The village was gone.
It was in the literal senses.

Despite knowing that, it was impossible for Ruth not to feel disappointed.
She came running here, crossing several rivers and valleys.
Knowing that they were back to Afirer Kingdom, there were some unrealistic hope brewing in her heart and now, Ruth realized that there was simply no hope.
It was obvious that nothing would remain here.
The people whom she used to know were also people who could not possibly protect themselves when the grand magic beasts' tide happened.
