Both Samantha and Jasmine pushed their plates and got up as they ran upstairs to play.
My dad watched them run upstairs before he looked at Summer, "Thank you again."
Summer smiled, "I wasn't the only one. Kelly helped too."
He looked at Kel, "Thank you for that."
Kel blushed but nodded.
He looked at his plate as it was nearly empty before he looked up at my mom, "This was delicious honey."
She looked at him and smiled, "Thank you honey."
He looked at us and spoke out loud, "There was something else I wanted to talk to you all about.....what was it?"
He stared at us for a few moments before he snapped his fingers, "That's right. Your different accounts."
He looked at Kel, "I've noticed that you haven't posted a video in a while."
Kel looked at him, "Sorry I've been busy with school and volleyball. And...." She trailed off trying to not admit to her other activities.
He looked at her, "Your new boyfriend?"
Kel blushed but nodded.
He sighed, "Well if you could start doing some videos again I would greatly appreciate it."
He looked at Summer, "Can you make sure she does some videos when you two go to the gym?"
Summer looked at Kel before she smiled at our dad, "Sure Mr. M."
He smiled, "Thanks Summer."
He looked at me, "And you....actually never mind I see you are posting regularly enough."
I nodded.
He smiled and ticked off on his fingers, "Let's see here I've talked to you about school," he ticked off another finger, "found out Kel is in a relationship and she's happy," he looked at Kel, "Right?"
Kel nodded as she blushed.
He ticked off another finger, "Talked about Summer."
He looked at Summer, "Guess I should say welcome to the family."
Summer smiled, "Thanks Mr. M."
He smiled at her as he ticked off another finger, "Talked to you about your accounts."
He spoke out loud, "I swear I had something else to talk about."
My mom spoke, "No, I think that is all babe."
He looked at her, "No I swear I had something else?"
I spoke, throwing in an idea, "Maybe telling us when the studio will be finished?"
He looked at me and blinked before her snapped, "That's right. The studio!"
He pulled out his phone and looked at it, "The contractor tells me it should be finished late January early February." He looked at us, "Once that's done I want a surplus of videos out of you two."
We nodded.
He smiled and ticked off his last finger, "And now the studio." He looked up, "I swear there was something else."
My mom spoke, "I'm sure you'll think of it honey."
He looked at her and smiled, "Maybe you're right."
He looked at us, "If I have any questions that I need clarification I'll text you two." He looked at us, "And you know you all can text me if something happens right?"
Both Kel and I nodded.
He clapped his hands together, "Good." He pushed his plate and stood up to stretch, "Well I'm going to go watch some TV. If you shall excuse me."
With that he walked off and most of the tension evaporated in the room as all of us looked at one another smiling.
My mom leaned back and picked up her wine, "So is there anything I should know about while your father is away."
We looked at one another as both Summer and Kel nodded to me. I looked at my mom and spoke, "Yeah about that....."
I started speaking about our upcoming change and my mom dropped her glass.
My mom stared at me in disbelief.
Finally she spoke...after she dropped her wine glass, "I'm sorry I must have misheard you. You're doing what?"
I sighed, "We're doing an experiment that may or may not change us."
She looked at me incredulously, "Change how?"
I looked at the girl's hoping they would jump in to help me.
Summer leaned forward, "We're doing a simple experiment to see if an enhanced version of the same formula they use at the fertility clinics to see if it will change us."
Kel added, "For money of course."
My mom looked at all three of us like we had lost our ever living minds. She didn't speak for a long time as she processed what she just heard.
Finally she spoke, "So let me get this straight. You three kids agreed to have your bodies 'possibly' change with an enhanced version of the same formula they use to help people to get pregnant?"
We nodded.
She stood and hissed, "Are....you.....fucking...insane."
She pointed to the living room where our dad was watching tv....very loudly I might add, "When your father just told you he doesn't want any of you to throw your lives away and start fucking reproducing before you all are done with college. And you're telling me that you are going to take a fucking serum that will fucking guarantee it? And for what....money!"
Kel spoke, "But mom we will still have our O Plug's in us it's totally safe. Plus we already got our first installment along with our egg money."
My mom blinked, "Your what?"
Summer spoke, "Egg money. When you get the O Plug installed Muschi offers female's the option to have their eggs purchased so every month you go in they remove the eggs and a few days later you get paid."
My mom looked at her a little dumb founded as she spoke, "Uh didn't know they did that."
She shook her head as if trying to stay on track, "But still."
She got up and grabbed a different wine glass and filled it up as she grabbed the bottle before returning with both the bottle and glass along with a towel, dust pan, and broom.
I faintly heard her muttering about her ruined clothes and the dry cleaning bill to get the stain out.
She handed me the towel, dust pan, and broom, "Here make yourself useful."
I sighed as I grabbed the items as I began cleaning up her mess as all of it landed on the hard wood flooring so the clean up was fairly easy.
