Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

In an unknown, harsh sea far away from the Six Continents of the Hunter x Hunter world, a ship sailed through dark and turbulent waters.

*SPLASH*

*SPLASH*

The weather here was unusual. There was no sunlight, only dark clouds, thunderstorms, raging sea storms, and enormous shadowy sea creatures that occasionally surfaced from the depths.

On the ship, many crew members gazed at the fierce weather ahead and the raging waves, their faces filled with amazement.

"It's already been half a year since we left the Six Continents, and I still haven't seen a single sunny day like we used to. Sigh~"

"Get used to it already, Roo!"

"That's right, Roo. This sea is really vast. We've been traveling through these harsh conditions for so long, yet we still haven't reached our destination."

"How vast is this sea?"

"I heard the boss say it's called the Great Lake Mobius. It's a massive lake in the center of the Dark Continent. It is conventionally divided into three sections: Human Territorial Waters, which encompass the relatively small area occupied by mankind; Untamed Waters, where the New Continent is located; and Dark Waters."

"So we're in the Dark Waters now?"

"Huh? Dark Waters? Just because the water is dark here? Whoever named this place was pretty lazy, right?"

"Do you really think this is a lake? It doesn't feel like one at all."

"Who knows? Just taste that dark water. If it's salty, then it's the sea."

"Hey, the water here looks ominous and so dark. Do you want me to die? I still want to follow the boss on his journey."

The crew burst out laughing.

In contrast to the stormy weather and raging waves, the people on the ship laughed and chatted with one another.

Meanwhile, inside the captain's cabin, a man in his late twenties spoke to the person beside him, who was dozing in a chair with his feet propped up on the table.

"Boss, our food supplies in the warehouse will only last for half a month. What should we do?"

Hearing this, the boss stood up, walked to a small window, and looked out at the dark clouds and turbulent sea.

"Is this coincidence or destiny working against us? Wandering and wasting time in this lake for six months. It seems destiny is against us."

Then he glanced at his crew. "Reiji, call everyone and gather them on the deck. I have something to announce."

"Understood, boss!" Reiji replied before leaving the cabin.

After Reiji left, the boss glanced outside the window once more before following him out.

...

Soon, the crew gathered on the deck, waiting for the announcement.

*KACHA*

Seeing the boss emerge from the cabin, Roo, who was sitting on the deck stairs, could not help but ask the question on everyone's mind.

"Boss, boss, what's the announcement?"

"Haha, don't be so impatient, Roo."

"Yeah, boss, what's the order?"

"Reiji said earlier it's an announcement, not an order!" Jugger exclaimed.

"My bad, my bad," Ken replied, scratching his head with an awkward smile.

The boss looked around for a moment. After confirming everyone was present, he spoke. "Alright. I called you all here because I have two announcements."

Hearing this, the group quieted down and listened attentively.

"First, our food supplies will only last for half a month, and it's uncertain whether we'll find an island with edible food."

Roo raised his hand. "What about the sea creatures, boss? Can't we eat them?"

"No," the boss replied, glancing at Jugger for a moment before saying, "Last time, I had Jugger hunt some down, and none of them were edible."

"Yupp," Jugger added. "I used Gyo on the sea creatures I hunted, and they all had an ominous dark aura around them."

"What a shame," Roo muttered. "With how massive they are, a single one could feed us for months. Sigh~"

"Indeed, but there's nothing we can do. I didn't expect this either." The boss looked around for a moment before continuing, "Second, we will temporarily stop our journey here and return to the Six Continents to prepare a better plan. Don't worry. It won't be too late to come back here."

"I didn't expect our first failure in traveling to the Dark Continent would be caused by a food shortage," Ken chuckled.

The boss nodded. "Indeed. I also never expected that the creatures in the sea and on the islands we landed on would all be inedible. It seems we need better preparations next time."

He then added as he headed back toward the cabin. "Let's return, lads, and get ready. I have a feeling the Six Continents will become lively soon."

"Six Continents, huh? I hope the V6 won't give us trouble once we're back, kekeke~," Jugger said while cleaning his sword. He paused, then smirked. "But if they do, let them taste the result of half a year of my improvement."

"I hope they interfere after we get back. Let's see if they can break my bones now, BWAHAHA!" Ken added, bumping his fist.

"Although we still haven't landed on the side of the Dark Continent that the boss wants to explore, our journey and experiences have still been interesting and fun. We're like newborn babies, curious about everything we see," Reiji added as he sat on the railing, watching the raging waves.

"Indeed. If the boss hadn't invited me, I wouldn't even know that the world outside the Six Continents is so vast."

"Yoshhh! Dark Continent, don't get cocky! We'll be back next time!" Roo shouted from the deck stairs, clenching his fist.

"Cheer up, Roo, HAHAHAHA!"

"Ken, turn the rudder!"

"Yes, yes!"

...

After issuing the order to return to the Six Continents, the boss entered the cabin and gazed at himself in the mirror.

He looked exactly like Gojo Satoru from the Jujutsu Kaisen world. The same face, silver hair, silver eyelashes, blue eyes, and even the same outfit.

"It's already been 25 years since I reincarnated into this world. Is this really not a coincidence? It's now January 1999, the year the protagonist begins his journey to find his dad."

"Hmm~ and that brat Killua might also find me." Scratching his head, he muttered, "Gon is chasing his father, and Killua is chasing me? That guy Ging is really a bad influence."

"Still, I do look just like Gojo Satoru. Same silver hair, same eyes, and even my hair down there is silver too, haha."

"Welp, it's not so bad being this handsome, just like the readers, haha. Or maybe it's because of my first template," Satoru thought.

"System, open my status window."

The Template System had accompanied Satoru ever since he was reborn into the Zoldyck family. He received Gojo's template as a system gift when he was a baby and fully mastered it by the age of ten. At eighteen, he unlocked and mastered Itachi's template, followed by Shanks' template.

In short, the system had two functions. First, it allowed him to obtain a new template after mastering the current one to one hundred percent. Second, it occasionally assigned main tasks and side tasks.

Looking at his status window, Satoru muttered, "It's really lonely being the strongest."
