Chapter 73 - 73. The Memory Dragon.

Alvin left Natasha in the care of his three apprentices with a simple command.

"Feed her. Do not let her break anything. And if she cries, ignore it. She is dramatic."

Natasha threw a pillow at him. Alvin dodged with the elegance of a cat who had been insulted too many times in life and walked away without looking back.

His apprentices were left staring at Natasha as if she were a newly discovered magical creature.

The eldest apprentice spoke first. "Master told us to feed you. Do you eat normal food or do you require special abyssal nourishment. I have recipes."

Natasha's face blanched. "Normal food. Please."

That was enough for Alvin. Natasha was safe. His apprentices were capable, even if they were troublesome.

He turned and walked through the spiraling halls of the Abyss Tower, cloak trailing behind him, boots clicking against black marble.

A headache pulsed at the back of his mind for the third time that morning.

Something was wrong with his memories.
