Chapter 379 - Chapter 306: Karin’s Day

"Shinho-nii, what do you want to eat?" She slipped off her shoes and straddled his lap, her black over-the-knee socks swaying lightly.

"Aren't you worried Aunt Chisori might see you like this?" Although Shinho's line of sight was blocked by Karin, he could sense Chisori not far away.

"What's there to be afraid of?" Karin asked, as though what was happening were perfectly natural.

"…" Shinho's mouth twitched. She's even bolder than I am.

Not that he minded, he'll just teach her a lesson on the evening.

"Get off for a second. I'll peel an apple." He patted her on the hip and spoke.

"No need for all that." Karin pressed her legs together and leaned back, her slender waist showing surprising flexibility.

Shinho's gaze traveled downward. Honestly, the sight was pretty plain, with just some slight curves. If this were Tsunade or Samui doing that move, it'd be a total avalanche in motion.

"Here!" Karin reached over to the coffee table, picked up an apple, straightened up, and handed it to him.

"It will be harder to peel like this." Shinho shook his head. Karin was too close, and he didn't have much space work his arm.

"I've got a way." Karin curved her lips into a smile, stretched out both arms, and wrapped them around him. A faint, delicate fragrance spread through the air.

Shinho shifted his angle, threading his arms around her until his hands were positioned behind her back. Now there really was more room to maneuver.

He gave her a strange look. Am I the one being taken advantage of here?

Karin leaned in toward his neck and inhaled his scent. Her warm breath made his skin tingle. Before long, he felt heat against him.

Shinho glanced down to see Karin licking at him like a cat, her soft lips roaming over his skin.

His breathing grew heavier. She was playing with fire…

"You mentioned you'd make a request on your birthday. What was it again?" Trying to focus, Shinho changed the subject and started peeling the apple.

Mainly because Chisori was cooking in the kitchen.

If there's going to be payback, it can wait until after dinner.

"Huh?" Karin's hazy eyes cleared a little. Her cheeks reddened. "You…you'll stay the night with me."

"That so?" Shinho smiled. "All right, I'll stay."

Hearing that, Karin's heart began to race. Pressing close to his cheek, she took a breath and said, "Mm."

"Here's your apple." He offered her the peeled apple.

Karin glanced at him, then stuck out her tongue and licked it before taking a bite.

"Eat like normal person, lady!" Shinho gave her butt a firm smack.

She let out a muffled yelp, her body trembling briefly, cheeks flushing bright red. Obediently, she took the apple from him.

Shinho set down the fruit knife and wrapped his arms around her waist.

He watched as Karin chewed the apple, already contemplating how he'd punish her tonight.

Though with her abilities, it might turn into another Ichikishima-hime scenario.

Still, maybe if she use the Yin Seal, she can last a bit longer.

"Want a bite?" Karin waved the apple in front of him.

"I'm good." Shinho shook his head.

Karin took another bite, then held it up to him again. Her cheeks were slightly puffed, her lips glistening, and her gaze was expectant.

Shinho leaned in and kissed her directly.

Karin's eyes went wide.

She felt his passion in that kiss. But the apple was stil in her mouth, and it could very well choke her.

That's gonna kill me, right?

Stray thoughts flickered through her mind.

But unlike before, she didn't pull away. Instead, she squirmed closer to him, answering his warmth with her own.

At length, their lips parted. Karin's face was flushed red, her eyes hazy as she stared at Shinho.

After a moment, she scooted back a bit.

"So, um…should I…do you need me to…?" She took a deep breath, struggling to speak.

"Let's eat first." Shinho shook his head.

"All right. Whatever you say." Karin opened her mouth as if to say something more, then fell quiet, eyes cast down.

"Go help in the kitchen." Shinho reached out to tidy her hair.

He was aware of Chisori's state thanks to the Territory Immortal Gu surrounding their home.

After seeing what had happened in the living room, she was surely feeling conflicted, unsure whether or not to come out and face them.

"Mm." Karin hopped lightly off his lap and landed gently on her feet, then turned and went to the kitchen.

Before long, a steaming hot meal was laid out on the table.

"Shinho," Chisori said gently, "try it and see how it tastes."

"Aunt Chisori, your cooking is as good as ever." Shinho picked up a piece of fried shrimp.

"Oh, I'm nothing special," Chisori replied with a smile, "Your own cooking is far better than mine."

