Chapter : 26 : Arriving At The Secret Base :
Location : A Jungle Outside Konohagakure No Sato Village :
At this moment Takeru was walking through a forest away from the konoha village while looking around for something .
It has been almost two weeks since he got his new character template powers and a lot has happened .
And almost all of it brought him nothing but a headache .
First of all, after falling asleep that day he woke up the next morning at 10:00 a.m.
Fortunately it was a holiday so he would not be missing his Academy classes .
But that was the least of his problems .
When he went outside to the market he found that everyone was acting strange .
There were more people in the market area talking to each other as if discussing something very important .
And when he heard the contents of that information he felt a comical chill go down his spine .
And it was that time that he understood what the system meant that nature itself would react tonight .
Yes just the same night when he got his power and was dreaming peacefully the entire village and the world had witnessed something else .
According to random people talking on the streets and from his own friends he heard that a strange event occurred that night .
First of all the ground started shaking a little so people thought that it was a small earthquake and many of them came out of their houses .
But when they came out they saw a scene that they had never witnessed before .
In the night sky they saw the appearance of a creature that looked like a dragon before it vanished into thin air .
The site only lasted for a few seconds and yet the effect it created among the people was huge .
Immediately afterwards people started to panic, some believing that it was yet another attack on their village .
While this new era has been mostly peaceful the people of the village still remembered the terror of the old days .
Immediately people started to shift to a panic mode .
And it was only after the intervention of the shinobi force who calmed everything down did it stop a little .
And yet for the next few days the incident would create more and more news .
After all, such an incident could not be hidden for long .
TV news channels , newspapers , etc spread everywhere .
People started to come and give interviews and describe what they saw .
Obviously when such a thing happens it tends to get mixed up a lot. Some people spice things up and make it more dramatic .
But more importantly the incident was not isolated just to Konohagakure No Sato .
It happened in the sky and the area of effect was so big almost everyone from all the big villages saw the thing .
And for those who did not witness they quickly learned about it from those who did .
Coming back to the village the buzz regarding the situation was not stopping down .
At the end of the day Uzumaki Naruto had to come forward and clear the situation.
And it was only under the words of the hero of the shinobi world did the panic finally die down .
However soon a new wave of excitement replaced the earlier panic .
Under the guidance of various theory makers people started to wonder what the scene was .
This ranged from a coincidence to some kind of a supernatural indicator .
But the ones who were most excited about this part were the academy students.
Since that day, almost every time Takeru went to class the students have been talking about it .
Hell ! It seems just a few days ago some of them even formed a group around this topic .
In short it was a headache .
And as the main reason for this commotion Takeru really felt awkward .
' I mean who would have thought something like this would happen . '
To him it was nothing but unnecessary attention .
Fortunately just like the system said nothing pointed at him being directly related to this event .
So at least his identity as the next child of prophecy was safe for now .
But this event proved a very clear point to him .
' I won't be able to hide and continue to increase my strength for long . '
' One day perhaps very soon my identity will be exposed . '
' And even if it does not happen the way the system is working and my luck goes on it is an iron fact that I will be receiving more spotlight attention . '
' I need to prepare for that scenario soon enough . '
Just thinking about it filled him with determination to continue and increase his strength further .
" But first today I need to look at something else . "
Looking at the system panel in front of him he could see a map it was leading him through the jungle .
At this point some of you may wonder why he was in this jungle in the first place ?
And what kind of map was the following ? Is it a treasure map?
If you all thought the second then you are wrong this is certainly not the map to lead to one piece that is a work for the future pirate King to find 😂 😂 .
Alright back to the main topic .
If you would remember when he completed his first character template he got many rewards.
This included a secret base outside Konoha .
And right now he was following that map to go and see that base for himself .
" Well I wanted to do that a lot sooner before today . "
" After that incident the security around the village got very tight so there was no way for me to get out . "
But even if he was a little late the excitement bubbling up inside him .
I mean come on think about it in our childhood we have always thought of having such a place like the superheroes did .
" Well it must be somewhere around here . "
Looking at a forested area around him, Takeru was confused .
Because according to the map in the system panel the entrance to his new base should be around here .
But all he could see at this moment was endless green .
