After obtaining the Lustrous Globe, Chris was ready to leave this space. If there was nothing else worth his attention in the Hanging Islands secret realm, then he was prepared to go home directly.

He planned to search in the game through his handheld device and quickly gather the materials needed to create a divine treasure for Gardevoir.

"Don't leave in a hurry yet," Vladimir suddenly stopped Chris from departing.

"What's wrong, Teacher?" Chris looked back at Vladimir.

Vladimir squatted in the middle of Zapdos's lair, right where Zapdos had been lying just moments ago. He picked up the wires on the ground and examined what the eight lighthouses were connected to.

"These eight lighthouses should be storing a massive amount of electricity. Zapdos must have spent a long time collecting it," Vladimir observed.

"It would be a rare supplement for Electric-type Pokémon."

"Don't waste it—let Zeraora absorb it all."

"Oh!" Chris had almost forgotten about that.

The lighthouse created by Zapdos was indeed a battery that stored electricity. It was made by forcing other Electric-type Pokémon to work.

Just like the previous lighthouse, Chris had initially placed it on Trial Island No. 7 before moving it to his own laboratory, where it was used as a "charging station" for Zeraora.

Now there were eight charging stations, which meant eight times more happiness for Zeraora!

This really couldn't be missed!

Chris immediately instructed Zeraora to go to the location where Zapdos had been resting and start absorbing the power.

Zapdos's method for absorbing electricity was relatively primitive. It only required Electric-type Pokémon to activate wires carrying electrical current.

It looked like a "straw."

Zeraora stood in Zapdos's nest, and the electricity coming from all directions soon condensed into a sphere of light, wrapping around her body like a ninth light bulb.

Compared to Zapdos's method of resting while absorbing electricity, this was truly absorbing electricity.

However, the more troublesome issue was that even Zeraora couldn't absorb the massive power from eight lighthouses all at once, so it would take some time.

"It seems I'll have to stay in the Hanging Islands secret realm for a while," Chris said. Since he had to wait for Zeraora, Chris decided to let Gardevoir train here for a bit.

After all, using his handheld device to find the Adamant Crystal and Lustrous Globe could be done anywhere.

He had Gardevoir use Secret Power to create an opening in a nearby stone wall, and then he continued watching movies, drinking beer, and playing games.

"Alright, then you can stay here and train. I just happen to want to take the Zapdos you gave me and visit the spaces it's been to. There should be Pokémon trapped in those space rifts that are constantly producing electricity," Vladimir said.

Thinking about it, there had been this kind of lighthouse in the space rift where the forest originally was.

Looking at the eight lighthouses before him, he really didn't believe that this Zapdos hadn't created a few more space rifts following the same pattern.

"Zapdos has committed too many wrongdoings!" Chris said with emotion.

But he was a little confused about something.

These lighthouses were clearly the work of humans.

When he had been saving Theodore, he had thought that the existence of the lighthouse was a coincidence—something that already existed in the space rift—and it was precisely because there was a storage space that Zapdos had placed the electricity-storing lighthouse there to exploit Electric-type Pokémon.

But seeing these eight lighthouses, it seemed that things weren't quite what he had thought.

Could this Zapdos have been raised by humans?

That didn't seem right. Zapdos was now captured by him. If it had been raised by someone, it probably wouldn't have been left to roam free without even being kept in a Poké Ball.

Even in ranches that specialized in producing Moomoo Milk and wool, every Miltank and Wooloo had a corresponding Poké Ball.

"If I find any new lighthouses, I'll send them to you when the time comes," Vladimir said as he stood up and asked Gengar to open a space rift.

"Thanks, Teacher!" Chris waved his hand.

After seeing Vladimir off, Chris was also ready to settle in.

He threw several Poké Balls and released all the Pokémon he had with him.

Although the space rift was desolate, it was also a place where Pokémon could exercise freely. On Trial Island No. 7, at the manor in the capital, and even at Green Valley's ranch, Greninja didn't dare to unleash his full power with his ultimate moves for fear of causing some damage.

But here, there were no such concerns.

Greninja, Tyranitar, and the others immediately started training their ultimate moves.

Meanwhile, Mega Gardevoir directly used one of the lighthouses as the target of Secret Power, opening a door that only Chris could see.

Inside the door, there was a beanbag chair, a refrigerator, and a computer.

Chris stretched, took out an ice-cold Coke from the refrigerator and poured himself a glass, then selected a comedy movie to watch. Finally, he leaned comfortably on the sofa, took out his handheld device, and started playing games.

His goal was to find the "Adamant Crystal" and the "Lustrous Globe."

But... where should he look for them?

In the game, the Adamant Crystal and Lustrous Globe came from Dialga and Palkia. If he wanted to obtain these two items, he would have to battle them to get them.

What he was looking for now were the complete Adamant Crystal and Lustrous Globe.

In the handheld game, these two items only appeared in the "Arceus" version, corresponding to the "Sinnoh region"—or more accurately, the Sinnoh region from more than two thousand years ago.

To obtain the true Adamant Crystal and Lustrous Globe, he would have to travel to the Sinnoh region from more than two thousand years in the past.

Two thousand years ago...

Time travel?

"But... how do I travel through time?" Chris frowned and thought seriously.

Although he held the Adamant Crystal in his hand, Gardevoir still couldn't travel through time like Celebi could. This had nothing to do with the power of time that Gardevoir controlled—the key difference lay in their species.

The use of the power of time was limited to moves like Future Sight.

It was impossible to go back two thousand years in the past through Gardevoir's time power alone...

So, how could he travel across time?

"Wait... Celebi?" Chris suddenly remembered that he had encountered Celebi before.

It was after he had taken over as Champion of the Hoenn region that the Hoenn Alliance had released a championship mission. During one of those missions, while exploring, he had discovered a group of Celebi!

"I should go take a look!" Chris's eyes brightened as he thought of this.

If he could capture a Celebi, he might have a chance to travel to the ancient Sinnoh region!

He turned on his handheld device, flew to Ever Grande City in the Hoenn region, then surfed out to sea, heading all the way south!