"Why are you suddenly comparing cooking skills?" Karin glanced between them, a little confused.

"You're the worst cook of all," Chisori said, before adding in a concerned tone, "What will you do once you're married?"

"I'll just eat," Karin announced proudly. "After all, someone's really good at cooking."

She shot Shinho a mischievous look as she spoke.

"Karin." Chisori reached out and tapped her daughter's forehead gently. "There won't be people to take care of you at all times. You should still learn."

"Well, you're still around, right?" Karin said, holding her mother's wrist. "You're going to live with us, aren't you?"

"I…" Chisori hesitated, recalling the scene in the living room earlier.

If we're all living together every day… I'll see a lot more than I bargained for.

"The palace is huge," Shinho added with a laugh. "You can both move in."

"..." Chisori hesitated, then slowly nodded.

Strictly speaking, he was her son-in-law, but given Shinho's position and status, Chisori had to do as he says. Not that she even thought about refusing his offer.

"But you still need to learn to cook," Chisori said, following up.

"All right." This time, Karin didn't argue. She spoke with a sudden burst of determination, "Starting tomorrow, I'm going to become the best cook ever!"

Moving into the palace meant a ton of competition.

Karin knew very well that if she didn't pick up enough skills, she wouldn't be able to keep Shino's attention.

After dinner, Chisori sensibly took her leave. Karin turned to Shinho, her cheeks flushed. She didn't say anything, but the look in her eyes said it all.

Shinho glanced toward the kitchen, then scooped her up in his arms and headed to the bedroom. He'd been stirred up for quite a while, it was time to teach her a proper lesson.

Realizing what was about to happen, Karin's face lit with anticipation.

She had imagined this moment long ago.

And now it was finally here.

Unlike other kunoichi, her dream had always been simple:

Living happily together with Chisori and Shinho, with just the three of them.

She and her mother had endured enough hardship in Kusagakure. Having survived that hell, she was determined to cling to the bright future before them.

Clothes fell to the floor.

Out of instinct, Karin folded her arms over her chest.

Her fair skin now revealed soft curves.

Shinho's eyes lit up.

It was better than he expected.

"Sh–Shinho…"

Karin looked away, clearly flustered.

Although she'd been bold before, Karin ultimately had no real life experience.

Now that everything was actually happening, she found herself at a loss.

"Relax your body first,"

Shinho spoke gently.

"Mm."

Karin lay on the bed, unable to look at him directly, her face burning red.

Shinho lowered his gaze.

Her fair, delicate figure filled his view, trembling slightly with each breath.

She wasn't particularly voluptuous, but everything about her was perfectly proportioned and radiated a youthful charm.

He bent down, pressing his body against hers until they were face-to-face.

Karin instinctively looked at him, her eyes flitting away, a hint of nervousness in them.

"Karin."

Shinho placed his hand over her heart.

"Y-Yes?"

She answered, voice quivering.

"Happy birthday,"

Shinho said with a small smile.

"Th-thank you…"

Karin froze for a second, then murmured shyly.

Before long, she clutched at the pillow, her body trembling. Her legs stretched out straight, toes curling tightly.

"S-Shinho,"

she finally managed, after a few moments, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Are you okay?"

Shinho noticed the tears at the corners of her eyes.

"I'm just…really happy,"

Karin said with a slight frown, but then she added with a challenge in her voice, "Don't forget, I'm a medical ninja who have mastered the Yin Seal."

"You really don't know when to quit,"

Shinho snorted lightly.

Karin was about to say something when her pupils suddenly contracted.

It was as though she'd fallen into a whirlwind, her senses becoming overwhelmed.

In the empty living room, Chisori emerged from the kitchen to find the two of them gone.

Did they go out somewhere?

She glanced around on instinct.

Suddenly, a thought occurred to her, and her heart nearly stopped.

No way…

That's so…unreserved.

Chisori bit her lip.

After a few moments of hesitation, she closed her eyes.

As a member of the Uzumaki clan, aside from mastery of sealing techniques, she also possessed formidable sensory abilities.

Through her jutsu, her senses expanded and Karin's situation instantly popped into her mind.

Chisori's entire body went rigid, her face growing hot.

Her always-daring daughter was currently being held by the head, back arched, completely under Shinho's control.

He was behind her, giving her a rather merciless "lesson."

