traits of your former Admiral."
"Yeah.... It felt like I have a deep connection with him." Enterprise-80 as she remembers Adm. Pike.
"So... what is the real purpose of this meeting?" Enterprise-80 changes the subject as she didn't want to remember that fateful day.
"Actually this."
In a snap of a finger 12 Wisdom Cube floats around them majestically before all 12 of it landed at the center of the table while emitting a bluish hue glow.
"Think of it as gift.
Code-G smile as she said those words.
