Chapter 153 - Just in Case

Asti stepped into the small roadside café in baggy clothes and a tote bag, glad that Bianca followed her instructions and did the same.

She was wearing only a simple knitted vest that looked old, with a long skirt that reached the floor. Her hair was left undone, while in her hands, she held a cup of tea.

She looked extremely comfortable, which annoyed Asti a little. Someone who was as wealthy and rich as her, who had everything she ever wanted, was supposed to at least look uncomfortable with her surroundings. But Bianca looked as if she belonged and was very much alright with it.

It reminded Asti that she would never be alright with it, and the idea of having to live this life one day, if things didn't go according to her plan, was like a dip in the darkest of cold waters.

No, she thought as she walked over to where she was.

Bianca looked up. "Oh, you're here. I was starting to think you got lost."
