Alex opens his eyes and wakes up in a familiar room. Despite the ever-changing locations, the room itself stays more or less consistent.
[Welcome back, Host. Congratulations on surviving yet another difficult mission! This System recognizes a faint hint of divinity. Acquiring a Black Quality item is an incredible achievement, especially at such an early point. This System is immensely pleased with the Host's progress.]
1337's attitude has shifted a lot. It doesn't joke about me dying anymore and is actually being respectful!
"Thanks, 1337… to be honest, I couldn't have made it this far without your help. I'll make it through this—not just for my sake, but for yours as well," Alex says with a smile.
[This System notices that Host has sustained a moderate amount of damage during this mission. Does Host want to spend 10,000 FC for a full recovery?]
"Okay, let's do it!" Alex replies.
Immediately, Alex feels his body lighten up as his injuries begin to mend. Sadly, the ecstatic sensation vanishes just as quickly as it arrives.
At the same moment his recovery finishes, he sees Menchi and Jewel appear next to him.
As soon as Jewel materializes, her many eyes lock onto Alex. Without hesitation, she rushes forward, jumps as high as she can, and lands on top of his face—'hugging' him.

"Okay, Jewel, that's enough," Alex says, his voice slightly muffled.
Princess Jewel is so glad that her Soulmate made it out unharmed! Congratulations!
Alex grabs Jewel's legs and gently pulls her away, holding her up in front of his face—only for her to quickly climb on top of his head and wriggle around in joy.
"It went way better than expected! This time the haul's so big, I'm a little overwhelmed," Alex says.
"It will only get bigger from this point on," Menchi replies, stepping forward and hugging him.
Alex looks at her and sees a confident smirk on her lips.
Did she also achieve some success? Did she succeed with with her project?
"Did you manage to learn how to produce [Omnigel] and [Medigel] by yourself?" Alex asks.
"Of course," she replies smugly.

"Incredible! You did it! Never mind the Medigel—the Omnigel is amazing! I can use it for instant repairs! Since my [Executioner's Blade R2] is so dependent on durability, and [Blood Essences] are rare and expensive, this is the ideal solution for quick fixes," Alex says.
Menchi straightens, her face angled slightly, nose tilted toward the sky.
"...don't let it get to your head, okay?" Alex says, already slightly regretting his earlier praise.
"Hehe, this isn't all! I didn't focus too much on food, because I used all the resources we pooled to finish these two items. They also require quite a few components. I'm not sure how much FC they'll cost to produce, but I'm guessing at least 2,000."
"What more is there? Did you create something useful with the Varren Meat?" Alex asks.
Menchi shakes her head. "Nothing that's better than the items I created in the Harry Potter world. The Varren Meat was too low quality. But I'm going to sell it all to rake in a load of FC. I'm talking, of course, about the two [Krogan Life-Essences] you gave me."

Effect: Increases STR and PHY by 10 for 5 minutes and inflicts the user with a temporary Rage Debuff, which strengthens the user, but also makes them unable to think rationally. The length of the effect depends on the SPR stat.

"Incredible…" Alex says, staring at the item. "It can even be traded… how much FC could you sell this beauty for?!"
"I've never seen stat-raising items being sold. They're extremely precious. Probably half a million FC? Give or take," Menchi says, shrugging her shoulders.
"You have really outdone yourself!" Alex says, praising her, his face full of greed. "Also, I still got two more chests to open—both Purple!"
"Anything else you'd like to tell us?" Menchi asks. "You pretty much messaged us all the incredible items you got from Benezia, the Thorian, and that Black Quality Item."
"No… the items are everything," Alex replies, trying to stay calm.
Princess Jewel has a bad feeling!Now that she isn't worried about her soulmate's safety, she has many questions to ask!
Soulmate did nothing questionable with one of the female crew members, right?Princess Jewel is sure he wouldn't do such a thing.
"Of course not," Alex replies. "I am always the most appropriate type of person, and I rarely take the initiative!"
Then what is Soulmate hiding? Princess Jewel feels her soulmate's unease!
"Something happened," Menchi says, staring at Alex.
"Spill it out!" she demands.
"...I might have, due to no fault of my own, accidentally used my [Forceful Recruitment Token]. I just wanted to test it, since I wanted to know the odds and the details of using it. However, because of my insane LUK, it accidentally worked…." Alex explains.
"..."
Princess Jewel is not convinced! So who did Soulmate end up recruiting?
"Just… Benezia…" Alex replies.
"..."
"You… couldn't resist, could you?" Menchi says, smirking. "You pervert! You chose the mature Asari Matriarch? You could've told me if you wanted a mommy—I could've played the role just fine."
"I actually plead innocence! It was a spur-of-the-moment decision. Seriously, I didn't intend to recruit her. I was actually aiming for Lia—" Alex says, but quickly regrets his honesty as he feels the spider on his head slowly climb down onto his forehead. Numerous red eyes glare at him.
It's not the worst outcome! She sounds like a mature and useful Supporter!
Also, Menchi, consider this. Soulmate is probably not the type of man who would be attractive to a Matriarch like that. She is old, near the end of her life. She is above things like that. This might actually be a good pick. Princess Jewel is satisfied. She wouldn't have accepted any Asari slut, but an old, respectable Matriarch—a religious leader for her people—shouldn't cause any issues!
However, Princess Jewel is aware of Soulmate's collection of images he has tried to hide on his computer… she knows that there is a substantial folder featuring Asari!
"Okay, seriously, stop cyberstalking me, Jewel. That's a little creepy. More importantly, take a look at this: [True Dream Ticket]."
Level 10! So Princess Jewel only has to wait for three more missions until she can finally Evolve!
"You did it," Menchi smiles.
"Yeah… anyway, I think it's best if I pick up Benezia sooner rather than later. Afterwards, I need to open my chests and also contact Rishi and Tereza," Alex says. "I'll send them a few messages while we're on our way to pick her up. After that, I need to take stock of my gains and check my current items. Then there's trading, selling, upgrading… it'll be a hassle."
"I also need to contact a few people. I kept the organs and bones of the Varren and even bought a few extras from other species. If I remember correctly, Player 17 from our guild needs them. And if you want to sell Gold Quality Items, there's also Player 99, remember?" Menchi says, reminding Alex.
"Forget it… I'm not selling a single Gold Quality Item!" Alex states clearly. "Maybe when I'm fully equipped—and so are the others—but that could take ages."
With his body recovered, Alex—with Jewel perched on his head—and Menchi leave Alex's room and end up on the 7th floor of the Player Tower.
"The rooms get fewer and fewer. I'd say there are around 10% fewer rooms than on the lower level," Alex notes.
"We should've used the teleporter to get to our Guild House directly," Menchi says. "We could have avoided the stairs!"
"Nah, it's worth it to descend the tower at least once… after every mission," Alex says. "This experience is worth it."
