"Yo, Verdy, what's up, bro?" Keldo called out with a big smile as he walked over.
"Keldo, long time no see, man! I'm good, how about you?" Verdy answered, raising his hand for an energetic high-five. Their palms clapped together with a sharp smack.
"I'm doing alright," Keldo said, shaking his friend's hand before looking him up and down. He squinted, putting on a fake offended look. "Wait a second… I just got back from my trip, and what do I see? Did you grow like five centimeters? We used to be the same height, man. How'd you pull that off?"
Verdy burst out laughing and shook his head. "I swear, I hadn't even noticed until I saw you looking shorter next to me!"
"Yeah, yeah, sure," Keldo grumbled, crossing his arms with a sulky pout. Then his eyes slid over to the car Verdy was leaning against, its red curves gleaming under the passing headlights. "Still, that car of yours is seriously cool, man. Where'd you dig that up?"
