Chapter 400 - Ambition

Using a golden portal fashioned after Yugo's, Vahn emerged with the hat-wearing youth, Percedal, and Ruel trailing behind him. As he expected it would, the portal's structure caused Grougaloragran's eyes to widen, his cataract-ridden pupils contracting slightly in shock.

"Well met, Grougaloragran. I am Vahn Mason, the Dragon God of Infinite Possibilities. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance," stated Vahn, his words causing Grougaloragran's brows to crease—not from anger. Rather, it was like he was attempting to see through to the truth of Vahn's words by staring directly into his soul.

"You're the one who left me that message back in Emelka, right?" asked Yugo, drawing Grougaloragran's attention as he stepped forward, nervous but hopeful. In the message he was referring to, written in ancient dragon script, Grougaloragran's voice had said that he could locate his family and people by traveling to Oma Island. Now that the person who had left the message was right in front of him, he had to know if it was genuine or just a way to get him to where they currently were.

"That is correct, young Eliatrope..." responded Grougaloragran, nodding decisively before returning his gaze to Vahn and adding, "But before that, I would know where this man claiming to be a Dragon God originates. Tell me, Blinding One. Who is your maker, and how did you come by this world and boy?"

"I come from a plane known as Termina, which serves as a nexus point for countless realities across a broader transdimensional structure known as Invirtua," answered Vahn. "As for how I arrived here and met Yugo and his friends, it was entirely by happenstance."

"And what will you do, now that you're here?" questioned Grougaloragran, exhaling plumes of smoke from his nose.

Shaking his head, Vahn stated, "As I've explained to those here, this isn't my world to save or shape. I am primarily an observer, but also someone who offers opportunities to those who aspire to rise above—to transcend their lot or circumstance."

"Then I believe we may be able to cooperate. But for now, I must speak with Yugo here and send him to the one who has been awaiting him since their birth," stated Grougaloragran.

"Now, hold on just a minute! Yugo is our friend! We're not just going to let you take him from us...!" shouted Percedal, stepping forward with Rubliax at the ready.

"Hmmm...an Iop in possession of a Shushu...you must be a Knight of the Order of the Shushu..." remarked Grougaloragran, his voice a low growl as he narrowed his eyes contemptuously at Rubilax.

"Hey, now...you're not seriously planning to pick a fight with a Dragon, are you...?" asked Rubilax, his cragged, rock-like blade appearing to bead with sweat as he could sense Grougaloragran's power.

"Of course I am...!" responded Percedal, brandishing Rubilax like he was trying to swat a fly as he laughed, "Besides, just look at this guy! He looks like a strong breeze could push him over...!"

"Dally, please wait," interjected Yugo, placing his right hand on Percedal's left forearm to stop him from rushing forward. At the same time, his gaze remained fixed on Grougaloragran as he stated, "It's hard to explain, but I feel like I know this person...and that same feeling is telling me he isn't an enemy..."

"It pleases Grougaloragran to see that your insight has not waned even in this new form..." stated Grougaloragran, bowing his head and crossing his right hand over his body. Shortly thereafter, he and Yugo left through one of the latter's portals to speak in private while the ship kept its heading to an island that had appeared out of nowhere—courtesy of the barrier that had been concealing it receding....

"So does this mean our journey is over? It's a little sad..." sighed Amalia, leaning against Vahn in a cold plunge with his right arm wrapped around her and his left around Eva. He had informed them about the appearance of Grougaloragran, but since he had reassured them that everything was under control, they hadn't left the sauna. Instead, they continued having sex for a while before relocating to the cold plunge to cool down.

"That depends on what you and Eva decide to do from here on..." stated Vahn, closing his eyes and enjoying the aroma of the large, lily-like flower on Amalia's head as he explained, "I'm fairly certain this is just the closing of a single chapter in Yugo's journey. If the two of you choose to continue following him, I imagine you'll have to face off against fiends like that Nox fellow. On the other hand, if you decide to return home, you can introduce me to your father. From there, your Kingdom and my Dragon's Pavilion will likely become increasingly entangled."

"And what if we decide that neither of those paths is for us...?" asked Eva, resting her head against Vahn's chest with her eyes closed as she stated, "Because I never really wanted to be a hero, and spending the rest of my life entangled in politics doesn't sound fulfilling in the slightest..."

"Are you suggesting that we should abandon the Sadida Kingdom, settle down somewhere, or leave our world entirely...?" asked Amalia, sounding surprised but not wholly opposed to the idea. She still had aspirations of making her and Vahn's relationship known throughout the world, elevating her status and thereby that of her Kingdom to its peak. But after spending more than a month together and indulging in Vahn's care and comfort, she wouldn't mind spending the rest of her life in a similar manner.

