Chapter 59 - Chapter Forty Six

A/N:

I have a patreon. Here's the link:

patreon.com/MrFlashXO

There are 3 tiers set up in patreon.

The lowest tier is Watcher and it costs around 3$ a month. What would be the perks? U would get to read the chapters in patreon ahead of the webnovel. And not one or two chapters. But around 10-12 chapters ahead.

The mid tier is Warper and it costs around 7$ a month. What would be the perks? U would get advanced chapters as the watcher would get, plus Fan requests could be made, which would be fulfilled in the novels.

The highest tier as of now is the Legendary ARCHITECT and it costs around 15$ a month. This has the most perks. U would not only get advanced chapters. Not only fan requests. U can play a great role in the novel itself. U would also get a special side story. That won't be available for the other two tiers. And there would be other benefits added later as the number of patreons and readers increase.

Consider joining for advanced chapters available for members. And soon smut chaps would be uploaded there. So yeah, support me, ig.

_______________

The city shuddered beneath our battle.

Homelander and I tore through buildings, streets, and the very fabric of normalcy, locked in a storm of destruction. Every blow we exchanged sent shockwaves rippling through the skyline, windows shattering, cars flipping, and people screaming as the fight raged on.

BOOM!

I struck first—lightning crackled across my fists as I drove them into his chest. The impact sent him hurtling backward, his body carving a deep trench through the street before he stopped himself midair.

His laughter was harsh, bitter. "That all you got?"

His eyes glowed red, beams of molten heat tearing through the air toward me. I barely dodged in time, the energy slicing clean through a skyscraper behind me. It collapsed in on itself, a plume of fire and smoke consuming the night sky.

We were too powerful. The city wasn't built for this.

Homelander lunged, faster than a bullet, faster than thought. He slammed his fist into my gut—pain erupted in my ribs as I flew backward, crashing through an office building.

Glass exploded around me as I tumbled through desks and walls. I barely had time to recover before he was on me again, grabbing me by the throat and slamming me into the wreckage.

"You think you're better than me?" His voice was low, dangerous. "You think you deserve to stand in my way?"

I gritted my teeth, my body aching from the force of his grip. My hand shot up, crackling with energy—lightning surged through my veins as I grabbed his wrist and twisted.

BOOM!

The shockwave sent him flying, smashing into the street below. Asphalt cratered under the impact, sending debris rocketing into the air.

I exhaled sharply, stepping toward him—

Then, without warning, everything went white.

A blinding flash consumed my vision, an overwhelming burst of energy so intense that, for a moment, I thought I'd been vaporized. Heat surged through the air, static electricity crackling across my skin.

When my sight returned, I saw it.

A golden shield glowing between me and Homelander, stopping my attack mid-swing.

And behind it—Queen Maeve.

She stood between us, her arm raised, the shimmering barrier fading into the air. Her emerald eyes met mine, filled with something unreadable.

I stepped back, confused. "Maeve?"

She exhaled, rolling her shoulders as the energy dissipated. "You almost killed him."

"That was the point," I said flatly.

Her jaw tightened. "We can't—"

"Can't what?" I cut her off, stepping closer. "Let him face consequences? He's killed thousands, Maeve. He's a monster."

Her expression flickered. I saw the hesitation in her eyes.

"You know I'm right."

Maeve inhaled sharply. "Even if you are… this isn't the way."

"Then what is?" I snapped. "Letting Vought cover up his war crimes? Letting him keep pretending to be a hero?"

Before she could answer—

A streak of blue shot into the battlefield.

A-Train.

Still wheezing from our earlier fight, but standing. Barely.

Then came Black Noir, emerging from the rubble, his silent presence unsettling.

And behind them—The Deep, still smoldering from my lightning blast, but alive.

The Seven were here.

I clenched my fists, scanning them all. I could take them.

But then—

A deep, unnatural rumble shook the ground.

The fight froze.

We all turned toward the horizon.

A massive Vought facility loomed in the distance—one of their secret research labs.

And it was glowing.

A pulse of blue energy erupted from within, spiraling into the sky like a beacon.

Even Homelander looked unsettled. "What the fuck…?"

Maeve's eyes narrowed. "That's not normal."

I didn't hesitate. "I am going, to check it out. and I think you should do the same. "

Homelander shot me a glare. "You're not giving orders, asshole."

I ignored him, already taking off toward the lab.

This fight wasn't over.

But something bigger was happening.

And I needed to know what.

### Vought Research Facility – 30 Minutes Earlier

Inside the heavily fortified lab, alarms blared, red lights flashing in urgent warning. Scientists moved in frantic chaos, their voices clashing in panic.

"Contain it!" one of them screamed, punching emergency codes into the terminal. "If it gets out—"

"It's too late!" another scientist shouted, backing away from the chamber at the center of the room.

A swirling blue serum pulsed violently inside the reinforced glass, energy dancing across its surface.

This was years of research, the pinnacle of Vought's secret experiments.

A perfected version of Compound V.

No side effects. No cellular degradation.

A pure power booster.

And now—

It was unstable.

The chamber cracked, the pressure reaching its limit.

The scientists scrambled for safety.

A final, sickening crack echoed through the room.

Then—the glass shattered.

A shockwave rippled outward, knocking the scientists off their feet, shattering machinery, sending sparks cascading through the air.

From the mist of energy, something moved.

A figure slowly rose, their silhouette illuminated by the pulsing blue light.

Their veins glowed with raw power, arcs of energy crackling across their skin.

Their eyes snapped open—

Burning like twin suns.

A new god had just been born.
