The late night arrived, and Zero was walking with lots of bags, some were in his hands, and some were on his shoulders. While Alpha was also holding some stuff in her hands but it wasn't too heavy.
Alpha and Zero continued walking on the forest, moving to the home. But Alpha had a question which was making her feel guilty and she just asked, "...Why did we had to keep money on the table, we could just hand them the money in their hands...it looked rude, like we are discriminating and having issue."
Zero looked up at the sky, thought for a second and answered, "It was so that they won't think we have stole the things."
Alpha was confused, "How?"
"They would forget us once they keep their eyes off from us. If we handed them the money, then they kept in the box and if they looked at us again, they would have forgotten us and if they would have forgotten the money, they would look at us strangely, like we are stealing or something. I didn't mean by making you rude, but it was just the case of us. And it can't be helped."
Alpha thought for a while...and smiled.
"Makes sense."
Alpha was finally on her bed, she looked at her room corner and it was completely covered with the bags of the things she brought. She smiled with a sweat and mumbled, "There's too much... And he took nothing, except the utensils...is he not interested in things?"
Zero was ready to go for his job and he wore his whole face cover mask and finally started leaving.
"I am leaving, go and sleep Alpha. Stay safe and good night."
Alpha smiled and lied on her bed looking outside the window.
Zero got out of his home, closed the door and started leaving.
The midnight arrived, Alpha was sleeping peacefully.
But suddenly the door of the house opened slightly. A eye came, peeking in the house and a voice came.
"...Mama..."
The door opened completely but slowly, someone started stepping in and walking on the wooden floors slowly slowly, looking at everywhere and continued walking.
The dear bear was sleeping peacefully, and he just opened his eyes by looking at the stranger. Dear bear wasn't shocked by seeing the stranger like he knows it, he didn't do anything and just lied down and slept again.
The little stranger kept on keeping her steps on the floor. She was looking everywhere at each wall to each piece of wooden floor. She came to the living room and kitchen, and stopped for a second.
The stranger turned towards the kitchen and started searching for her own things.
Zero heard strange footsteps who were too much low, but he just ignored it, believing that at least his animals would react and make some voice which they didn't, so he just took it as an illusion and continued patrolling.
Zero came to Alpha's crushed house...and he suddenly started sweating. The Mistress was looking at her home and her things and just picking up the things even if they were destroyed. Zero wasn't caught, he was still out of her eyes but her behavior looked completely strange.
Suddenly the Mistress looked back at him and till that time, Zero had disappeared.
"Hey...can I try to consume her soul?" Zero asked with a very low voice and the System arrived.
>"No, don't try that. She looks strong, and even if she would be like the others, normal one, your job is to just observe and save if humans are being hunted. Don't take a step ahead on her."<
The reply was disappointing but Zero can't stand against the advice anyways. He just sighed and disappeared once again.
The whole milk had been finished, and the little stranger wiped her lips by her hands and started walking to Alpha's room.
It was 2 a.m. now and Alpha's room door opened slightly. The little stranger peeked in the room and saw Alpha sleeping with a cute smile.
"...Mama..." The little stranger called and Alpha was still in her sleep, but she raised her arms and said, "Yes...your mama is here..."
The little stranger was surprised, a smile of surprises bloomed on her face. She opened the door slowly, closed it also slowly and suddenly ran to the bed.
The little stranger, the small girl with pink hairs, claimed on the bed and lied in front of Alpha and hugged Alpha and closed her eyes. Alpha also smiled brightly during the sleep...and the night continued peacefully.
The dawn started coming, it was now 6 a.m. and Zero finally came back to his home. He smiled, opened the door, entered, then closed the door and finally started walking on the floor.
Zero was unaware of the little stranger. Everything looked fine, normal and he was just going to move to the kitchen to make the breakfast...but he suddenly saw, milk was completely finished. Zero was surprised, "Milk wouldn't end so soon...I think."
But Zero just assumed that Alpha would have drink. He had no problem with it. He was just going to come and start preparing for his breakfast...but suddenly he started sweating. He noticed the door of the bedroom was opened slightly.
But again, he just assumed that Alpha would have just forgotten to close. But still...he was a little bit worried, so he started walking towards the door to close it.
Zero came to the door and was just going to close the door without looking-- but suddenly he smelled...of something different, something strange...he was sure it wasn't the smell of Alpha.
Zero just looked in the room at the bed...and he was left frozen.
The little pink hair stranger was sleeping next to Alpha and Alpha was also sleeping peacefully with her... looking like mother and daughter.
Zero started sweating, he didn't take a single second, picked up his phone and dialed the call to Leader.
