How come i never heard of her again in the future? And i didn't remember who she was until now.
It was odd that i forgot someone as important as her in my life. How did i not notice?
A few moments later, class started. Good thing i remembered the seat where i was supposed to be on.
I missed this vibe, and this classroom that's about to be filled with joyful memories together. I had a thought in my mind that maybe this was a chance to turn my life around again..
Yes i know i already succeeded before time leaping but it still wasn't enough for me. I only managed to do it after my parents had already passed away. I couldn't repay them back for the love and care that they gave me.
This is a chance handed by God himself.. in order to make things right, i will correct my life!
*Class started*
In the next 7 hours, i listened nonstop and took notes, i took my studies seriously this time because in my old life i neglected it quite a lot which caused me to only have average grades.
"Hey, you're pretty different this year. YOU are actually taking notes lol" Adrian laughing said to me because he sits right next to me.
"Shut it! This is for my future!" I said to him seriously but also laughing quite a bit.
We both silently laughed at the back of the classroom while our teacher was discussing.
After class, i went straight home, wanting to see my parents again after so many years.
I opened the door and the scent of warm, delicious cooking of my mother hit me like a storm. It was very nostalgic and very beautiful.
I ran towards them and hugged my mon and dad. I missed them, i missed this feeling of comfort and security.
While hugging them, i didn't notice that I began to shed tears. My mom immediately thought i was being bullied on the first day of school like she always does back then..
"I'm okay mom, i just missed you guys.." I said while my tears are dropping.
"You've just been away for 7 hours champ, it was probably tough for you too huh." My dad said as he embraced me tighter.
Only 7 hours... But it felt like i was in a nightmare for 7 years.
I went to the bathroom to wash up and clean myself before eating dinner. When i was sitting on the dinner table, i almost cried again.
Warm food, warm atmosphere, a house full of love and support.. i missed this feeling.
As i finished dinner, i went upstairs to my room to sleep. My room felt nostalgic, my first guitar which i sold in my previous life due to financial problems is here.. i missed this.
After gathering my thoughts, i immediately thought that with this phenomenon that's happening, aren't i able to change some events that are about to take place in the next few months..?
However, i knew this wasn't the brightest idea because i had read a book somewhere that stated that time shouldn't be disrupted or it would create a time paradox and might alter the future heavily. All events are connected and must not be stopped in order to create the desired future.
Knowing this, i knew i had to ask Adrian tomorrow. So then i slept.
The next morning, as i was walking on my way to school, i also found Christine on her way there. So i immediately approached her.
She was as beautiful as the day we..
Wait, did we ever even broke up?..
It felt like there was a barrier inside my memories which prevented me from remembering further.
"Christine! Good morning!" I greeted her with a smile.
"Hello.. how did you know my name?" She asked in a surprised manner.
Oh crap.. I forgot, we didn't speak to each other yet until 2 weeks later during a group project..
"Ah.. my friend Adrian told me! Haha.." I awkwardly said as i scratched the back of my head.
She just smiled and said "Oh, it's a good day.. Mr?"
"Oh, it's Eitan, Eitan Lewis" I offered her a handshake.
"Nice to meet you, Mr. Lewis" She said while shaking my hand and smiling.
Christine had always been an outgoing type of person but shy when it comes to certain things. The one thing that i loved about her was her ability to understand the people around her and how she can lift their mood up with just a smile.
I walked with Christine, and after arriving in school and entering our classroom, our classmates made a fuss about it.
"Woah!! They're entering together!"
"It's still the 2nd day but there's already a chemistry between those two?! Bravooo"
They shouted.
"Way to go Eitan HAHA LOL" Adrian said while laughing.
I smacked the shit out of him. "Shut the fuck up!"
Christine was unfazed by the shouts of our fellow classmates so in order to gain a good impression, i remained nonchalant.
Class started again and after a few hours, Christine approached me and asked "Do you wanna go to the canteen together?"
Hearing this shocked me! But i must remain a cool, nonchalant person.
"Sure" I replied to her while ignoring our classmates shouting. They're more overjoyed than i am.
On our way to the canteen, i asked her "Why did you suddenly asked me to go here together?"
"Oh, i also don't know.. it just felt like it was okay to ask you.." She answered while having a bit of an embarrassed tone.
Was this perhaps an effect caused by time leaping?..
"I don't know why but my guts are telling me that you're a good and trustworthy person.." She said as she smiles a bit.
Hearing this, i couldn't stop myself from feeling embarrassed and blushing.
