The evening arrived, and Zero finally opened his eyes after a long sleep. He woke up rubbing his eyes, left the bed and the only thought he was having was, "What if she has ran away? Maybe, I already allowed her...or what if she would be lying dead by starvation or by... anaconda? No, anaconda won't."
Zero was just thinking anything, smiled laughing from inside by thinking of the question "what if" and finally opened the door and came out of the bedroom.
Zero looked at the scene, it was looking silent...and he started sweating, "Alpha didn't die...right?"
Zero finally started walking ahead and looked at the living room, there was nothing except his bag and notebook and a wood, maybe she tried to write something? Zero kept his eyes away and looked at the kitchen and now...he started sweating.
Alpha was lying on the floor, looking dead and holding a knife.
"Did you kill yourself, Alpha?" Zero just asked as a joke and he came to Alpha and saw her one hand was covered with blood.
Zero still stay calm, and realized that Alpha has cut her finger, "So you were trying to make something...and then cut your finger and died by starvation, knowing that you can't even make sandwich, is that the case?"
Alpha finally showed her face, she was crying, tearing for hunger and hold Zero's hand and with struggle said, "...Make... something for me...I will die by hunger...for sure."
Zero was controlling his laugh and he firstly raised Alpha, picked her up on his shoulders and then took him to the living room and lied her silently.
Alpha's face had completely faded by starvation, she was looking completely weak and Zero asked, "Now how can I take you for shopping, in this state? Will you be fine after eating something?"
And suddenly Alpha caught Zero's cheeks tightly and with a little bit of anger said, "Just make lunch for me first and then talk, otherwise forget even about talking to me."
Zero smiled once again, although he could show attitude on her and say her to make her own, but he thought...why to trouble a sick person? So Zero just stood and started walking towards the kitchen and said, "As you say, tell me, what you want to eat."
Alpha took her whole strength to sit properly and she replied, "Just make anything..."
Zero started sweating, for this question only he used to keep potatoes only in the kitchen and other things were for the animals. But now, the same situation?
Zero sighed, "Just tell me what you want to eat, then only I will make. I can't decide on it, not good at decision making at these cases."
Alpha felt angry for a moment, but she just said, "Well, then make hot soup for me."
Thirty minutes passed and Alpha was finally having the soup and Zero was just looking at her and then took his eyes out and looked outside the window.
"You went out for wood? Nothing happened, right?" Zero asked randomly and Alpha looked at the soup, continued her meal and said, "Yes, but not too far."
Zero just looked outside and felt the winds blowing.
"You... didn't think that I tried to kill myself?"
But suddenly Alpha asked a strange question, Zero looked at her and said, "The most important part of my work, is to believe blindly. I believe in my companions blindly, they can kill me at any point or try to betray me, but I believe in them. Same goes for you, I believed in you that you won't try such a foolish thing."
Alpha showed her bloody arm and said, "Will you still believe in me?"
Zero looked at Alpha's arm, and...she actually tried to kill herself by the knife and wrist. But Zero just smiled, stood and went somewhere.
But Alpha's eyes widened...she looked at the floor, and...there was a drop of tear which was of Zero. She was in a great shock...not understanding.
Zero wiped his tears at the bathroom and picked up the first aid and came back to the living room in front of Alpha and started giving the first aid.
Alpha couldn't understand, Zero hold her bloody arm-- but she suddenly took her arm back and shouted, "Stop caring about me!!! Do you even know me?! Do you know our standards?! You are nothing!!! Stop faking and just tell the truth!!!"
Zero smiled, "I don't know whether this caring or what, but you are something for me... It took me a thousand life to just save you. You won't understand how much I struggled for it, but...I don't think I have any other choice. If you died, then I will love again and stop you... that's only what I can do."
Alpha didn't understand anything, and she shouted with anger again, "I am leaving this poor place, you are nothing but just an idiot, thinking it as a love!"
Alpha was trying her best to hurt Zero's emotions, but he could listen anything. Even if it hurts him, he doesn't care, he never cared about himself anyways.
Zero hold Alpha's bloody arm once again and said, "I don't think it's love, I never understood it. And maybe I would be an idiot, but I am just doing my duty, my responsibility. And thinking about leaving home, you are free to leave. I will just call Leader and she will take you at her home, it would be luxurious than my poor one."
Alpha was left stunned, Zero took out the bandage and started giving the treatment and Alpha couldn't take it back again. She was shocked, she couldn't understand it. Tears filled Alpha's eyes, and she looked down and started tearing, looking down.
"Why...? Why are you...? I... don't even know you...but...why are you giving me so much... Why...?"
The bandage covered her arm and Zero stood, went to the bedroom, picked up a thick blanket and covered Alpha and finally sat next to her, keeping a distance of ten centimetres and Alpha continued crying, while feeling cold.
"...why...? Who...are you for me...?"