"I just don't want to make our world's problems Vahn's..." responded Eva, raising her chin and opening her eyes to stare intently at Vahn as he met her gaze with a smoldering smile. Amalia's brows twitched slightly when they suddenly began kissing, but as a second Vahn promptly appeared to her right, she shifted her focus to enthusiastically exchanging saliva with him as he habitually slipped his right hand between her thighs.

Repositioning herself to straddle the second Vahn's lap, Amalia raised her butt and linked her arms around his shoulders, waiting for him to guide his glans to her entrance before seating herself with a shuddering sigh. Then, while smoothly rolling her hips and belly, she turned her head, glancing at Eva and the other Vahn as she argued, "But as much as I felt stifled while I was there, we still have a lot of friends in the royal palace. And this is an opportunity for the Sadida Kingdom to rise up and stop being treated as a resource by every other Kingdom and nation..."

Following Amalia's example, Eva straddled Vahn, her green eyes staring deeply into his deep black pupils and mesmerizing aquamarine irises as she countered, "But that would require Vahn to expose himself. We'd be using his status as a God as both a spear and a shield against the rest of the world...and that's assuming your father and brother accept him. What will we do if they refuse to even permit him to stay in the palace? We can't exactly force the matter...not without becoming villains..."

Since Eva's words were as much for him as Amalia, Vahn guided her to sit flush against him as he calmly responded, "If the only reason they have to refuse me is their pride, then their resistance won't endure. I can breathe life into desolate lands, treat any injury, cure any disease, expel any curse, and uncover secrets long forgotten to time with minimal effort. A Kingdom is ultimately its people. If Amalia's father and brother won't accept me, I'll prove myself by improving the lives of the Sadida and the forests they call home..."

"And if my brother can't accept that, then I'll just have to become the next ruler in his place..." panted Amalia, biting her bottom lip before turning her head sideways and giving Vahn an impassioned kiss. Before meeting him, she wouldn't have accepted her father's position even if it were forced on her. She hated having to play a part and turning a blind eye to things she didn't agree with, so she avoided all things related to politics. Now, with a literal God at her back, she felt as though she could achieve anything and that the Sadida Kingdom would never again have to endure the disdain or increasingly selfish demands of the other nations...

"What about me? Where do I fit in all of this...?" questioned Eva, hugging Vahn and relaxing her head against his shoulder with closed eyes, leaving him to guide the movement of her hips and caress her sides with his extra set of hands.

"Mmnn? Well, I would prefer it if you remained at my side, but if you want to become the Class Queen of the Cra, we could unite our peoples under a single banner. We've already been allies for millennia, and with Vahn at our back, we will never have to worry about people invading our forests or harvesting them for resources ever again..." answered Amalia, her cheeks flushed as she similarly adhered to Vahn's body, allowing him to take over. However, instead of raising and pulling her against him, which would have disturbed the water, his penis expanded and contracted rapidly inside her, hammering her faux womb without the need for excess movement.

"That sounds like a lot of work..." sighed Eva. At the same time, she clung to Vahn more tightly, flexing the muscles of her thighs and trying to tense the interior of her pussy to be as tight as possible. Unlike Amalia, she had very little ambition. Her original plan was to retire the moment Amalia was married off to another nation to strengthen her brother's position, but that had gradually changed as they became friends. And since Amalia was the reason she was able to become one of Vahn's lovers, Eva felt obligated to repay her...

"I'll go with whatever you and Vahn decide..." muttered Eva, sinking her nose into the space between Vahn's jaw and neck to nuzzle him and drink in his scent. She loved everything about him, from the way he smelled to the way his saliva, semen, and even his blood tasted as they warmed her belly and filled her with power. She could imagine a life without him, but it would be an empty existence. Thus, if he chose to support Amalia and her ambitions, she would be right beside them...

"Then, depending on what happens with Yugo and his family, the next stop on our journey will be the Sadida Kingdom..." hummed Amalia, her voice low and tinged with mirth. She could already imagine the disbelief on her brother's face when he learned she was engaged to a God. He, her father, and the leaders of the other nations were bound to want to test his claims to godhood. But after witnessing him manipulate the weather with a wave of his hand and erase the top of a mountain with similar ease, she had no doubt that Vahn would be able to prove himself, freeing her people and Kingdom to rise to ever greater heights...

With such thoughts in mind, Amalia, gazing at Vahn with upturned eyes, traced her tongue along his chin before playfully snapping her teeth as he tried to kiss her. This was the thing she loved most about him, as, despite the tremendous difference in their power and status, he pretty much went along with anything she suggested. There were moments when he would gently admonish and counsel her against certain behaviors, but when the distance between them was reduced to zero, she felt like she was the one in control. She knew this wasn't the case, but the fact that Vahn permitted her to feel that way was gratifying beyond compare...
