Chapter 185 - The Great Hogwarts Heist

"Bring more toast and salty bacon, it doesn't matter if you can't finish it. Just heat it up for dinner."

"Hurry, go get plates, knives, and forks, remember to get more copies to avoid running out."

"What about potatoes and fried fish? Of course, take everything, don't waste time, I don't want to hear such a stupid question again."

Under the command of Hannah, Malfoy, and Harry, the first-year wizards who rushed into the auditorium divided into several units in an orderly manner, neatly packing all the food and tableware on the table with a tablecloth, and then carried the heavy package without any attachment and ran toward the door.

In less than a minute, the table that was originally full of abundant food was plundered. Perhaps with the experience of raiding the kitchen yesterday, the tricks displayed by the young wizards this time seemed much more skillful and efficient.

Dozens of new first-year students moved quickly between the auditorium door and the dining table like diligent ants.

"Director Dumbledore, do you think this is...?" Mrs. Pomfrey turned her head and looked around at Dumbledore with confusion, her tone filled with bewilderment.

"This... this..."

The expression on Dumbledore's face suddenly became strange, his facial muscles stiffened, and it seemed that he couldn't find a suitable expression for a while. The lump in his throat was no less than that of Pomfrey by his side.

For a moment, countless questions arose in the old man's mind.

How is this happening?

Why is this familiar scene happening here?

Elena? Shouldn't Kaslana be in the Newmontgarde castle thousands of kilometers away?

"Director Dumbledore? Director Dumbledore?"

Mrs. Pomfrey, who got no response, gently shook the old man's shoulders, and a hint of concern appeared in her eyes.

"Oh, oh... nothing, of course, we first have to find out what happened."

Dumbledore recovered, stared at the auditorium swept by the disaster of locusts, and cleared his throat forcefully. "Dear all, could you please explain a little first, what are you doing?"

Upon hearing Dumbledore's voice, the young wizards who were searching for food and tableware with lost heads couldn't help but stiffen, and instinctively turned their attention to the three young wizards standing at the door assigning tasks.

"Everyone continue, let me explain."

Draco Malfoy clenched his fist, and even coughed with a special tone, and walked generously toward Dumbledore, "Dear Professor Dumbledore, if I remember correctly, Hogg Watts does not require students not to bring food from the auditorium, right?"

The blonde boy looked into Dumbledore's deep blue eyes, a trace of anxiety and tension flickered faintly on his face, he instinctively averted his gaze from the old man and stared fixedly at the wooden table in front of the faculty.

Although he had rehearsed it many times in his mind beforehand, when he was actually in front of Dumbledore, the invisible pressure and tension still made Draco Malfoy feel uncomfortable.

"Compared to sitting in the school hall for dinner, all the first graders agreed that it was more comfortable and relaxing to have a picnic on the open grounds of Hogwarts. So we planned to move our lunch outside to eat. At one point, Mr. Hagrid also agreed."

"A picnic?"

Dumbledore raised his eyebrows thoughtfully, a clear look appeared in his eyes, and he looked at Draco Malfoy with a smile, "If you just change the dining location, it wouldn't be so conspicuous... I suppose you went fishing in the Black Lake again today, didn't you?"

"How did you know... No, it was Mr. Hagrid who took the initiative to fish."

Draco Malfoy's face quickly blinked in panic, and immediately realized that he had made a mistake, he staunchly backtracked and shrugged.

Dumbledore shook his head in resignation, knowing that Elena's influence had left some traces, which had rubbed off on the first-year students in a group of "little thieves".

But strictly speaking, the behavior of these first-year students really did not reveal any flaws.

"Never mind, Mr. Malfoy. Hogwarts will not punish everyone for fishing in the Black Lake, nor will it be petty or old-fashioned to force everyone to stay in the auditorium for dinner. Simply, it is out of consideration for the school as a whole, I hope you eat as much as you want, and do not waste it unnecessarily."

Indeed, the "looting" behavior of first-year students may seem destructive, but it will not cause too many problems for the house-elves in the kitchen below because the food they take is originally intended for them.

As for the tableware or the like, Hogwarts certainly does not lack in this area.

After receiving Dumbledore's response, Draco Malfoy's confidence seemed to have improved a lot, and he was about to explain a few more words according to the lines he had memorized before. The chubby, round-faced Neville ran breathlessly through the auditorium door.

"We're running out of time. The third-year students and Professor Snape are almost at the auditorium door."
