After Sato handed over the Bucktooth Man and the Fat Man to the League, he also reported their connection to the two missing persons mentioned in his mission. As he expected, the mission he had previously accepted was soon marked as completed.

Because of this, Sato's PokeDollars and contribution points increased by another 500,000 and 500 respectively.

Up to now, the League account balance of "Tyler," Sato's small alternate account, had already reached 3.2 million PokeDollars, and his contribution points had reached 5,300.

"Brother Tyler! I finally saved up enough to accept the promotion trial for becoming an League Outer Member! I really have to thank you this time—come, let me toast you!"

At a small eatery outside the Pokémon Center, Phil excitedly raised his cup of juice, grinning from ear to ear as he spoke to Sato.

In this mission, Phil had undoubtedly 'carried nothing' once again. Although he felt a bit embarrassed, he was still extremely happy—after all, he had 'ridden along' with some skill and good judgment.

Next, he only needed to complete the trial task, and he would officially join the League. By then, he could proudly return to his village and become "the kid other parents brag about."

"No need to thank me. If you hadn't helped me take that mission, I wouldn't have run into all this. You earned it."

"But your strength still needs some work. It's best to take the trial only when you feel confident. Anyway, I hope you become a League member soon."

"I'll accept the trial soon. Once I pass, I plan to start traveling to participate in next year's Hoenn League Regional Tournament."

Sato lifted his cup and clinked it with Phil's before drinking it in one go. Then he spoke earnestly to Phil, who seemed slightly carried away by excitement.

"I know, Brother Tyler. After this mission, I'll go train properly. I will definitely pass the trial! And when next year's Hoenn League comes around, I'll be there too. Who knows—we might even be rivals!"

Phil's smile faltered at first at Sato's words, but quickly returned even brighter as he laughed.

Seeing that Phil took his words seriously, Sato nodded, said nothing more, and began enjoying the food with his Pokémon.

After lunch, Sato returned to the Pokémon Center. By then, he had removed the Tyler human-skin mask and returned to his true identity as Sato.

To maximize the benefits he could extract from the Altaria nest incident, Sato decided he needed several strong Pokémon from Professor Oak. Of course, using Swampert was still out of the question.

Thus, Sato decided to retrieve Nidoking, Crobat, and Venipede.

Since leaving the Slowpoke Temple, he hadn't seen Nidoking—his second full-IV ace Pokémon—in a long time. With Swampert temporarily unavailable, he would carry Nidoking again.

Professor Oak informed him that Nidoking had grown rapidly, now able to flexibly use all of his techniques. His level had risen to 52.

Among all Sato's Pokémon, Nidoking undeniably possessed the greatest number of moves. With the Life Orb he carried, he could threaten any opponent of any typing.

Sato stored the three newly retrieved Pokémon inside the long-unused Multi-Space PokeBall.

He had kept this Multi-Space PokeBall tucked away in his storage equipment for a long time, never really using it. But now, it could finally shine.

Throughout the past month, aside from training Pokémon and doing missions, Sato had been thinking deeply—especially about the huge problem of being unable to use Swampert for the time being.

Many important and troublesome matters could not be handled by his small alternate identity. He needed a "Main ID" to deal with them, or he could easily miss great opportunities and run into unnecessary trouble.

Take the Altaria egg incident, for example. If he participated using the Tyler identity, he absolutely wouldn't be able to compete with the many powerful people present. Worse, he could even lose his life.

Therefore, Sato started seriously considering creating a new identity to support the growth of his small one.

Swampert was unusable? No problem—he still had many other strong Pokémon. They weren't as powerful as Swampert, but more than enough to deal with opponents of similar level.

After delivering the two bounty targets to the League and learning about the bounty hunter profession, a new idea began rapidly taking shape in his mind.

In the League, anyone who isn't a wanted criminal can accept Bounty Missions. The League never asks about your background while accepting these missions as a bounty identity. As long as you complete the mission, you get your reward—no questions asked.

Sato hadn't done anything "heroic" in a while, and he missed the carefree days of being the "hero of Goldenrod City." Unlike now, where he constantly had to pretend to be timid—frustrating to the point of suffocation.

Thus, he made up his mind.

He would create a new Identity and play the role of a bounty hunter—doing good deeds by hunting criminals, while secretly helping his alt identity grow.

Most importantly, bounty hunters earned massive funds and contribution points. And because bounty hunters contributed to the League, his new Identity might even earn League recruitment someday.

After thinking long and hard, Sato decided his new identity would be named Raiden Suzuki—a lone poison-type specialist trainer. His ace would be a Sheer Force Nidoking, and he would belong to no faction.

In truth, Raiden was originally the identity he had once planned for his dark-team formation… but due to many reasons, that team had yet to be completed.

Now, Sato decided to revive that identity and rebuild a new team—starting with Nidoking, Crobat, Tentacruel, and Venipede.

"Tyler going offline. Raiden Suzuki coming online."

Outside a Pokémon Center in Slateport City, a black-haired youth wearing a grey-black elite trainer uniform walked slowly from afar. His face was partially covered by a bat-shaped black half-mask.

Under the strange looks of many passersby, he walked into the Pokémon Center without expression.