" Hey system your sure this map is showing the right location because I can't see any base . "
" Moreover is this new base really safe? I mean it's only 40 km away from the village ! "
" "
Ding ! System Notification : Don't worry host , the place is perfectly hidden from normal shinobi senses and without the system's help even a seasoned jonin won't be able to find this place .
" "
" Well I guess I will have to believe you then . "
After sometime of successfully looking around he decided to try something else.
Using his extraordinary sensing ability, the Senju Hashirama template started to send the surrounding area .
While doing so he found the signatures of deer, wild pig , birds and even some predators at a distance .
It was like he was 3D scanning the forest in detail .
And yet much to his surprise the skill could not find the hidden base .
" Man ! If someone with my current capabilities cannot find it then the system really did an excellent job in this regard . "
He had already mastered in a huge amount of the powers of the first and by this point his sensory skills alone had surpassed almost every standard shinobi out in the world .
And if he cannot find this place then the possibility of anyone else doing it as long as they are not above the first level is next to none .
" I guess I will be following the system map for a while . "
With his first attempt ending in failure he once again started to follow the map very closely .
It was after another 10 minutes of searching he found what he was looking for .
In a very remote area of the Jungle behind some fallen rock structures there was a hidden entrance to a cave .
The thing was so well hidden that even experienced scouts may not notice the thing immediately .
" Well done, let's go inside and see whether or not the system's craftsmanship is good . "
After he came close he followed the system's instruction and placed his hand on top of the ground and allowed his chakra to flow through it .
This was the mechanism of this entrance which would only open after confirming his chakra signature .
" Crack !! "
In the very next moment with a little shake in the ground the hidden entrance to the cave opened up .
Following this Takeru quickly went inside with a torch in his hand to navigate through the darkness .
" Well let's see if there is a light source here or not . "
After reaching the base of the cave through a staircase he looked around and found a light switch nearby .
" Click !! "
The next moment the light in the underground shelter opened up revealing something magnificent inside .
" Holly hell this is huge . "
Looking at the space in front of him which was easily the size of two football fields .
The walls and the floors were covered with various markers to keep it safe and strong while also helping in its cover against outside detection .
All of this was far beyond anything he had expected.
" To be honest I had expected something like a cave or just a basic rudimentary small house . "
But what he was seeing in front was more than enough to become a perfect training ground where he can test his new capabilities .
" But first let's do some testing. "
Looking at the Fuinjutsu seals on the wall , which were faintly glowing in the light Takeru had an idea .
Immediately he went forward and took a battle stance .
After concentrating his power in a punch he struck the wall with full force .
" Boom !! "
When his punch finally landed on the wall a eath shuttering sound was made .
And yet much to his satisfaction the wall did not break and instead the energy of the strike was dispersed among the seals .
One must understand that at this point after gaining a fraction of the physical power of Diane his strength in pure raw power has increased by a lot .
While he certainly did not use his full power strike yet the fact that seals in the room were strong enough to stand and disperse the kinetic energy behind his punch was already very good .
" This is actually far better than any commercially available seals in the market that would cost in huge numbers . "
" And here I am getting things that are far better than that for essentially free . "
This was a good development for him .
Not only was this place big enough to accommodate his training but it was also strong enough to handle his increasing power.
Which means from now onwards he won't have to entirely depend on his training in the shinobi Academy or village grounds .
This would reduce the risk of his new powers getting exposed prematurely while giving him a closed area to train without concerning himself with collateral damage .
" While I still would have to maintain some amount of training within the village ground to keep an image . "
" But from now onwards I will be able to shift more freely towards this area . "
Moreover even outside training purposes this place could become useful for him in future if he ever needed to rest or for something else .
" But still there is one tiny little problem . "
Looking at the nearly empty space inside a smile appeared on his face .
" I guess it's time for a full on decoration . "

This includes less authors note between the story which I have seen to have been creating a bad effect while reading the story . Obviously when it is important I will give some author's notes but the amount will be reduced a lot .
Another change that I will be doing is that I will be fixing the consistency of the updates and releasing new chapters which I have seen to be one of my greatest hurdles in my previous works .
Also there will be some other fixing so I hope you can understand what I am trying to say here .
And for these reasons I believe that by the start of the next month I will be able to release this new novel or it might take a little longer to write .
But whatever it takes I will give you more updates in the future and I hope you will support me just like you have done so in my previous works .