Chisori hastily withdrew her sensory jutsu, breathing deeply in an attempt to compose herself, cheeks still flaming.

She took a few steps back to her room, shut the door, and slowly lowered herself to the floor.

Pressing a hand to her chest, she gradually calmed down.

As long as Karin's happy… she thought.

And clearly, she was very happy. On her birthday, she was immersed in a kind of bliss that completely overwhelmed her.

A new day dawned.

Shinho woke up under a soft yet substantial weight.

Raising his eyes, he saw Karin sitting upright.

Shinho was momentarily stunned.

Yin Seal certainly was impressive…

But Karin is still so inexperienced, even though she's enthusiastic.

"G-good morning,"

Karin mumbled shyly when she noticed his gaze. "You seem really energetic."

"I've got work soon,"

Shinho said, placing his hands around her waist.

Karin froze, fear and anticipation flickering across her face.

Ten minutes later, her eyes rolled back, and all her strength seemed to drain away until only the faint twitch of her fingers showed she was still alive.

She fell asleep wearing a blissful smile.

Shinho changed clothes. Upon opening the door, he saw Chisori.

"Breakfast is almo—"

She froze mid-sentence when she caught sight of Karin.

"…"

Shinho cleared his throat, shut the door, and said, "I have some business to attend to, so I'll be off."

Chisori remained speechless until after he left.

She opened and closed her mouth, thinking, He's really something…

The Uzumaki clan was known for its strong bodies and remarkable healing ability.

For Karin to be reduced to such a state meant Shinho was quite formidable indeed.

But then again, it made sense. Shinho was, after all, known as the strongest in the ninja world.

Chisori pushed the door open again to find Karin still fast asleep.

She shook her head slightly.

Though Karin had clearly gone through quite a lot, she also looked rather content.

Strangely enough, Chisori even felt a slight pang of envy.

At the Hokage's office, Shinho entered to see Konan's graceful figure.

Having already been "helped" by Karin earlier, he felt neither stir nor calm, just a steady focus.

"Lord Hokage,"

Konan greeted him softly, then went back to sorting documents.

"Anything important today?"

He walked up to her.

"Not particularly,"

Konan replied, pausing briefly. "But there's a message from the Sage of Six Paths."

"Oh? What is it?"

Shinho's expression grew more serious.

"He says that Naruto and Sasuke have pretty much grasped everything they need to,"

Konan relayed.

"That fast?"

Shinho said in mild surprise. "Maybe this is the bond between father and sons?"

"Father and son?"

Konan echoed, puzzled.

"Curious?"

Shinho asked with a smile.

Konan nodded.

It was, after all, a matter involving the legendary Six Paths Sage.

Why had he reappeared?

And what was this father and son connection shinho spoke of?

Wasn't Naruto born to his own parents, and Sasuke likewise?

"So…what's in it for me if I explain?"

Shinho's eyes slid toward Konan's lips.

Unlike some of the other women, she wore a small piercing beneath her lower lip, and one at her navel too.

For someone so cool and elegant, it was an alluring contrast.

Konan pressed her lips together, then leaned in and kissed him.

Just as she was about to pull away, he wrapped his arms around her, deepening it until they clung to each other like coiled serpents.

At last, Konan managed to break for air.

She gasped, glancing at his hands on her thighs. Her voice was husky as she asked, "So…can you tell me now?"

"Of course."

Shinho licked his lips and told her the story of Asura and Indra.

All the while, his hands wandered higher, only to be intercepted just as they neared her most sensitive spot.

"I-I see. Thank you, Lord Hokage."

Konan took a step back, legs feeling weak, but she managed not to collapse.

"Notify the Sage of Six Paths. Tell him to bring Naruto and Sasuke to that same wasteland as last time tomorrow at nine in the morning."

Shinho, enjoying her flushed appearance, smiled as he spoke.

"Understood."

Konan steadied herself, thinking how absurd the situation was.

He'd taken advantage of her just moments before, and now he was right back to business, as though nothing had happened.

Shinho turned toward the window.

Kaguya Otsutsuki…

It's finally coming down to the last step, hadnt it?

Well, not truly the "last."

There are still other disasters lurking in the future of this ninja world.

But by the time they arrive, Shinho would likely be a fully transcendent being, around the seventh or eighth rank in Immortal Gu terms, and would have no need to fear anything.
